ok every i have about 12 reporters in the bottom half of the map by fort creedy they never made it back and i havent heard any radio signals from them there last contact to any of the team was 3 days ago i had a reporter in santlerville and he never made it. were down to 32 reporters if we still have that many alive. me and 3 other reports are stioned in a pd in the mmiddle of dulston. i dont think malton is safe anymore were starting project evac get any 1 alive out of the cities marked red today we go down the map some ways to fort creedy to find out what happened where are yall at? --tomer 08:22, 24 march 2008 news 9

Assault on Fort Perryn and Burgundy's Death

My name is Stephen Wolfe, former leader of the Special Tactics and Rescue Sqaudron. At approximately 1900 hours last night, the gatehouse at Fort Perryn was overwhelemed by a horde of the walking dead. We were forced to pull back into the armory, but it wasn't long before the dead poured in like a tide. I had the honor or fighting beside Ron Burgundy, and I owe it to him to tell you that he was a hero. He scrambled around the base, trying desperately to gather the survivors into a workable defense. He was brave.

We fought them. You have to believe that. We fought until the end.

Sometime after noon today, they broke into the armory; and we couldn't hold them back. There were so many. Burgundy was pulled out of the base. I don't know if he survived, but I don't see how he could have.

I saw good men die in that fight. My friends.

I'm very strongly barricaded in the storehouse with two other survivors. I'm too exhausted to get out of here. They're gathering outside; I can hear them now. There are, at the time of this writing, 26 survivors in the infirmary. It still has power- but they've broken down the doors, and there are dozens of animate corpses in there as well. Most of the base is a ruin, the infirmary might be the only place left intact. If it is, it won't be for long. There are well over 100 corpses within the walls.

If there's anyone out there- anyone- stay away from the base. It's too late for me. For all of us.

Fort Perryn is lost. There's nothing left to fight for.

Ron Burgundy, I hope the beer in Valhalla is good. We might be joining you soon.

Re: Caiger Mall

Zombies have started breaking into Caiger Mall, and it's generally assumed that LUE will be arriving soon. There are a lot of survivors in the area, but a dearth of class could be our downfall. Would just like to get something clear: The vast majority of radio chatter about LUE, is not being produced by LUEsers. It's virtually all non-LUEsers filling the airwaves with theories. We do not care for radio obfuscation and do not wish to make it a standard operating procedure. But there are spies, and if they insist on attempting to spoil peoples' fun, we will take steps to render their non-classiness irrelevant. Flooding the airwaves with verbal countermeasures is one step we will take if necessary (and some of the chatter today has been precisely that). LUE will also take a few steps to minimize such spies' ability to forewarn, and any and all classy player groups should boycott these spies when they are found out. If such spies are squelched, LUE will be able to, and happily will, refrain from using the radio as a weapon, aside from Barhah Betty.

As a side note, Barhah Betty may propagandize. She may tease, she may even taunt. Primarily she seeks to add a bit of drama and amusement, and intends no offense to anyone. Betty never, ever, ever lies. You will note that she never said that Hildebrand Mall would be attacked tonight - of course, she didn't not say it, either. --Vito Mortis

Yagoton: Outbreak

Akin to parasitic infection aggrivating a dire but treated wound, Northern Yagoton is reaching potential high-level outbreaks. We've had mass movements virtually overnight to attack the weakened Bale Mall. The sad truth is, the YRC has more on its hands than it can handle...and that hurts those groups which depend on us as a centralized revive point in Malton. Wykewood- An interesting side trip, maybe

Hi. I'm with Josephine's Generals. If any of you guys don't want to chase the skirt of Caiger and are looking for a fun little diversion may I recommend the hospitals of Wykewood? We have been besieged for about 3 or 4 months. Lately it is less than 30 survivors against 90+ zeds. Honestly, we could use the help. Wykewood is a great neighborhood, a mall is just 9AP away w/ Free Running and the zeds are plentiful. DvEM has passed through, as hasDead on Arrival. The Church of the Resurrection are currently there spamming up the place with hordes and hordes of ferals. C'mon.. 90+ bad guys on about 30 good guys ...now doesn't that sound like fun?? Too much emphasis on Latrobe?

I've recieved some disturbing reports from Caiger Mall. While Latrobe NT is heartily defended, apparently the Sweeny NT building just a single block South of the Mall is frequently abandoned. While I can understand the resistance against having split defenses, I believe it would be wiser still to try and keep BOTH NT buildings functioning rather than 'putting our eggs in one basket'. C4NT in Pitneybank, With FU?

I was hoping someone on this end could tell me what's going on with Pitneybank. I lead a merry band of four, who have been fighting the war for Pitneybank since the Mall went under. But I've been seeing posts on the wiki and broadcasts stating that a member of Feral Undead and a member of the Channel Four News Team are organising a push into the area. Frankly I'm confused. I thought C4NT was too busy with Cagier at the moment, and FU is a Zombie group. So could someone confirm or deny these rumors? We don't want false hope out here in the red zone. Thanks. The C4NT has no affiliation with the FU, aside from any past glorious battles we may or may not have had with them, and I certainly haven't heard any word of C4NT forces pushing into Pitneybank. Currently all our forces should be focussing in the Caiger area, but there are always those few stragglers who cannot resist the call of other battles. I do not personally know of any C4NTer in Pitneybank, but if you see one, send them towards the Caiger area, thats where they should be fighting! Tovarisch Khrushchev 07:11, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

It was bad enough that Survivors were Nerf-ed by the Majority of the updates over the last year...

It's Bad enough that Zeds have been immune to most of Kevan's anti-zerging measures while legitimate players operating out of universities have been pwned...

It's Bad enough that cheaters like Max can get away with Zerging their asses off while people like Me, DHG, Ron Burgundy and any other survivor leader that puts together good ops gets tagged as a Zerg...

Now, Extinction is using automated techniques and tactics to maintain control of NTs and other resource buildings...

I have purposefully been silent for a while because I just haven't had the heart to deal with this BULLSHIT with all the personal crap that has gone on in my life over the last 6 mos, but I have been playing... And I even orchestrated a number of people who had given up the game to come back to play for a bit to see if a difference could be made...

It is obvious the game has been broken by a number of enterprising individuals, and unless serious changes are made to the current Status quo, things are not going to get any better....

Therefore....

I, and anyone I can convince should cease and desist all activities ASAP.

I don't have any problem getting beat in a game fairly but there seems to be serious activities that have taken survivors off the same scale as Zombies some time ago... I f Kevan wants to save this game he's going to have to do some serious rework of the mechanics and stiffen the anti-zerg measures to stop manipulators like Max and his ilk from exploiting the system...

Well, I can't speak on behalf of the entire group (since I'm technically only a secondary member; my primary membership is w/ another group), but the Channel 4 News Team forms as something of a very loose group--not all "members" are actually members, per se. Many PKers like to take advantage of the group's loose structure to use the tag as their group tag. Necrotech and Zombies Unlimited Press Release

As of April 1, 2007, Necrotech has initiated testing of a new "zombie socialization promoting pheromone". This scent attractant is particularly effective against the "young" zombies who have only been dead a short while. The pheromone causes those susceptible to gather in large, docile groups, where they are no danger to nearby survivors. The pheromone has a limited range (about as far as a zombie can travel in a day) and Necrotech has limited supplies and production capacity, though we are looking for ways to produce more.

As of May 1, 2007, Necrotech is proud to announce it's new partnership with Zombies Unlimited, initiated in an attempt to improve conditions for the survivors of the zombie outbreak in Malton. We will be providing this new technology free of charge to Zombies Unlimited, paying all production expenses out of our own pocket and forgoing any licensing fees. In exchange, Zombies Unlimited will (among other tasks) fly, land, and maintain drones planes, using them to emplace and maintain pheromone dispensers at certain key points in the city, in an effort to draw otherwise potentially dangerous predators to those areas and pacify them. The fact that this activity allows our employees (and hence the company and its properties) to benefit by studying a fairly "tame" mass of zombies is, of course, no sway on Necrotech's altruism. Designated target points for this effort are:

• Novell Walk [76,25]
• Doswell Lane [24,76]
