Tank Tops / Sleeveless shirt

For the shirt slot. Found in all the standard colours at malls, towers, fire stations, police stations and forts. Forts could have their own khaki flavour tank tops.

Mrh? T-Shirt

Pretty simple actually, if you ever looked at the UD Merchandise you know what I'm talking about, if you didnt, or don't quite remember it, is this. A plain T-shirt with Mrh? written clearly on the front. Why do you ask? To save your rotten breath the next time you find yourself at the local revivification point. I think it should be in some of the Necrotech Buildings not all of them, but that's kevan decision-- Che -T GC X 08:58, 8 June 2007 (BST)

Note: this is one way to do it "home made", not counting permanent marker and a stencil-- Che -T GC X 00:45, 10 June 2007 (BST)

Yes

  1. Author vote-- Che -T GC X 08:58, 8 June 2007 (BST)
  2. I really like this self-referencing easter-egg style idea. Maybe only available to people who have bought shirts from Kevan? armareum 10:27, 8 June 2007 (BST)
  3. I'm for it, but they should be very rare. Like lets say they can only be found in one building, and that building changes every month or so.--Wee Sonny MacGregor 21:21, 8 June 2007 (BST)
  4. If the shirt is found along the lines typed by Wee Sonny MacGregor. Or maybe only available during the anniversary of the game.--1337p5yc0 06:13, 9 June 2007 (BST)
  5. -- I like this idea --Lord Evans 07:55, 9 June 2007 (BST)
  6. A definite! Perhaps they could be "a t-shirt with the word 'Mrh?' scribbled on it" to appease the nay-sayers. MolotovH 17:30, 9 June 2007 (BST)
  7. I could definately see someone taking different colored shirts and writing 'Mrh?' on them with markers and trying to sell them to make money after the outbreak started. I agree though that the location would need to be shifting or 1)some people would never get one because its too far away and 2)people/zombies would be killing people in that area just so they wouldnt get the shirts. --Sephikus T 11:55, 10 June 2007 (BST)
  8. Vista, the game needs funny things sometimes. Also kilts have been added to a mall as a joke before. Why not a t-shirt that mispells moo? =P 11:40, 11 June 2007 (BST)
It's the players that make the game funny. And it is not a misspel of 'moo', it is a cry for revivification. Zeds wanting to be survivors can't do anything other than stand there like cattle and wait for a needle. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 23:58, 12 June 2007 (BST)
  9. I fully intended to vote "no" for this, until I read Wee Sonny's post above. That is just wicked cool. If they could do it as an ultra-rare, and people did not know where they would show up, I'd say yes, otherwise, it's just too in-jokey!--Reen 05:32, 13 June 2007 (BST)
  10. I want one. --Uncle Bill 02:32, 15 June 2007 (BST)
  11. Mrh? No, I want it first! --JudeMaverick Talk +1 Jobs 07:34, 16 June 2007 (BST)
  12. Despite the tongue-in-cheek nature of the suggestion, I actually see a use for this. What if a savvy survivor began making these as trade items for supplies? The shirt would be a device for advertising a desire for revivification, in case you ended up undead. I can see an enterprising individual without any useful survival skills doing just that. -- Diano 00:44, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
  13. Mrh? ROCK ON!

No

  1. To much an in game joke. And where would they come from. Mrh? wouldn't have been known before the zombie outbreak and couldn't have been produced afterwards.-- Vista  +1  16:42, 8 June 2007 (BST)
Well It's a cheap way for necrotech to help during the outbreak, and some supplies have come into the city, I was thinking that it should be restrickted to 1 NT a famous one like blackmore or wantmore-- Che -T GC X 04:35, 9 June 2007 (BST)
Mrh? cows are horrible genre busting and a development in the game I want to remove not endorse. If it isn't meant as an in-game joke but as Mrh? cow aid, I'd vote spam if I could.-- Vista  +1  13:07, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Of course it's an in game joke Vista (one I thought it was funny, but apparently not)-- Che -T GC X 23:15, 10 June 2007 (BST)
  2. It would be kinda kool but no, and Vista, newpapers are still production so why not clothes? June 8 2007 J. Inman
Newspaper are far more easy to produce and print then t-shirts. All you need for a newspaper is pen and paper and patience or a dozen different printing possibilities. Making T-shirts require a lot more specific facilities.-- Vista  +1  14:52, 9 June 2007 (BST)

Basketball Jerseys

Rodges Stadium was not only home to the Malton Sticks hockey team, but to the Malton Rippers basketball team as well! Therefore, I suggest Rodges Stadium also contain basketball jerseys.

(As a matter of full disclosure, I am responsible for most of the content on the Malton Rippers page, but their existence was established before I ever came to town.)

Writing on T-shirts

Che13 got me thinking with the Mrh? Shirt...What if we could write on the T-shirts? Maybe just on the white ones though. I couldn't think of a way to write on it, though I'd assume there would be enough blood around to make something legible. :) -Zed Ed 23:48, 9 June 2007 (BST)

  1. I honestly think its better to just write whatever we want the shirt to say in the description so we arent limited to just words. Like my zed character always paints a sigil of baphomet on his shirt so once i get him a black t-shirt im gonna change my description to say 'His shirt has a sigil of baphomet painted on it with what looks like blood'. I mean its like the 250 letter limit is such a problem now that we don't have to add the clothes to the descriptions. --Sephikus T 12:08, 10 June 2007 (BST)

Detailed T-shirts

Well first the obvious, they would go in the shirt slot. they can be in two colours heres an example "wearing a yellow t-shirt with MRH? printed in big black words". also there could just be patterns like "wearing a black shirt with a red (possibly geo-metric) pattern printed across it" or ofcourse the classic "wearing a black shirt with "I Looted Caiger Mall and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt" printed in green". found in malls and possibly towers or hotels. Maybe put on badges too. The same could be done with pants but first I'll see what you think of this. Lingere / Lingere store

Most malls have one or two lingere stores, and so should one of the malls in Malton. Lingere would generally go in the shirt or maybe trousers slots, because if you are wearing a normal shirt or trousers, people would not be able to see it. I'll leave the exact types up to the imagination, but the general focus would be on classy items suitable for PG public exposure; think "Madonna video", not "bachelor party gag gift". Location wise, Lumber Mall could use the traffic boost this would bring.

  4. Ha! I love this suggestion for two reasons
  1. It brings back memories of an awesome Father Ted episode which I saw once about a dozen priests being lost in the lingere department
  2. Being the founder of Lumber Mall Security I totally agree with the minor flavour traffic boost which it would bring here, it'd be nice to have a thong thing of our own.

I'm guessing that people would say it's slightly innapropriate for a game to have one of these, but as a counter I would say that all malls that I have ever seen have one. So why not in Urban Dead? Acoustic Pie 19:16, 13 May 2008 (BST)

  2. Nah. 1) It's a dupe. 2) it'll be used by people wanting either a "comedy" profile (underwear? way too obvious) or a "sexy" profile (realy, no thanks.) 3) It's a dupe 4) I don't realy feel that people would be running around in their underwear during a zombie apocalypse in a city that suffers at least 3 months of heavy snow with no central heating.--SeventythreeTalk 23:21, 14 May 2008 (BST)

Sleeveless Shirts

This is only a minor addition to the clothing list. Since we have t-shirts, short-sleeved shirts, and long-sleeved shirts, why not have sleeveless shirts/tank tops available in malls? I was actually surprised that this wasn't an option when I joined the game, and I don't think it would be a big stretch to add it in. --Fujiko Mine 02:34, 30 March 2009 (BST)

The Merch Shirts

How about shirts from the Urban Dead online shop? (If this has been suggested already, I apologize.) Sure it's a bit fourth-wall breaking, but it's amusing nonetheless. They'd likely to be found in malls for the most part, with the exception of 'I looted/survived Caiger Mall', which, of course, can only be found in one place. --Parakirby 08:14, 27 April 2009 (BST)

Band Shirts

Shirts advertising bands. Maybe make them customizable, maybe not I don't know. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to use real bands, but I think either fictional band names or generic descriptors (i.e. "a shirt bearing the name of a(n) popular/obscure/other adjective [list of genres here] band") could work. Gay Pride T-Shirts

Pretty simple, obviously it would go in the shirt slot. There could be two versions: an all black shirt with the rainbow pride flag, or an all white shirt with the pride flag. If there can't be two, then defiantly the black one. And I was thinking the best place for it would in the Malls. And that's about it, what do you all think? --Lathome 15:23, 17 August 2008 (BST)

Thus, in spite of generally agreeing with Bob Fortune, below, about things like this... in this case, it'd be a great idea.
