You know I am surprised that you would allow yourself to become a tool for certain users (who are all friends or sockpuppets) and actually agree with them. "Satirical Suggestion Ideas Can you stop making them please?" Are you saying my suggestions are ridiculous? Or are you just repeating Tselita's ideas? What grounds do you have to tell me to stop making suggestions? Are my suggestions unrealistic? Do they convey a certain humor in them? In my opinion, the numbers I put up Talk:Suggestions#NailGuns_Clean_Skylights was both well thought out and balanced; which is rather rare on the suggestion page. Or are you saying that once someone "claims" an idea, that it can never be rehashed by another user? It was obvious that the poor survivors didn't like the overpowered dark update. My idea was simply a more balanced one than the previous two. As far as my Talk:Suggestions#Toolbox_equals_Tangling_Grasp suggestion, I can show you a lot of suggestions that are not half as thought out as that one. Just because I like to throw in humor to sway my intended audience, my entire suggestion is worthless? The idea that you can tell me that my suggestions are "take(ing) up space" from "other, proper suggestions" is the epitome of what is wrong with this wiki. Right now, how many "proper suggestions" are on the suggestion page and also show me the warning you gave every user who did not fall into your "proper suggestions" definition. In closing, let me just quote Nubis, "With the state of the suggestions these days it is hard if not impossible to tell what is humorous and what is trying to be legit." -- LABIA on the INTERNET Dunell Hills Corpseman #24 - |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| TMG 23:52, 2 June 2008 (BST)
Arbitration question
Would taking people like Gardenator and DrPain to arbitration help at all? I'm not sure if it would, especially since some arbitrators like Nubis and Karek seem to be clearly biased (see what's going on in the Talk:Suggestions page with the 'Nailguns Clean Skylights' suggestion Gardenator made. Or should I just try Arbitration against the entire Malton Globetrotters since they tend to all do the same thing - Gardenator, DrPain, and DCC just being the most vocal and blatant ones (and people like Riseabove and Cryptosporidium using gifs specifically to harass me on suggestions) What's the point of my not going straight to voting if they're going to use Talk:Suggestion as a place to spam and troll with insults no matter what? Ignoring them isn't seeming to make a difference. Advice sought - thanks. --Tselita 19:17, 2 June 2008 (BST)
Okay and now they're accusing me of being a sock puppet. This is the second time they've done it - the first time was when they said I was Kamikaze-Bunny because I defended his suggestion. Now someone else is saying stuff on my suggestion and they're again accusing me. Please do something about this - they're clearly trolling for anything I say, and flame wars are starting over this - even when I'm not saying anything at all. The stupid mockery-suggestions need to stop --Tselita 19:59, 2 June 2008 (BST)

Nailguns v2.0
Okay since there are, according to most people, about 11 sock puppets voting on my suggestion (and apparently on several other people's suggestions as well), I'm taking down my suggestion and putting up v2.0. Can you or someone else help me to figure out how to take down the original suggestion - the last time I did was at the beginning of voting, not near the end, and I'm a bit ticked off about what has happened --Tselita 07:11, 19 May 2008 (BST)

Question about signing
First of all, can't figure out your talk page. It says to use a level 3 header, but everyone is using a level 2, and then your sections start with a level 3, which makes the TOC very screwy. And it doesn't say whether to post at the top or bottom. Very confusing. But anyway, not why I'm here. I had a question about signing policy. Question about Trolling and possible dupe accounts
I've been seeing a lot of newly made wiki accounts (literally new - it's like they made the account solely to vote kill and spam, not sure if that means it's a double or what) and The Dead wiki accounts all going to my suggestion. Is there any way to find out if this is considered trolling or if it's someone making duplicate accounts? Thanks in advance.--Tselita 20:45, 8 May 2008 (BST)

I never even HEARD of DrPain, and he's never voted on anything I've made that I know of, and yet suddenly he's posting how 'another worthless Tselita suggestion'? Imagination
Ever wonder why Urban Dead has no images in game?
Its because the creator wants us to imagine it ourselves.
Putting an image on EVERYTHING will hinder it.
I mean would you like an image of that BIG FAT MAN stuck in your head while playing your fireman?
Do you want those (not all of them though) crappy looking image stuck in everybody's mind?
NO! I say no!
These images are only polluting our view of the game world
Let the creativity flow man!
This is a free game so it deserves a free mind
I'm the one who started putting images in them in the first place so I have the right to remove them as I please
Well except for the ones I didn't started
Besides its bad for Role Playing you know.
UDWIKI IS NOT AN IMAGE WHORE!!! --Loosermass 05:38, 5 May 2008 (BST)
- Those pictures don't worry me in the slightest, maybe i have such a good imagination other peoples images don't hinder my own experience...maybe not...Anyway for a fairly inactive user its a big call to remove all those pictures that have been there for a long time...you could have put your request/thoughts on the talk pages or something...--xoxo 05:46, 5 May 2008 (BST)

I don't care about that image being removed heck I'm happy they removed it! --Loosermass 06:28, 5 May 2008 (BST)
- I just don't think you should have neccisarily removed the item images without asking anyone, that's all. They do look a bit untidy, I guessbut you should have put your efforts to cleaning them up, not wiping them. Oh, and the fact that you posted the images does not give you the right to remove them all if you wish. Imagine if whoever came up with the dangermap system thought the same way?--SeventythreeTalk 10:06, 5 May 2008 (BST)

Thank you
Thank you for reverting Diablo's edit to AHLG's sig. I was trying to revert it, but I just couldn't get it to go. Anyway, if I read your page right it looks like you might be leaving? Hopefully it's only temporary! It'll be a sad day when you leave, as I think you have been a really great contributor to the wiki in a, shall we say, variety of ways? Cheers --Ryiis 22:36, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I think that was perfect - as everything else wasn't working. It seemed to me like it was a direct attack on the wiki. I won't go into the details, but thankfully there is a system (intended or not) in place that limited what replacing his sig template would have done. It's good though that you aren't leaving. You are definately one of the few on this wiki that I consider 'senior' in the sense that you seem to know what you are doing, and you try to make this wiki better. Stuff like this needs to be fixed by someone after all ;-) --Ryiis 22:45, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
For me, that would have to be one monumental screw-up; which would also require a monumental explanation. Though, that is one of your best traits: seeing the good side in many of the users here on the Wiki. What comes to mind is your interactions with Nali, and attempting to help mitigate the damage he was doing to himself. I'll be straight out honest, I found him rather obnoxious after a time. That's where you come in. Despite all the things that were going on, you managed to steer clear of a lot of the drama, and you tried to help him out. It's a really honorable thing to do in my books, and I am sure you have done it countless other times for a variety of users here on the Wiki. --Ryiis 22:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Sad to see you're off for a bit, mate. It'll be a lot less fun without you. Also, where will all the spam get put? Btw, you might want to get your talkpage protected if you want to be able to load it on your returen :)
I agree that it's getting a bit dull round here at the moment, even the drama is boring drama. Also, I hear Suggestions is about to be moved under Jon Pyre's Userpage. Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure both me and Darkmagic have agreed that you would probably be the most impartial choice of arbitor. Thanks for the offer of services. So I guess let's get this movable feast on the road?--Screw Names 02:13, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Is there some sort of time limit on how long I can take to reply to this (this being what you've said ont eh arby page, etc.)? I've got to do some RL stuff, and don't really have the time to put out a formal statement at the moment. It would be up by this time tomorrow, however.--Screw Names 02:27, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Alright, thanks for the good descision. It's honest, and I figure it's alot fairer to everyone than the other Arbitors might have been, and despite the fact that Darkmagic is probably the only person I've ever met online who I can say really bothers me, fair always should come before vengeance, no? I've posted our official response under your ruling. Hopefully we'll talk again under a bit better circumstances some time!--Screw Names 04:01, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I wrote a response on the Arby talk page, but it looks like it was archived before you read it. Anyway, we think this is a great idea, as long as we can pick what we want it to say etc. etc. Also, we aren't exactly the most Wiki-savvy bunch around, so we'd have to ask you or SA for a hand with that. As I also said on the arbitration page, we think a disambiguation page might be a good idea, as there are plenty of groups involving the word "revolution" on the wiki (I had links to at least three).--Screw Names 20:25, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Well, I'm sort of trying to not post on his page to ask him these things, as per your ruling, but I'd say it's safe to assume he has not, and probably won't. The way I see it, you should probably get permission to put those links on our pages (and you can certainly put one on ours, like I said), but it seems to me that if you want to make a disambiguation page, then it doesn't really matter when it comes to individual opinions. After all, it affects more than just our and his group. So perhaps rather than sending the link to his page, just have it read "Viva La Revolucion" (or whatever) leads here. If you were looking for an obviously false Capitalist Lie which also claims to be the One True Revolution, try here, or something similar to that, with the link leading to the disambig page rather than his. That's just my thoughts on it, at least.--Screw Names 00:57, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Right. Time for some order.
- My talkpage has finaly got to the extent where I cannot actualy read it at all. Therefore I will, in future have two sections. The upper section, under the heading of King Murek's Army is for any correspodance between me and any of the representatives of the Dulston alliance, Pescodise Alliance and any other KMA related Communications. The section below that is for other, wiki-based discussions.
Try to use a level 3 header (===) when starting new topics, try to post at the top of the section relevent. Thanks!
- I don't particuarly mind the occasional typo, or grammar error, after all I make enougth myself. Anyone using ALL CAPS LOCK LIKE THIS, leetspeek, too many lols or anything else that makes what they write a pain to read and understand will have their comments deleted and will not be replied to. Just wanted to offer a thank you for both your time and your ruling. Plus, thanks for not being being an arsehole about the whole thing unlike some people who I won't mention. Cheers.--Scurley7 09:04, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. Will definitely remember this for future rulings.--MichaelRead 12:03, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Arbitration Case
I just thought you should be informed, Nalikill has requested that his user_talk page be protected. As such you probably won't be able to message him there.--Karekmaps?! 04:42, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
WRT to Nalikill's arbitration of my case. I wasn't actually invested in it, as my effort might have indicated, or people might have assumed. The impetus was me seeing the Neutral Point of View warning on the South Blythville page, then just happening to notice TZH as Pro-survivor, which I obviously disagree with. So, I changed it. (They may be A survivor group, but it's pretty hard to see them as pro-survivor in my eyes.) Kind of a throw away little thing, which I wouldn't have even noticed if they hadn't spammed up my talk page which caused the messages notice. Since it was Nalikill's first case, it probably all works out. He gets to make his mistakes, where people (or at least me) aren't invested in the outcome. I was simply curious about the process, which is why I followed his suggestion on my talk page. In a strange sort of way, isn't this exactly how wikis are supposed to work? Even if he was fishing for his first case, it's hard to see how things didn't work out for the best. Given some of the commentary in your ruling, I thought it was worth mentioning, whatever the flaws (which I obviously don't fully appreciate) there weren't any hard feelings, or anything like that at the result. No harm no foul as they say. The thing with Boxy and IP addresses, pretty well disgusts me though, but whatever.--Jack's Cold Sweat 21:05, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
It seems in your case that you agree the Nali's case he arbitrated on was incorrectly handled. There is, however, some vagueness on whether the case is still binding and what notice there will be if it isn't. There is some discussion on the matter on the Arbitration Talk Page, just thought I'd let you know. Also, thank's for the congrats, now get to work, Chop Chop!--Karekmaps?! 07:53, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Where did the pictures go?
Hi; you help me before with my signature and some other stuff, I think. Anyway I was looking at the Items page and for all the links to said items pages; you know Assorted/Misc Items, Melee Weapons whatever. They don't have any pictures in them any more for each item. Did you sysops guys get rid of them to save space, or did someone take them out with out asking?--Jamie Cantwel3 Talk 05:00, 4 May 2008 (BST)

I have looked over other user's code and work out how to add links to other pages I run. My user page and such; any way I was looking at your signature on your signature page and came up with this for me signature.

Arbitration Case
Hello there, I am thinking of starting an Arbitration case against User:Xela798 for the majority of useless rubbish which constantly surrounds their group Sinclair Hotels and their bad wiki skills. I have examples and evidence of these but I feel as though I may 'spam' your page with them if I put them here, so yes if you are willing to be Arby for this case I'll take it forward, if not then fair enough, I shall find someone else. But thank you for reading. I'm also just going to take this opportunity to say sorry for stealing some of the code on your user page to put in mine, heh if you want I can get some other sutff for it and remove yours but your page was good 'inspiration' for it. Acoustic Pie 18:50, 24 April 2008 (BST)
- No problem, I wish you all the best in your RL stuff. As with everything RL comes first! Still I appreciate your coolness with the coding, much obliged. Still I'll go around and have a look for some more people to Arby the case. Once again cheers and good luck. Acoustic Pie 23:22, 24 April 2008 (BST)

- Pretty good. remember, for the most part the police exist in everyone's head. It's the idea of the police force that stop people commiting crimes, not the actual physical presence of the police. After all, even in America, even if every cop was armed with the very best guns available they wouldn't actualy be able to stop a determined enougth group of people from commiting crimes or revolution. When we take part in a society, we agree to accept the rulings of that society, part of which takes the place of a social contract allowing a police system to maintain control over what we do.... and oh god stop me, I've done way too much studying.....--SeventythreeTalk 22:58, 15 April 2008 (BST)

Problem
Having a major problem with DCC and Karek. Again. Check the Memories of Life NT Update suggestion and Talk:Discussion. I'm losing track of all the different curse words and namecalling they're using in place of rational debate. Apparently when they're losing an argument, they become Morton Downey Jr. or a guest on Jerry Springer. Plus now DCC is saying he's gonig to troll my suggestions in particular. Suggestions on what to do? Do I bring this to arbitration or what? I'd really like them to act with a modicum of civility, but if they can't, I'd like to assure that they actually need to give valid reasonings? --Tselita 03:58, 26 April 2008 (BST)
- Wouldn't be a problem if you could keep the people who don't like your suggestion seperate in your head. Stop acting like a petulant child and I stop treating you like one, I'm not going to arbitration over you not being able to take criticism without demeaning the criticizer and then whining about it because you get the same gun turned on you. And much less so because you don't like the reasons your given for why someone is voting how they are voting. Grow Up.--Karekmaps?! 04:04, 26 April 2008 (BST)
Arbitration
I'd like to do something about DCC and Riseabove. The situation with them is getting out of hand. They're not only trolling and lambasting me for any suggestion I make, now they're also slamming anyone who agrees with me (or even anyone who disagrees but isn't a total a-hole about it). Please recall that they started this whole fight with me by cursing me out and with the namecalling. What is the procedure for taking something to arbitration or trying to get someone banned (not that they probably care about that anyway). Thanks in advance. --Tselita 22:07, 2 May 2008 (BST)
