Active groups going into 2010:
- Malton Telephone (MalTel) is devoted to maintaining the network of phone masts; anyone interested in joining is advised to contact them via Radio Frequency 27.10. 18:50, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

- Yeatman Communications is dedicated to the preservation of culture and communication among the inhabitants of Malton, broadcasting on the Radio Frequency 29.00.
2009

- Rolt Heights: Kract Jaw will work to keep the phone mast in Rolt Heights up and running. We can be reached by radio at the frequency 26.55. 24:15, 22 January 2008 (MST)
2007
Groups active for 2007 (and early 2008 if updated later in the year):
- Chancelwood: THEM, the defenders of Haslock use mobile phones extensively and are keeping the tower active. JackGoodaxe 06:46, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- The Dunell Hills Police Department is currently maintaining the phone masts within the Dunell Military Zone.
- Dulston: The Electric Light Torchestra is currently providing light in all buildings of Dulston. They also power Parrott Towers' mobile phone mast. (Join us! we can use help enlightening ... and we are pretty organized.) 18:07, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

- Old Arkham: The Reformed Old Arkham Republic is maintaining the phone mast in Old Arkham 15:32, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Pescodside: The group PDA has taken up the responsibility of maintaining and defending the mobile phone mast on The Farbrother Building 01:48, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Reganbank: Clan Hometwig and the Redneck 'lil Boys are making sure that the phone network stays up in this area. 19 August 2007
- Rhodenbank: The Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps will continue to keep watch over the mobile phone mast located in, you guessed it, Rhodenbank. 05:48, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- Raines Hills: The Special Recon Unit is maintaining the mast in Raines Hills. Mast destroyed 3/25/2007

- Edgecombe: The neighboring CDF, local EEMS, MFD & Neighborhood Watch actively maintain & secure the phoneline in Edgecombe. Dec 12th , 2006
Past
Older maintenance groups, include date for last known mast activity for history tallying:
- The great Independent Nation of Owsleybank keeps a proper connection running day and night from Dobin Auto Repair in Owsleybank to the world.
- Pennville Freedom Movement has been keeping the phone mast building secured and powered in Pennville.
- I just visited Pennville; they are not active. I found an unoccupied but caded mast building with an old MalTel grafitti in it. Asheets 20:20, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- The Channel 4 News Team has volunteered to maintain mobile phone service in the Caiger Mall area, thus further supporting their brothers, the Caiger Mall Survivors.
- The Creedy Defense Force has volunteered to maintain mobile phone service in the four subs around the Fort Creedy area. The Creedy Area Network: If no one else can the CDF CAN
- The ROACH Klips have volunteered to help try and maintain mobile phone service in Roachtown. Any assistance would be welcomed!
- The Abandoned keeps the generator at the Yagoton tower running.
- I'm at the Yagoton tower now, and it looks abandoned (bad pun ,I know). Seriously, though... there are about 150 infected humans in a 4 block radius of the mast, and no working hospitals. Asheets 16:22, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Select members of the Bale Mall Elite help keep the generators running in East Boundwood and Yagoton.
- The Warseers are maintaining the Mobile Phone mast in Eastonwood, and will continue to until =][= FURTHER RECORDS PURGED =][=.
- The Garniss Border Patrol are keeping the phone mast in Scarletwood up and running.
- Haven Radio is currently aiding MalTel in the maintenance of the cell mast in Pashenton. (EDIT: Haven Radio has not been seen anywhere around the mast in weeks, if any groups or people are willing to assist keeping this up, please contact us in Pashenton. Thank you!)
- The Malton Postal Service has set up a regional mail processing center in Santlerville and will maintain the phone mast there as part of this facility.
- The Shearbank Resistance is maintaining the phone mast in Shearbank.
- Doveton Towers Mobile Phone Mast Support Team keeping your cell going and going and going in Osmondville
