Edge/EEMS Discussion Page

May 7th, 2007: Ummm, why did your member Suburban Ed come into Grinter Cinema and PK me in Pennville? He is now on our sh*tlist and will be butchered endlessly unless a good explanation is given. I know he is a known PKer from the past. Not a good guy to have in your "survivor group.Cineraryone 21:22, 7 May 2007 (BST)

Please create new topics or add to existing ones as needed, this page was created for purposes of streamlining joint Edgecombe communications & tactics between allies, locals & other interested parties. We ask that secure information be emailed to Euphoriakill rather than posted

Groups operating in Edgecombe and it's outlaying suburbs, malls & fort are asked to add themselves to our suburb list to clarify the resource pool we are attempting to create for us all

Hello?...

Just wondering if this group was still active, anyone who knows please reply. Thanks --McSkullcracken 03:10, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Barricade Policy

We are currently seeking contributions to our existing barricade policy, buildings already with a BP are no longer open for discussion. Current conditions have us thus far agreeing on a uniform EHB for those buildings not currently under our BP, we have already ensured entryways next to RPs as well as all junkyards to act as staging grounds. Contribute here if you wish to manage buildings in Edge, other input with also be posted here from other forums as needed/relevant. Buildings already with a BP are set in stone so please consider this when thinking of additions to this plan. Current visualization of BP is on EEMS main page

EHB???

The Uniform Barricading Policiy asks you to do it, and Malton Hospitals Group agress, Hospitals should be kept at VS. While I'm not going to make a huge fuss over it, I am going to ask that you take the 'cades down a bit. Surely you can't be in so much trouble that you have to have 3/5 hospitals at EH?--Labine50 MH|ME|P 04:29, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

  • St Laurence is struck at daily as a result of it's proximity to St Benedict's & Fort Creedy so is caded to EHB, St Louis is struck daily from the central core of active zombies so is caded to EHB, St Deusdedit's Hospital is secure for the time being. hospital policy as stands is this way for a reason, if you wish to actively cade, gen, fuel & offer hospital hours in Edge we are more then willing to bring you into the fold, otherwise your opinion doesn't help us...we have already considered other avenues. Edge is no longer for those without freerunning, we have many entryways for those that do. Our position between the malls & Creedy have made this an necessity for their protection & ours - Euphoriakill, MFD Edgecombe Captain & EEMS Tactician
    • Funny you should mention it, I happen to have a consumer in the area. I most likely won't join, because they are, just a consumer. Quite useless really.--Labine50 MH|ME|P 01:15, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
      • policy has changed as area became more densely populated and was able to support a uniform VSB plan for hospitals

  • Who's deciding it and where can I put in my input? Daniel Hicken 05:25, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
    • this is being decided by MFD & local groups, put input on Talk EEMS if you wish to manage buildings in Edge, other input with be posted there from other forums as needed. Buildings already with a BP as posted on the EEMS BP section are set in stone so please consider this when thinking of additions to this plan - Euphoriakill, MFD Edgecombe Captain & EEMS Tactician
  • Edgecombe Families... we got Southcott Plaza Fire Station to be kept at VSB. (just though it'd say) --Kiddy 23:17, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Southcott is already listed at VSB, I can add that it's under ECF's focused protection

As the MPDs new Chief Inspector for SE-2 (Stanbury Village, Roftwood, Edgecombe, Shackleville and Tollyton), I would like you to review my suggested new Edgecombe BP. Please note that I was modifying the official plan, not the one of your group. This means on the one hand that there may be many differences to your current plan, without a decent explanation of why I came to a different conclusion. I'd like to offer a talk in a realtime environment, e.g. IRC, to discuss major issues. On the other hand it's not helpful to have an official plan that is only used by few survivors, while important survivor groups adhere to an internal plan. Please use the opportunity to contribute to the official plan.--Paul Power 17:12, 8 July 2008 (BST)

Revive Points

EEMS currently maintains 3 RPs, priority being Digby Walk, then Oldidge Way & lastly Moon Way. This is because Digby is closet to our frontlines, those actively fighting for the core of Edge can be mainly found here so our focus has been directed there as well

Oldidge Road

I'm currently in Pegton, near Oldidge Road; I'd like to see the RP opened again; the nearest appropriate building is over-run...if the EEMS can spare some help to me for a bit, I'll be glad to help. My UD profile is here. I've got a good number of syringes on me so the RP could get going fast, plus I can manufacture, as well. I've got two radios, tuned to 27.04 and 27.27, and can retune to get messages, should you wish to contact me that way; I have a Mobile phone as well. Daniel Hicken 04:36, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Hey...Okay, I'm stupid. I ran out of AP in the Oldidge Way Revive Point, so I'm probably dead-meat. If you or someone can come down a couple guys have got a genny and fuel in the Maven building. On the upside, I've learned construction so I can take care of the buildings in my corner of town... Daniel Hicken 02:20, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
    • we have yet to re-install phone mast in Edge but are making it our priority after it quietens down enough for us to spare the ap searching. a MFD squad member has been informed of your situation and is already in area cading around your location, did you post on DEMRR? send me your email & i'll add you to EEMS email list

Could you use some help?

Euphoriakill- Hi Johnny Lunchpail, Commander of U.S. ARMY INFANTRY

We are a midsized group with two independant companies and a bootcamp. I was looking for a place that could use some help. Edgecombe is red on the danger map and loked like a good area is that a current and accurate description of the suburb. Because we would be bringing our Bootcamp with us I want there zeds to kill but I didnt want a place that was too out of hand. BRAVO Co and our boot camp have been working in grigg heights with the DEM. If you could use the help we have about 20-25 soliders/recruits we would like to bring to edgecombe area the week of the 27th. I guess we would be there for 3-5 weeks. We dont like to stay anywhere longer than that as the group will get too many zed spys; by moving we shakeout the zed spys (they tend to lose interest as we move farther from there territory)

you can contact us on our board or the DEM ally section or my user talk page --Johnny Lunchpail 14:06, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Mobile Phone Mast

Hey there,

MalTel here. We're wondering if you'd like to help with maintaining your mobile phone mast in Edgecombe. It is located in a warehouse at 74,54. If you do, please indicate so at the MalTel or mobile phone mast page, with a time stamp.

Thanks a lot!

Hello Euphoriakill this Don Tartalia of the Creedy Defense Force. The Mall Tour is heading towards Giddings and I'm wondering if you'd be willing to lend a few men to defend the mall? http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=614154 You can also reach me at the CDF Forum http://killtrend.proboards58.com/

Hello Fellow citizens! I and others are working towards an alliance that will make our shared home safer than any other part of the city. We believe that your group would be an asset to the alliance. Please have a representative contact me at CGRHQ.tk if you are interested. --Franz Molotov 18:56, 22 August 2007 (BST)

VZW Alliance

The Veterans of the Zombie War, also known as the VZW have been operating in the Edgecombe and Four Corners area for a long time now. We have helped and been helped by many of your members over the years and are writing today to inquire into formalizing relations between our groups. Please take a few moments to read our group goals and if you find they match your own, then contact us on our talk page to formalize an alliance. Thank you for your consideration, sincerely: --Shazzelim 14:25, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Stop hand.png Group Active? Request.
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Suburb pages when they are no longer active. Is this group still active? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not it will be removed from suburb pages in 14 days.

Currently the suburb in question is Edgecombe but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. thank you --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 10:59, 28 July 2008 (BST)

Stop hand.png Group Inactive?
