Mother
I don't know about you, but quite frankly I think this page is offensive. Maybe this is the wrong place to report this, but I don't think this sort of Content that offends people should be allowed on our Wiki... -Dezonus-
(talk) 08:45, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- It should be noted that the content has been manually moved by the user to Your Mother. When I finish what I'm doing, I'll delete that as a result of this vote, as it's essentially the page that was voted on below.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 20:14, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- move - it isn't offensive, but it is bad. i suggest, if it isn't a group, move to user's userspace. -- LEMON #1 08:52, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Move - offensive? For reals?
09:21, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Yes I think It's downright offensive. Here's some Highlights:
- "Your mum, in a rare sighting out of whoring"
- "Your Mom (born roughly twelve years before you and eleven before her mom)"
- "Your mother followed suit (Slut!)."
- "After marrying your dad directly following getting totally wasted after her nightclub job, your mom had you and your brother."
- "your mom progressed to become dumber, followed by massive weight gain."
- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dezonus (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.
- If offensive I can tone it down. It was meant as a Satire, and isn't finished. I was going to include a long list of yomomma jokes (and all info before that is to be explained in them). Nobody is supposed to take offence. It's a joke. It's not pointed at any specific person, either. --Officer Mead Sheaffer 17:20, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Scratch that. This isn't Uncyclopedia, I'm deleting this and re-making it. --Officer Mead Sheaffer 17:40, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Dezonus, we can read it as well as you can. No need to quote it here. Also, please format your comments so that they don't break the voting. —Aichon— 17:59, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- I hate to cause a blamestorm here but it really kind of appears that Officer Mead Sheaffer created an intentionally offensive page so that he had an excuse to use his "classy disapproval" pseudo-template. I guess that's just speculative but c'mon...really? --~
18:05, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Actually I made that template straight off the bat, when the page was viewed before it was finished and finessed with. The page was intentionally meant to be offensive to everyone, but not to any specific person. It had a lot of offensive content. I humbly apologize however, due to I created it with the mindset of an Uncyclopedian, something that cost me a bit of credibility on this wiki for humor. Therefore I'm re-making the article. --Officer Mead Sheaffer 18:13, 29 September 2010 (BST)

- Yes I think It's downright offensive. Here's some Highlights:
- Speedy Delete - It's Crit 2 since none of the content is relevant. This isn't a personal blog. Pages in the main namespace are supposed to have value to the regular UD player, meaning that they should either be about the game, a group, or something else of general interest. "Your momma" jokes are not pertinent, and either belong in personal namespaces or not on the wiki at all. —Aichon— 17:59, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Speedy Delete - As Aichon --~
18:06, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Speedy - I'll get this some time within the hour if nobody objects.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 19:48, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Move and Keep I had something similar happen to me, where my page was speedied before I had even a chance to respond. I later had to undelete and move it to my userpage. While technically a crit 2, and thus eligible for Speedy, I'd prefer a precedent where we automatically move that stuff to the userpage, or at the very least give author time to save it. I guess this nullifies the Speedy itself, but I can't say I dig crit 2. --

- Which explains why he recreated it again in the main space despite knowing full weel about namespaces.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 20:55, 29 September 2010 (BST)

- =P Poor phrasing on my part. What I mean to say is, if he intended to have it as a userspace article within his space, such as in your case, he would have put it in his namespace either on the first time he made it or when he remade it after this deletion reuqest began.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 21:12, 29 September 2010 (BST)
- Then it should be explained to him that off-topic content should not be in the main-space. Crit 2 is true, I just don't like it's being used for speedies. Just delete the main stuff, move to his own space and give a polite warning not to do this again.--

- Keep but Move - This is no more offensive than the time Mis said my mom was doing it wrong, not that offensiveness has anything at all to do with whether we should allow a page to live. Even though it's unfunny. --VVV RPMBG 23:25, 29 September 2010 (BST)

UDWiki:Administration/Misconduct/Archive/Mistakes
It's an archive of mistakes added to A/M, yet it appears to have only been used once and never again. In general, we just delete these sorts of mistakes, rather than archiving them, so having it seems pointless to me.
