Introduction

Welcome to the Talk Archive! Old crap from yesteryear that was clogging up our talk page got moved here into this jumbled mess. I'm sure some links broke while doing this, so feel free to fix stuff if you're bored enough. --Mr Qwert 04:00, 10 June 2008 (BST)

Friendly Stuff

Where people stop by and say nice, cordial things about LUE.

Good zombie etiquette

If it wasn't for you guys, and girls, the survivors would still have the NW. Good job. You have made it more like a zombie apocalypse everyday. I've been dead more this week than all the other times combined. =doc crook 02:26, 4 September 2007 (BST)

Welcome

Allow me to welcome LUE to Malton on behalf of the RRF. It's fun seeing a huge new zombie horde from an established website rise like this. The last time this happened, the Shacknews horde pretty much destroyed every survivor in the game. If you ever want to talk to old fart zombies, we'll always have our ears open (and oozing).

Barhah!

Murray Jay Suskind 20:12, 22 June 2007 (BST)

Barhah! Always gratifying to receive the recognition of the trail-blazers. Should any members of the RRF be uninvolved in the liberation of unjustly oppressed lands or the defense of the homeland, we would welcome their company in our campaign. Youth and vigor can always use the aid of wisdom and experience.
--Vito Mortis 21:43, 22 June 2007 (BST)

I'm honored to be the first open minded harman to welcome you to the city.
As most of your members are relatively fresh undead, I'd like to welcome you with a healthy "Brnhr".
Keep clawing at the 'cades, keep rending flesh, and we'll see you in the streets. Sir FredQSG

Beautiful...this is just the shot in the arm the zombie population needed. Hope to have you guys in the game for a long, long time!--Jiangyingzi 07:28, 25 June 2007 (BST)
Great fun taking down Nichols Mall with you guys yesterday. Hope to see more joint RRF-LUE strikes in the future. BARHAH! --Goolina Gore Corps 20:17, 28 June 2007 (BST)
Hey, great to see a nice big Zombie horde around, makes the game so much more interesting. Hope you guys stick around for a long time, making UD more exciting for Zombies and Survivors alike. Bring on the Barhah!--Dr Bigbones Legion of the Octopope 14:15, 06 July 2007 (BST)
Simply put, masterfully done. Well organized mass strike. I had a Alt in Ackland and actually online when you attacked in number. Very impressive. If you keep this up this group will sure be apart of the history --XxPale HorsexX 00:03, 8 July 2007 (BST)

UZM

Hi, this was deleted without comment so I'm posting it again. Would your users find this UD browser useful? If not then just say no and I'll delete it. --Zeug 10:52, 25 June 2007 (BST)

I was the one who previously deleted it, there is concern about it regarding account security. For this reason we'd rather not run the risk of messing with it.--Malkav

Fair enough, it's just a frameset around the UD screen though, we built it and are using it in Extinction. You can ask a code geek friend if there's one in LUE and they'll be able to ok it via html source in under a minute. Or not, it's up to you and completely free to use. Cheers, --Zeug 17:23, 26 June 2007 (BST)

Congratulations

Congratulations on your recent success at nichols mall. It's great to see such coordinated group which was able to overrun the heavily defended mall so fast.--KiT 23:42, 29 June 2007 (BST)

Concerning Tollyton

Please stay in the mall and leave quietly. We're not strong enough to repel a full scale attack and would fall quickly if you organized some sort of large raid on the whole suburb. The mall was our strongest point - there are mainly low level people in each building, often non combatants. Please spare us! :) --DrBowman 21:05, 5 July 2007 (BST)

Bwah? Advertising that the mall is vulnerable? Me smells something fishy... Oh, and LUE? Congrats at Nichols. Right after that fell, we in Blackmore were screwed. Thanks for a REAL enemy to face. You've brought alot of flavor to the game :D --Kouchpotato 16:39, 6 July 2007 (BST)

Hey... no problem. You were all very delicious.--HeavyDead 18:19, 6 July 2007 (BST)

It's nice to meet polite zombies. If I was to be devoured by a hoarde of zombies, I'd prefer it to be the LUE. --DrBowman 18:13, 7 July 2007 (BST)

'Ello

Noticed there was a new zombie group in town. Thought I might send a shoutout and an invitation to Glorious Battle to you guys courtesy of the Channel 4 News Team.

(And, incidentally, Huey Long asked me to ask you to vote for him in the next Mayor of Malton elections.)

At any rate, the response you'll get from me in-game will vary according to which alt you run into, but nevertheless, welcome to Urban Dead. --Specialist290 19:14, 28 June 2007 (BST)

Thank you for your kindness! LUE looks forward to satisfying that invitation when the time comes, and will be honored to do so. --Vito Mortis

Ah yes LUE. Great board, now an awesome horde, at least from what the grapevine says. I do hope to be in a siege situation with you guys someday. Oh BTW, good job with Hildebrand and Herbert. I went on a free run to Hilde, and got mauled as soon as I stepped into Herbert. Barely got away. Well, see you kids around ;).-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 08:00, 8 July 2007 (BST)

Impending Doom in Pitneybank

Hi Betty/LUE,

I'm from The Headbangers of Malton and I'm currently leading a small team of about 5 zeds in an X:00 assault on an NT in Pitneybank. I heard Barhah Betty announce your forthcoming visit to Giddings Mall in Pitneybank.

We'd like to join in the fun if we can. We are currently using 2000 GMT as our attack time. Does that fit into any of the synchronizing that you use? You should be able to contact be securely by registering at the above message board, and PMing 'armareum' on there. 'arm. 21:26, 10 July 2007 (BST)

Don't really think that time is compatible with us. But I will check in on the board and we can coordinate something together. We love to party with the local color!
Just a note - I registered at your forum, but I cannot access either the PM or topic-making functions. If you can fix that, you can PM 'Vito Mortis' and we'll talk some shop.
--Vito
Haven't returned to the wiki is a few days. I asked the Group leader to activate your registration. However it's all probably at moot point anyway. I know I've seen a fair few LUE operating 2000-2200 GMT. And there are plenty of other zed groups and ferals in on the action. You've sacked the Mall now, and we've moved to attacking the Morrish NT. I got in about 40 mins ago with the first batch. 182 survivors (they must have ran away from the mall), so should hopefully put up a better fight. 'arm. 22:26, 13 July 2007 (BST)
--Vito 01:07, 11 July 2007 (GMT)

Continued here.

greetings from the Undeadites !!

it was nice experiencing the mad rush of your massive horde taking Creedy. it made our work a lot easier, although a bit rushed. So! great fightings were had, clearly, here's hoping you noticed us. we were making a rather large dent before you came along, but you really opened 'er up for everyone! Cheers!--Surfincow 08:43, 12 July 2007 (BST)

But of course! We were a bit surprised at the carnage already wreaked before our arrival - you guys had them on the ropes for sure. As I commented elsewhere, we hit the fort like an A-bomb, when a couple of grenades would've finished the job. We love seeing the locals welcoming us when we show up to party! We hope you'll shamble over and partake of the free buffet we're currently holding in Giddings Mall. We'd love to party with you in the future. I'm going to arrange for our (non-LUE) message board to have a visitors' section as well as a private section to plot some strategery with non-LUE zambahz on. Looking forward to partying with you!
--Vito Mortis

I'm Impressed

Well, sweet merciful (zombie?) baby Jesus. You guys are going through malls like a buzz saw. I can't speak for any other survivors, but I have to say I'm impressed with how you guys have hit the ground running here in Malton. It's nice to have someone to worry about besides the usual suspects. Maybe we'll end up crossing paths someday; I look forward to it. It should be, as those C4NT guys always say, Glorious Battle. --James Ennis 04:08, 15 July 2007 (BST)

Thank you. We look forward to eating/being shot by you.--Zan Fury 12:20, 15 July 2007 (BST)

The Gore Corps

According to the exceedingly paranoid and overly excitable Ulysses Black, the Gore Corps are in Heytown/Santlerville in advance of the LUE and have already entered into an alliance with you. I didn't even consider it until he mentioned it, but I think it's a worthy idea. What say you, LUE? Would you care if we lent a hand when you do eventually storm Santlerville? Not that you need it, of course, but it would help keep the harmanz busy while you tear into their mall...and it would be good for the lolz. --Goolina Gore Corps 11:13, 16 July 2007 (BST)
Continued (and quickly deteriorates) here.

Hey

This is Rhuster of Metal Fox. You've probably never heard of me. I'm Flasktoss (Or just Flask) on RI and in the RIA (CyberNations, WHY DID YOU GUYS HAVE TO GO?!). So, yeah, just saying hello. I hope to see you zed scum in action. --Rhuster 19:33, 18 July 2007 (BST)

a humble request form a few brothers in arm's

well i have to start off by giving you guys some great props.as a horde you romp. ive watched yu guys wander around the map as the suburbs turn red. your ability to amass such a large force is admireble to say the least. but ill stop kissing your asses and get to the point.

my name if you care is setite, im a member of extinction and co'founder of NTJ. we hang in the north west, holding NT's. making needles hard to find is what we do. using spread sheets to keep tabs on survivor activities. we've been doing a bit of expanding lately, from 4 suburbs to 9, and we've been spread a bit thin. we haven't been able to attract new members as well as you have. and as a result were in danger of losing everything we've worked for.

im asking you come make a trip and lend us a hand. you guys have what we don't. numbers, troops, the ability to turn a suburb very dangerous. with the help of 100 or so troops to tour the place we could wipe the area out. how does this help you? because you get to eat people, you get to visit a place you might not have been to before, and killing humans is what we zombies do. so lets do it together. im not asking you to make the NW your home like we have, or to drop everything your doing and rush in to help us right this minute. but if you find the time and the will, to help turn the map a bit more red. then shamble on over.

heres our forum, http://extinction101.proboards100.com/index.cgi you can post any kind of response in the general board if you like, or here on the discussion page i suppose. I'll be checking it. if vito mortis or someone of his likeness wishes you can send me a private e-mail at bebopking69@hotmail.com. setite- -Bebopking 06:28, 23 July 2007 (BST)

Well, I actually beat you to that. Back when we were rampaging through the SSZ, I asked DrBrainz if he'd have any interest in sending people along with us to make sure the NT buildings we squashed stayed ransacked. He said he did not since y'all tend to work the corners. Diverging interests, I suppose. Eventually, I have to assume we'll make it up to Caiger Mall so we'll probably see you then, but I don't think you'll have much luck with getting "100 troops" out of us in the near future since it doesn't really work that way. I think the biggest problem is that LUE is hungry and it's tough to keep the horde fed with anything but nice plump malls. We have the ability to devastate a suburb, but it's too tedious and unrewarding. Safehouse cracking is reserved for slow nights when there's nothing better around. None of this is a "no", I'm just trying to tell you what the main problems are.--Insomniac By Choice 13:51, 23 July 2007 (BST)

Axis of Zombiekind

Very, very impressive. You know, maybe the LUE, the RRF, and the Feral Undead should get together and form an Axis of Zombiekind. -- Mordac the Refuser 05:22, 26 July 2007 (BST)
I know this is just spam, but your idea simply sounds too cool to pass! :D . I would be so cool...LUE would be Germany, RRF would be japan, and the FU would be Italy...yeah..would be cool.... The man 09:14, 26 July 2007 (BST)
That all sounds great, you know, but you might have forgot the Axis powers lost the Second World War. Besides, we're not the bad guys, here. We're just trying to help survivors share the glorious warmth of Barhah. Seriously though, the RRF, FU, and LUE are all extremely different goups in history and design, but compliment one another nicely. We already have loose alliance going right now simply because we share the same interests (breaking malls and resource buildings, killing survivors, turning the map red), but if leadership in zombie groups ever returned to a coordinated cooperation like the old Ministry of the Dead, I know I wouldn't mind.--Insomniac By Choice 21:14, 26 July 2007 (BST)
Who said anything about Winning? The RRF is about having fun.--Karekmaps?! 00:37, 27 July 2007 (BST)
Well I certainly don't want to lose. And besides, I don't consider getting my ass kicked by the Urban Dead equivalent of the Americans and Soviets to be much fun.--Insomniac By Choice 04:59, 27 July 2007 (BST)
Can the CRF come too? --Sonny Corleone RRF CoL DORIS CRF pr0n 05:04, 27 July 2007 (BST)
Certainly not. We're all going to come to you to party inside Caiger. I just worry you won't be able to provide enough food for all of your guests.--Insomniac By Choice 09:49, 27 July 2007 (BST)
Don't worry the CRF types know how to be good hosts, they know where to find all the trenchiest food. The kinda that wants to be eaten so their 1000 year eyes stop looking into the distance.--Karekmaps?! 10:41, 27 July 2007 (BST)

Huge Fan of LUE

I have to say, so far, I'm a huge fan of LUE. My survivor alt declined comment on the matter. My zombah alt is kind of, well, bad at communicating, but he did manage to gesture wildly with his thumb in an upwards direction. If no one from RRF Group Zero has thanked you for wreaking havoc on Woodruffe, lemme be the first. Also: your notable conquests lack two buildings which I feel would be crown jewels to the collection: Caiger Mall and the mouthy bastards in the Blackmore Building.

Cheers --Jonathan Frey 22:33, 24 July 2007 (BST)

Blackmore is most definitely under control and does not need help from LUE, that and I doubt they would have much fun considering there are only maybe 15-20 survivors in the whole suburb, they got mouths to feed and lots of them.--Karekmaps?! 03:07, 25 July 2007 (BST)
Plus, we helped out the RRF by taking Nichols the same night, right? That's got to count for like, half of Blackmore falling. So we half took out Blackmore already. Or something.--Insomniac By Choice 03:21, 25 July 2007 (BST)
And anyway, the RRF has a nice harman ranch going on their in Blackmore. If we can over and ate them, we'd be depriving the RRF (however briefly) of all those pet harmanz and their recycle-able supply of experience-laden bra!nz. Our meals usually don't keep coming back and docilely lying down for us to eat. You RRF guys get all the cool toys. --Vito
I'm new RRF, but so far Blackmore's more a pain in the ass than anything, and its overall importance is badly overrated. The building is a magnet for singleminded morons like the Blackmore Bastards who think that holding the place for any length of time is some kind of major ideological victory. Until we come kick them out again, that is. I can't decide what they like more, Blackmore or failure. Anyway, if LUE decides to establish a homeland for itself one day -- and you really never know -- no doubt you'll develop a few Blackmores of your own.--Jiangyingzi 19:28, 28 July 2007 (BST)
Nah, Blackmore is only really a problem when they all decide to pile in and claim massive victory. Usually it's a nice buffet for the younglings.--Karekmaps?! 21:16, 28 July 2007 (BST)

Welcome to Santlerville!

I was so happy to finally see you guys come in. Very impressive. And you guys were so nice to give me the first round of hugs! --Sexy Rexy Grossman 00:28, 30 July 2007 (BST)

You were nice to come back for seconds (as seconds?). Seriously though, good job. If you catch any LUEsers talking shit on the wiki or your forums, let us know. That was a hell of a fight for the SE corner and I expect the rest of the mall won't go down any easier. Good hunting.--Insomniac By Choice 00:47, 30 July 2007 (BST)

Great, you are in the same suburb as Headbangers of Malton, zombie half. Great minds think alike eh? I'll be sending my small horde down to join in the fun again. 'arm. 01:03, 30 July 2007 (BST) (PS. btw, Extinction has taken Calvert Mall and both Jensentown and Quarlesbank are Very Dangerous at the moment. Dakerstown and Gatcombeton will swiftly follow.)

Happy to have you! --Vito

Well, looks like we couldn't get you guys down past 90 in the SE corner. I'm not disappointed, though. I love that Santlerville spirit! We'll keep fighting you hard for the mall and Dewes tonight. See you in 90 minutes! --Sexy Rexy Grossman 22:32, 30 July 2007 (BST)

Well, you only have the Northeast quad now. Do you fight for one more day in the mall, or retreat into your resource buildings to have a different setting for your death? Either way, it's been a good fight so far. - Brona 02:37, 31 July 2007 (BST)
Nice to see there was too much dinner to be had in Dowdney tonight. But don't you fret! We'll get everybody back on their feet during the day tomorrow. I'd hate for you zombies to get bored in an empty mall. Also, make sure you don't take all the Wii's, okay? Thanks. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 02:43, 31 July 2007 (BST)
Cool, I've had some tasty treats here so far, and the idea of sampling some of them again is rather appetizing...wait. You guys have Wiis? Must be hiding them in that damn NE quad of yours, I've been looking for one for weeks and still can't find any.--Panthera 03:11, 31 July 2007 (BST)

Great to have some more sociable zombie guests in our suburb for a change. Before, I was searching for stray zombies to interact with and now there are bunches lining up outside to introduce themselves. If you get a chance stop by the Hall Building for dinner tonight. Private Damage 19:08, 1 August 2007 (BST)

I think a lot of my actives were expecting you guys after 7. Haven't you been told to be fashionably late? :) Nice show today in Dewes; I was worried you'd send a small strike force early, and I was right. And dead. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 23:55, 2 August 2007 (BST)

So Long! And thanks for all the Death!

So, we'll see you guys sometime after next week? We should have the revives under control by then. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 04:26, 8 August 2007 (BST)

Mayyybbbeeee, maaayyyybbbbeeeee not. We've got a gap on our "to-eat" list between two key items somewhere down the line, and we're still talking about how to fill that gap. - Brona 11:42, 9 August 2007 (BST)

Welcome to Shearbank(?)

200 Zeds are coming up the road from Santlerville, and I'm assuming that you're all to blame. Let me be the first to thank you for providing a fight. I don't think we have the heart and fury of Santlervilles defenders, but we'll do our best to roll out the welcome mat. See you in the Whippey building! Redwave 19:31, 8 August 2007 (BST)

You wouldn't happen to be GM98, would you? Someone felt the tickle of the scan and I saw your update on the Sheabank page. Anyway, we'll probably see you, although I don't know where.--Insomniac By Choice 20:27, 8 August 2007 (BST)
Nah, I'm just plain old Redwave. AaR to the core. It'll be good to finally meet LUE head on, so far I've only seen the aftermath of your work. Redwave 20:57, 8 August 2007 (BST)

Shearbank

Welcome to Shearbank, LUE! It's actually quite an honour to have you here!

We look forward to continuing our fight against you guys, this attack has been the most fun some of us have had in quite a while on UrbanDead so I hope you'll be staying for at least a little while :) Happy hunting! -Unema 09:24, 11 August 2007 (BST)

Welcome to Yagoton.

Though I guess you're not here to see our pokemans. ;) --MorthBabid 14:40, 15 August 2007 (BST)

Whatmore is such a tourist trap and then some of the little zombies needed a potty break so we decided to stop off at Bale Mall and grab a snack. Your pokemans were also most impressive.--Insomniac By Choice 16:16, 15 August 2007 (BST)
"Yagoton: Come for the brains, stay for the tourism." I like it. :) --MorthBabid 01:34, 16 August 2007 (BST)

Congratz on making #2!

Hi, I just wanted to say congratulations for becoming the Number 2 Group in the Game. You're only a few points behind the RRF. One more Mall Sacking and you guys should be Number 1. You guys certainly know about commitment. You've gone from being a relatively unknown group to the most feared Zed Horde in the game in little more than a couple of months. So, congratz on your success. -- Mordac the Refuser 15:45, 17 August 2007 (BST)

To their credit it really only took about a week, after Nichols and Woodroffe/Tynte they were pretty much the most feared horde in the game.--Karekmaps?! 22:11, 17 August 2007 (BST)

Well done, LUE.

I congratulate you on your conquests of the suburbs. Though I am distinctly anti-zombie, I enjoyed fighting you, though I sadly wasn't in any of the malls you defeated. The suburb map is stained with your colors- Red seems to dominate now. I hope you continue to actually give the element of danger to the game. And, if you're wondering why your enemy is congratulating you, it's because I'm polite. And tired of Harman Sheep. See you on the battlefield, --Jallus 01:55, 24 August 2007 (BST)

I'd like to echo these sentiments. For once as a survivor there is an actual mobile menace. Thanks for striking fear into the heart of Dulston. Those lazy bastards were getting high off of their mall anyways. High and fat. It was kinda gross actually. It's funny to watch them run. Seeing as of how they are fat and high. Makes for a good mental image. Please go back and blow a hole in the walls of Treweeke Mall every now and again, just to keep 'em on their toes. --Pyrranha 04:59, 8 September 2007 (BST)

The Shearbank Anarchy Cell extends an invitation...

...to a 5-9 day PK / brain munch festival to be held at Stickling Mall this February. The entertainment will include 1) destruction of all buildings around the mall in a three block radius followed by a full choir of moaning zeds outside the walls. 2) a mass PKA shoot 'em up on the inside of Stickling until the sheep either jump from the windows or flee into the claws of the hungry undead. Call it genocide. No survivor group left standing. We are aiming to finally bring Shearbank to its knees, and establish it once and for all as the dog-eat-dog paradise it was destined to become from day one. It's a huge operation that will involve the cooperation of as many PK and zed groups as possible. We want to write this day into the history books of Malton. Would the promise of such a screaming death fest interest LUE? Exact dates and details to be confirmed. http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Shearbank_Anarchy_Cell --Shearbank Anarchy Cell 07:36, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Greetings from your recent meal

We at Tikhon Medical thoroughly enjoyed the recent fights in Ruddlebank/Lockettside. It'd been a long time since someone tried to eat my brains... like 12 hours or so... but they weren't the unapologetically savage and threatening foe that LUE is. Hope to do it again sometime. - Uncle Elbert 23:59, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Howdy, Podners

Nice to see y'all again. It is with the utmost sincerity that I tell you we've been looking forward to it for days. Always a pleasure! --Evils Presley 07:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Where did all the humans go? Oh, LUE's here

Hey guys, the Minions of the Apocalypse have been involved in an epic struggle in Gulsonside for the past 3 weeks or so...ruining buildings...then humans build them back up. In the last few days the humans were getting the upper hand. Thanks for coming by and kicking them in the chest. Look forward to eating at the mall with you guys. --Slopface 16:47, 28 September 2007 (BST)

Alliance.

The leader of the NT Haters would like to ask you for an alliance for when the attack on CReedy begins. We can attack Creedy together and destroy. And don't worry i think i can get a man on the inside to help us both take Creedy. Without Creedy there will be less and less humans getting ammo and supplies soon we will take the other fort and completely dominate. What do you think you up for an alliance even through my group is small.--Yode god 14:28, 9 September 2007 (BST)

Maybe one day we'll go over there, but having hundreds of survivors sit in the forts and stay out of the suburb is something I'm perfectly okay with.--Insomniac By Choice 19:50, 9 September 2007 (BST)

Well tell me when you plan on attacking would you like to have my aim account info so you could im me info. And i can im Creedy info back to you Yode god 18:35, 10 September 2007 (BST)

Nah. Word'll probably get out pretty fast if it happens.--Insomniac By Choice 00:11, 11 September 2007 (BST)

Do you like my tactic to take down the fort. It's on my discussion page. - yode god 00:11, 2:46: 11 September 2007

Creedy Prison Experiment.

Someone is trying to inprison pk'ers in Fort Creedy. We need coordination between zombies and humans for this to work. You guys are the most coordinated zombie group there is, so we would like for you to help. Details here =Doc Crook 22:50, 24 August 2007 (BST)

  • Hello LUE, and a warm hearty greeting from the EF from zombie to zombie. We like your stuff, do carry on with your great work and eat some harmanz for us on your way of mayhem and destruction. --Obeah-Man 13:57, 13 August 2007 (BST)
  • Hello and a friendly BARHAR to all the Zambaz of the LUE horde, may your BRA!NZ always be juicy and your buildings barricade free. --EF Demolition 14:11, 13 August 2007 (BST)

Forts

Now that people can drag bodies out of the forts, the fort groups are talking alotta trash about how the forts can't be taken and held now. Sounds like that's right up the LUE's sleeve to prove them wrong, even with the new body drag ability!-- DoctorRevive 12:55, 15 August 2007

That’s not a good idea. LUE can tear apart a mall within an hour and they could probably do the same to a fort. So it would be a good idea to just let them attack the remaining malls they haven't been to. Then they can retire like Shacknews and we survivors can go back to the days of no massive hordes threatening the malls till the next mall tour.--Major Striker 01:19, 21 August 2007 (BST)
Re-ty-uhr? What is this "Re-ty-uhr" of which you speak? --Vito
I was just hoping that after y'all are done trashing all the malls, you will get bored of this game and move on to something else and balance can be brought back. That’s all I meant by the retirement part.--Major Striker 16:54, 28 August 2007 (BST)
Well if you check out the stats page, you'll find that LUE has lost almost 100 members since it took Caiger Mall. Also, there are FINALLY more standing zombies than survivors. You could pretty much say that the challenge is gone. I suspect in a couple of months the Red Block "Empire" in the North West corner of the city will have disintengrated and survivors will have taken back most of what they've lost. -- Mordac the Refuser 20:37, 28 August 2007 (BST)
Maybe, maybe not, especially if we can get enough zed groups interested in the more strategic aspects of UD gameplay with respect to Salt the Land. Keep an eye on strategic supply lines, keep mobile, keep sacking strategic NT's and starve survivors in the red zone of their basic offensive potential which is resupply of freshly revived troops and most especially help CRF keep Barhah Mall. Be very interesting to see how it goes. --Zeug 21:20, 28 August 2007 (BST)
If course it will be gone, it's not exactly childs play maintaining such an area and any half decent survivor group can break the red and retake suburbs, there are quite a few groups that are exceptional at doing just that.--Karekmaps?! 22:47, 28 August 2007 (BST)
Exactly. A few months ago, there were barely any red suburbs in the area and the survivor:zombie ratio was ridiculously unbalanced. If one side becomes too successful, people will switch to the losing side because it presents a greater challenge. -- Mordac the Refuser 19:00, 29 August 2007 (BST)
Actually the only reason things changed was LUE and Yahoomas. If not for those odds are that zombies wouldn't be much better off now.--Karekmaps?! 04:54, 30 August 2007 (BST)
Of course the red 'burbs will change color eventually. The game moves in cycles of supremacy, and over time survivors will be on top again. And the cycle will move back towards the zeds after that, and so on. LUE just happens to have the honor of being the source of the latest zombie hegemony, and good for them. I kinda like being more of a resistance fighter than a territory holder for a change.--James Ennis 03:26, 6 September 2007 (BST)
It looks like survivors are already starting to take back what they've lost. -- Mordac the Refuser 21:12, 7 September 2007 (BST)

I can't wait to prove them wrong LUE the NT Haters support you on any Fort attacks. Just first take out Giddings mall if you want a sucessful Fort Creedy battle. yodegod SEptembe 13 22:05 (EST)

Adios!

I think I speak for the rest of zombies in Malton when I say that we're sorry to see you go. Ackland Mall will NOT fall

This is a message to LUE! As long as me and AMS is in the Mall, we will fight on! You guys are going down...im takign charge of the barriacde! THOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!

Mmmm, meat-shield brain. Tastes like chicken. White meat. The kind that doesn't do much. *shlurp* 07:41, 23 June 2007 (BST)

isn't there some sort of diplomatic arrangement we could come to before you jump the gun and attempt to devour ackland? I mean, we're not going anywhere, and we'll just kill you and take it back if your here for an occupation. if your in it for experience, im sure we could work out some sacrificial arrangement that doesn't involve the complete annhialation of everyone in a mall. of course, if you want a good fight look no further. we'll fight tooth and nail. Barhah... so somewhere between an excuse and a lie, you found something that you believe.

Sorry, but zombies do not negotiate. Neither, for that matter, does LUE.--Vito Mortis

Its not over yet you zambahz freak!--Nazdreg

I don't want ot question your knowledge on this matter, but are you sure? Because it sure looks like it is.--Malkav

Ok....now it HAS fallen. But the fight isn't over. I trust AMS, they wil find a way to get the Mall Back!--Nazdreg

Of course they will get it back, when we decide to leave for other ventures. Not because we were driven out.--Malkav

Don't humor them. LUE is the armpit of the GameFAQs boards. They corrupt anything they touch (which is a quite alot, unfortunately). Eventually, they'll grow bored of their little rampage and move to whatever the next limecat is. --Indio65 01:40, 28 June 2007 (BST)

Pitneybank Crisis

Do you really think you can defeat the second strongest mall, they've been planning for this a week now as I've had some of my C.I.A. operatives posted watching you guys since your second victory over a mall and warned Giddings a week in advance so beat that. They've learned alot since the whole Shacknews mega-horde and I beleive from my intelligence on you all and Giddings that they will win and bore you out.--Major Striker 02:21, 11 July 2007 (BST)
Uhm, I'm going to go with "yes." --Vito
Wow you all are quick to responding hmm, we'll see as intel shows that Giddings got the advantage of dealing with something like this before and learning what to do against a mega-horde now and you guys are new so thats sort of a disadvantage but I'l just have to see as I'm keeping tabs on you all through my operatives and even made a new operation based around you all so remember the C.I.A. is watching you.--Major Striker 02:27, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Actually, just so everybody knows ... Betty never said anything about hitting Giddings Mall. Just for the record. We've buzzed malls in the past and not hit them. Not saying we won't, of course. Major LARPs-too-much up here is just begging to have Giddings get eaten, so we may have to open the Mall up to see if he's actually inside (somehow, I'm thinking the answer is "no.").

But no, Betty never actually said we were going to attack Giddings. Betty never lies, either: If she point-blank says we're not, we're not. If she says we are, then we are. Of course, she doesn't have to say when ... --Vito 01:32, July 11, 2007 (GMT)

Ah yes, my assumption, of course. We'll certainly enjoy the massive amounts of zombie brethren around when you visit. The Fort's already fallen though, so not much to so in that area.. 'arm. 02:36, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Well I'm done talking as I've already said to much so I need to go back to low profile but just remember we've got our eye on you. The C.I.A. watches alot in Malton.--Major Striker 02:41, 11 July 2007 (BST)

We're under surveillance. I feel so Big Brother'd. Y'know, Striker, I bet you even money that if we hit Giddings, it happens just like it did at Creedy - before you had time to formulate a plan, wasn't that what you said? Plan? What plan? You don't have a plan for 200+ zombies hitting your barricades simultaneously. At least, not a plan that doesn't involve heading for a new suburb. Stop it, man, you're embarassing yourself. "C.I.A." ... dude, step outside, get some air, stop posting, you're going to obligate me to wipe out Giddings Mall, and I wasn't even sure we were going to egg the cars in the parking lot until you started this nonsense. Seriously, do the Mall a favor, and don't post here any more.
--Vito 01:56, 11 July 2007 (GMT)

Like I said I don't care anymore I'm done with groups and all that crap so you can have the mall and all of Malton for all I care but just don't cross paths with me ingame because all I care about is the building I'm in which it will change alot so really I don't care aslong as I'm not indanger now so f off I'm done.--Major Striker 03:00, 11 July 2007 (BST)

That's nice, dear. We'll definately try not to cross paths with you or the building you're in. I mean, you're a Major! How are we supposed to fight that? It's not like a horde of a few hundred zombies stands a chance against a Major. I guess we'll just have to go into hiding now.--Panthera 03:39, 11 July 2007 (BST)
Save your sarcasism as it doesn't matter I've quited the game and have made sure none of you all ever get the joy of killing me because I'm a body that will never stand up so there nothing you can do to me and I'm sure you all will get beat so I quit knowing that you all won't be around long as all mega-hordes seem to disolve so thats all I have to say. --Major Striker 03:46, 11 July 2007 (BST)
Yeah, that's such a shame. One guy not being a target for us is certainly going to be a horrible tragedy. We'll starve to death without that one brain! Also, whether we get beat or not is irrelevant, you quitting means that YOU will never beat us, and that's a nice thought.--Panthera 03:52, 11 July 2007 (BST)
This is my last comment on here as I'm getting tired of this fucking shit. I've quited because this game is so boring now I can't find anything to do. You never beat me and never will and I can care less about you nerd asses now as I've got a life playing high school football and then going into law enforcement after that so good bye I no longer need this game to keep occupied.--Major Striker 03:55, 11 July 2007 (BST)
Dear me, you guys scared that little duckling out of the game without ever getting anywhere near him. And he thinks you didn't beat him.--Jiangyingzi 05:23, 11 July 2007 (BST)
I think he may have 'quited' school too. OR at least paying attention there. Because his grammar truly sucks. 'arm. 05:45, 11 July 2007 (BST)

...Damn, I would've liked to see LUE eat you Major. Apparently my suspicions of yo were confirmed. Football and a COP!? Holy hell! That's some life you got there... Anyway, Me being a survivor and you being a horde makes us natural enemies. Buuuut, I applaud you for your work so far. (especially getting him to quit. If we weren't enemies I'd so love you.) It's very impressive Especially since I've witnessed even the most hardened survivors flee once they heard you arrived. Giddings is waiting for you. It's been too long since we had a mall siege. I look forward to it. - Carl Wolfhiem 04:01, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Boring and nothing to do? I heard of this zombie horde called LUE around Creedy, maybe you should try attacking them? It would be good for some excitement, at least. In between parts of your busy life, of course.--Panthera 04:05, 11 July 2007 (BST)
Just wanted to say,I seriously recommend avoiding Giddings mall, not sure theres anything worth killing (no important people anywho) there are alot (i mean ALOT) of armed people and while you were able to take out a fort thats preety spaced out you have a bunch of people clustered together.Of course its not confirmed! but its seriously implied that you will, and im preety sure you wouldnt wanna be so predictable.--Someguy5031 07:35, 11 July 2007 (BST)
I highly recommend an attack on Giddings, as well as a subsequent slaughter of the harmanz cowering within. The gene pool deserves to be purified. --Goolina Gore Corps 10:24, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Well, if the Giddings defenders can kick us out of both ransacked quads tonight or in the morning, I'll be impressed. But seeing as how survivors are reliant on supplies to withstand a siege, even larger group numbers won't help you guys in the long run, since you just use too much AP. Hope you put up a good fight, but we WILL win in the next few days at the most. Good luck and all of that. - Brona 03:23, 12 July 2007 (BST)

No worries, we'll give you a good fight. Even if we leave the mall we got a lot of good buildings around it to hide in. Much like rats we humans are. - Carl Wolfhiem 04:18, 12 July 2007 (BST)

Not holding back

The dedicated protectors of Giddings mall will not retreat, even if it means becoming one of you. But even in death, I will continue to fight as a rotting corpse. Carry on. --Vault 15:27, 12 July 2007 (BST)

LUE Sucks

This is the start of the Anti-LUE page. Post your comments and suggestions to stopping the glorious and awe-inspiring zombie horde that is LUE.

  • LUE killed my father, raped my mother, and molested my sister (she's only 12!). I was staying at Nichols Mall, and they kicked our asses. Then I got revived and ran to Hildebrand Mall, and they kicked our asses again. Then I went to Giddings Mall and taunted LUE by telling them it was impregnable, but then they kicked our asses there, too. Finally, I grabbed my katana and went to Caiger where I role-played on the radio for a month telling them how much we were going beat those douchebags right out of the game, but they kicked our asses in under a day. Those guys sure do suck. :(--Insomniac By Choice 07:30, 18 August 2007 (BST)
  • LUE supports PedoBear, RapeSpider, BDSM, ESRB, and they said bad things about your mother. They also leave backwash in drinks, hate mudkipz, and steal the free soap from hotels. The only way to stop them is to give in to Anonymous's demands and start the practice of Kitten Huffing.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 07:52, 18 August 2007 (BST)
Those bad things about your mother are true, though.--Jorm 17:19, 18 August 2007 (BST)

    • Once, the LUE decided it would be fun to get me drunk. They did, and when I fell asleep, they dunked my hand in my own blood, peed all over me, THEN ate my brains. Damn the LUE. Damn them to whatever hell exsists in Urban Dead.--HeavyDead 08:46, 18 August 2007 (BST)
  • I say we kick their LUEser asses by shooting their stupid rotting asses back to GameFAQs. Every time they stand, pump more bullets into them. Shoot them in revive points. Shoot them when they're in PDs. KOS all the bastards. Do this for Urban Dead. We must stop the LUE menace. Long live RI!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mr. Zed (talkcontribs) 00:22, 18 August 2007.
  • LUE is a communist invasion force. They seek to crush the economic stability of the honest, hard-working Maltonian populace. Are we going to let LUE carry on hating our freedom? I think not!--Panthera 22:54, 18 August 2007 (BST)
  • LUE killed my whole family in Pole Mall. I will never forgive them for removing my freedom to shop! Everywhere I go, I get clawed at by who else but LUE! KOS all the bastards is right! Sig Sauer.jpg P02 Samuel  Talk to me! Stop that asshole!PoleCatsSig Sauer.jpg 15:14, 11 September 2007 (BST)

The Final Straw

Now you've done it. It was bad that you guys had to go and organizae such a large group, or gone on your own little "mall tour," but I was willing to tolerate it. But no, you weren't satisfied with wrecking an otherwise good game, you have to go and defecate on it with your "First Ruin of Caiger Mall," effectively writting yourselves into the Wikistory books.

I'm not putting up with it anymore. You, all of you, plus anyone who DARES to use the Suggestions section is on notice. As one of you so eloquently said "LUE brought change to the game, and change is BAD." Well, I've done some thinking, and I've decided Mr. Mortis was correct. I've founded my own group called "The Changeback Society." We are devoted to undoing all the evil changes made to the Urban Dead game, and LUE and Swiers are at the top of our list.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. --Indio65 01:38, 22 August 2007 (BST)

I was out on the beach today, and all of this sand gave me a yeast infection. If only I had something to clean it out. Oh look.

LUE are cheaters, They talk about spying being wrong yet they use human spies themselves, wierd. Also they are cheaters who use scripts to make the game use their AP faster than the game can refresh, Bastards, Anyone can win when they cheat like that. Fuck LUE. BenderWaW 02:23, 26 August 2007 (BST)

You have no idea what you're talking about, dipshit. - Brona 02:32, 26 August 2007 (BST)
You certainly have a point about using human scouts, and even some zombie groups, notably the RRF and MOB would agree with you, but even you see the difference between looking at population numbers and infiltrating a group's community solely to release information about the time and location of their attacks. Which would be considered bad form, but if that's going to happen, we'll find ways to deal with it via misinformation. That's all that section is about. As for the other thing, you're being a fucking idiot. You obviously don't know it, but during the attack we're affected at least as much by lag and being "unable to connect to server" as survivors. It only happens because so many of us are on at one time. When we're not all on at one time, this doesn't happen.--Insomniac By Choice 02:49, 26 August 2007 (BST)
Hey, BenderWaW, have you been told you're a fucking dipshit in the last five minutes? No? Because you are. --McTrout 03:13, 28 August 2007 (BST)

The Group Numbers?

Just wondering, on the stats page it says you have 142 members. So are the 400+ just numbers you pulled out of nowhere for the sake of amusement or are you counting Ferals or members of other groups striking with you?--karek 03:55, 21 June 2007 (BST)

Betty's Page

Barhah Betty! That's awesome. Is anyone keeping a record of her broadcasts? At least some highlights? She may well need her own wiki page eventually, and a few greatest hits would be just the thing to spice it up.--Jiangyingzi 10:17, 4 July 2007 (BST)

I believe several LUEsers who have monitored her broadcasts have saved some of her monologues; it's possible, as time goes on, that she'll get her own private corner of the wiki.
--Vito Mortis

I second this, Barhah Betty, was chilling and funny to read as the Undead rained down upon me inside Ackland Mall. There should be a Wiki Page made that shows full records of her broadcasts. --XxPale HorsexX 00:14, 8 July 2007 (BST)

Oh, hey, would it be possible for Betty to announce which frequency she's broadcasting on here on the LUE wiki page? I lost her after Hildebrand.--Jiangyingzi 05:22, 11 July 2007 (BST)
If you've followed the radiant Barhah Betty for a while, you'd know she likes to broadcast on random frequencies and then the malls dedicated to said random frequencies mysteriously get devoured.--pandemonium
Right, thus it's hard for her fans to keep track. Since Betty never lies, posting her frequency on the wiki shortly before or right after she makes an official broadcast (signed by a known LUEser so people know it's authentic) wouldn't hurt anything. It would also clear up some of the confusion spread by the various Betty wannabes clogging up the airwaves.--Jiangyingzi 04:06, 22 July 2007 (BST)

LUE's Policy on Zombie spying/Pking/GKing?

Hello, this is friendly greeting to LUE from a Feral Undead zombie. I just wanted to know, does LUE have any specific policy on the usage/nonusage of "dishonorable" tactics - like using Zombie spies or Pking or Gking? -- Mordac the Refuser 20:34, 13 July 2007 (BST)

PKing isn't a dishonorable tactic. It's a part of the game. Simple. If you don't like it, fine, but don't call it dishonorable. Sorry for butting in.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 20:42, 13 July 2007 (BST)
Note the air quotes around "dishonorable." Personally, I don't have much of an opinon on Pking. - Mordac the Refuser 20:46, 13 July 2007 (BST)
:). Oh, and you just had to have your vote first huh?:P/ Okay. I'm done spamming now. Later.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 21:05, 13 July 2007 (BST)
You had the words dishonorable, and PK in the same sentence. It gets me angry. Grrrrrr. And also, I just woke up, so my eyesight isn't that great yet (as in I couldn't see them). You know what I mean right? How when you first wake up your damn near blind?-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 20:55, 13 July 2007 (BST)
We actually pay attention to other zombies that decide to munch on us, most of the time its survivors that we just killed, but every once in a while we find a random zombie not affiliated with us that decides to munch of us. Usually we add that person to our contact list and give him out to our lower level zombies that might have abundant AP and needs some exp. TheNeoianOne 14:55, 13 July 2007 (PST)
Define spying, everyone has their own interpretation, so which one are you asking us about?--Malkav 22:57, 13 July 2007 (BST)
I just go by the wiki's definition of a zombie spy . But I'm also talking about zombies who deliberately get themselves revived for the purpose of actively damaging survivor defenses. -- Mordac the Refuser 23:54, 13 July 2007 (BST)
You mean like the Gore Corps? All I can say is, if the harmanz don't like it, they shouldn't random revive. It's not hard to use a DNA scanner, so there's no excuse for not using it. --Goolina Gore Corps 01:42, 14 July 2007 (BST)
Well, you gotta remember that alot of those random revivers are silly, thoughtless sheep.:)-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 01:50, 14 July 2007 (BST)
If anyone revives a level 22 zombie with only two human skills (free running and body building), I figure they deserve to be spied on. But that's just my personal opinion, not group policy.--Insomniac By Choice 05:34, 14 July 2007 (BST)

Are Board 8ers allowed?

"Caiger Mall has been breached in the northwest corner. over 140 zombies are feisting right now inside the Mall, only 20 survivors are standing as I write this. LUE will the first horde to ruin Caiger Mall. --Jakio 01:21, 17 August 2007 (BST)"

Uh, Caiger has fallen a couple times now. You guys are the third or fourth, not the first. I suppose that will be corrected by the time you read this, but y'know, just giving the heads up. Redwave 05:18, 17 August 2007 (BST)

We're the first to use the ruin feature on caiger. --SomaJaust 05:36, 17 August 2007 (BST)
Ruin. That was the key word. Not that we planned it that way; just sort of happened. --McTrout 05:41, 17 August 2007 (BST)
Yep. We were being literal, not hyperbolic.--Insomniac By Choice 06:19, 17 August 2007 (BST)
Has anyone defeated Caiger faster? What's the record time right now? --pandemonium

Truly unfortunate that it wasn't the mega-siege people were hoping for. Survivors have been really demoralized lately, and not really trying to defend themselves. Most just leave when they see a horde coming. --Yiddish

Tough to leave when you're on the ground dead.--Insomniac By Choice 22:40, 17 August 2007 (BST)

Oh, well then. I stand corrected. Ummm... END COMMUNICATION! Redwave 01:36, 20 August 2007 (BST)

Barhah/Baghdad Betty

http://www.psywarrior.com/iraqprop.html. I just saw this site. Sounds like Barhah Betty came all the way from Baghdad. Sig Sauer.jpg P02 Samuel  Talk to me! Stop that asshole!PoleCatsSig Sauer.jpg 10:07, 18 August 2007 (BST)

What's happening to the horde?

It seems each day the LUE horde shows fewer and fewer members. I enjoy the fact that LUE is making it more difficult to play the role of survivor, and am afraid that the LUE horde is already spent. --8 Bucks 22:12, 31 August 2007 (BST)

Gee, because we didn't just smash Treweekee and a whole 30 of us don't have pole on the verge of collapse, obviously we're a spent force. Shaggy123 16:39, 1 September 2007 (BST)
"Horde". We aren't a bunch of Jewish dragons.--Insomniac By Choice 22:03, 1 September 2007 (BST)
We aren't? *looks at kosher elf-meat*--McTrout 02:06, 2 September 2007 (BST)
Yes, I corrected my spelling. "Hoarde" didn't look right, but I didn't bother to check. At any rate, the horde gets smaller each day. Fewer and fewer members are listed, in the game stats page. Not that we need more zombies out there at this point, but I was curious if LUE is losing momentum. --8 Bucks 16:51, 5 September 2007 (BST)
LUE has been losing members ever since it took Caiger because there's simply no challenge anymore. -- Mordac the Refuser 21:07, 7 September 2007 (BST)
Some settling is to be expected in a horde like LUE. Some players are just tourists, no matter what group they are or aren't affiliated with. If LUE's leadership wants to keep the horde together it will stay together. Although they've lost numbers, they've gained skills, in-game reputation, and of course maintained the close coordination of their strike times, which is by far their most fearsome trait.--Jiangyingzi 23:08, 7 September 2007 (BST)

That's what we're here for, having fun, preferably with people who enjoy having us around--Panthera 23:15, 21 August 2007 (BST)
So the same thing happened to you Bloodclott? I just went to Pole Mall. Within seconds, I was torn apart by one of these guys. When I get revived... Sig Sauer.jpg P02 Samuel  Talk to me! Stop that asshole!PoleCatsSig Sauer.jpg 12:07, 9 September 2007 (BST)

"Frankly, you're lucky..."

"...we weren't able to get 2,000 or so - and one day maybe we will just to make the point."

I'd just like to mention that I would LOVE to see this happen. With 2000 active members you could split into ten or twelve separate hordes and give Malton a hot zombie rogering like it has never seen. It would be absolutely glorious, the best thing to ever happen in this game. Make the point, LUE!--Jiangyingzi 03:20, 22 August 2007 (BST)

"42"

It's forty two, ok? Now please go away...please... (I read the Hitchhiker series too many times and couldn't resist.) TerminalFailure

If you're referring to the "402" number inside joke for our membership, that isn't a DIRECT reference to the book. Gamefaqs numbers its boards in a way that double digit ID numbers are no longer given to social boards. We used to have the ID 42, but then it became 402 when things were changed. We do in fact know our source material. - Brona 06:12, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Victory!

Yes! I knew it! It was a long time coming, but at last we of The Changeback Society have won in our long feud with LUE! You best stay out too, lest we-- oh, bugger, my character's died again. Er, hold that thought I need to find a revive point. Of course, people seem less and less willing to revive me these days. I can't imagine why. -Indio65 03:13, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

If by "win" you mean have absolutely no effect on the outcome, then sure. You and France in WW2 ARE WINNAR. Actually, that doesn't work, because there was an actual conflict involved there. Anyway, have fun with The Dead while we're on vacation. - Brona 01:38, 4 April 2008 (BST)
