  25. Yes, but not just for ladies. "Leather Thigh-High Boots" or "Leather Knee-High Boots" (I would prefer the latter) could be worn by ladies or men - women would mostly wear the ones with high heels, while skinheads, punks, and leather obsessed dudes would wear the waffle sole, steel toe, work boot kind. Canvas basketball Shoes

I think that Malton should have canvas basketball shoes. If you're unfamiliar with these, they are frequently worn by punks, goths (apparently) and the like. Also, they look pretty badass. I don't know if you can post images here, but if you want, I can put 'em on my user page. Or here if it's aloud. Anyways, they should be found in towers, malls and clubs(if its an indie rock or punk venue, than I can totally see them being left behind) They should come in black, pink, blue, dark blue and red. They are based on the style made by converse, but they're diffrent. Yeah thats it.

Yes (Canvas basketball shoes)

  1. Author vote--Kouchpotato 04:06, 7 July 2007 (BST)
Ok, so I've changed it to Canvas basketball shoes. I just put Converse, so people would know what they acually are. I agree about the company name. Thanks for the imput!--Kouchpotato T 03:39, 9 July 2007 (BST)
To comment like so, use #:. Just using : will break the voting order. What you should do is let this die, then repost it as canvas shoes. Not change the name. Some more boots.

You all know the drill by now.

  • Steel toecapped boots. Used commonly by people in warehouses and factories as a precaution. (so your feet aren't crushed by stuff landing on them) Found in warehouses and factories. Found in black.
  • Biker boots. Sturdy leather boots. Sometimes decorated with steel plates. Similar, but not Identical in look to cowboy boots I reckon, found in pubs. Found in dark red, balck and dark brown.
  • Hiking boots. Sturdy leather boots. Never owned a pair myself, but I beleive that theyr'e designed mainly for comfort and to be hardwaring. If i'm completely honest, this is probably what I'd be wearing in a zombie apocolypse. FOund in mall, and maybe somewhere else? Dark brown, tan, and black.

  8. Of course. This is probably what you would want to be wearing in a zombie apocalypse...well, minus the steel toed unless you're stupid. A little known fact (unless you have worked in them before), is that steel-toed boots wear down and the steel begins to come out of the toe of the boot. It can eventually get to the point where it is cutting your foot. Bottom-line, if you walked/ran alot, you'd need a new pair of ST boots almost every month...--Big Bur 05:25, 22 July 2007 (BST)

No (Name suggestion)

  1. No - No need. I don't think boot descriptions need to get that specific. "Tan Boot" or "Brown Boot" covers most hiking boots well enough. "Black Leathet Boot" covers a nice range of biker, combat, and work boots. KISS. And that's coming from a guy who owns more boots than shoes... . . . swiers BigEYEwitnessLOGO.png 16:51, 26 July 2007 (BST)

Snow boots

Since it's winter in Urban Dead, I have a new idea to put in the footwear slot. During winter people like to wear boots made to walk in snow and keep their feet warm when they play outside. No (Snow Boots)

  1. I thought the boots already in-game were an assortment of hiking/military/snow boots... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 22:41, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
  2. will people expect not sliping from ruined building and taking injuries if wearing special boots?.. --~~~~ [talk] 06:58, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Well no. This is a clothing suggestion, NOT a item suggestion. Besides, such an item would probally nerf the icy ruined building thing anyway and that would be unbalanced. -- Waterspark2 02:36 P.M., 13 February 2008 (EST)
You didn't get my point. people will expect benefit. --~~~~ [talk] 14:16, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
The only benefits are that it is stylish and it keeps your feet warm. If I wanted to, I would have suggested this as a special item for such use. There's a reason why it is called snow boots, not ice climbing boots. --Waterspark2 05:07 P.M., 14 February 2008
  3. No- I don't live in Canada, that's all I have to say about this.--/~Rakuen~\Talk Domo.gif I Still Love Grim 00:22, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
    HA! you little copy-cat.--Jamie Cantwell3 05:22, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Just because you don't live in a place that snows a lot is not a reason for voting no. I live in Florida. I'm talking about the game, not real life. Sheesh! Waterspark2 10:29 P.M., 13 February 2008 (EST)

Socks!!

I can't believe that we haven't suggested this before! We need socks! They could either be in the same slot as footwear or a separate slot altogether (similar to Coat and Jacket slots) and come in a nice variety of colours and styles (examples below). They would be found in Malls, Hotels and various other places.
Examples:

  • Woolly knitted socks (various colours)
  • Odd socks (various colours)
  • Ankle socks (various colours)
  • Sports socks (various colours)
  • Novelty socks (Reindeer, Cartoon characters, etc)

Either way, socks are good. :) And in a zombie apocalypse you need to get your feet warm. -- Cheese 22:36, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes (Socks)

  1. Keep - Dis user lieks socks. -- Cheese 22:36, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
  2. Keep - Yeah, I think that this fits completely. If somebody's inside and wearing socks without shoes before the zombies kill them, then they'll be stuck with socks but no shoes throughout their zombie life. For that reason, I think that socks should just be in the same category as shoes, and socks should be assumed for shoe-wearing users. --Hegel5000 15:15, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
  3. Keep - Cool--Jamie Cantwell3 07:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

  7. Yes - Makes sense. Why wear shoes when you don't have socks? --Waterspark2 22:36, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
  8. Yes - Sure, why not? EDIT: But ONLY if it goes under the foot slot. I would be against its own separate slot.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  19:35, 10 May 2008 (BST)
  9. yes I would love it if they had little moose sockies like from I Z --Mystarisjumpyman 00:27, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
  10. yes - why not? it'd be nice to add some more on here. --Corinthias 21:52, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
  11. yes I can easily imagine a dirty zombie apocalypse survivor kid balled up in the corner of a rooom with socks instead of shoes. --ChiTownBear 11:11, 29 July 2009 (BST)

No (Socks)

  1. No - as with underpants, not needed, and certainly should NOT get its own slot. At best, they would be an alternative to shoes / boots, for people who go barefoot. Anybody wearning shoes / boots, you can't see their socks, so its simplest to just not have them. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 22:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
  2. as the above anonymous. --~~~~ [talk] 22:06, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
    Don't we strike out anonymous votes here? Or is that only for the regular suggestions? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 22:08, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

  4. I just voted no. Even though I only wear funny socks. Fact. --Vandurn 00:52, 3 April 2008 (BST)
  5. Please no more slots --Freakazoit 11:52, 1 June 2009 (BST)

Golf Cleats

Now I know that we have football shoes but that just doesn't cut it. Nothing says functional class like patent leather golf cleats with metal gripping spikes. Could be found in parks or in select malls. Good with the ice, the mud, or for walking through/over piles of bodies.
