This page is for the election of Bureaucrats.
Rules
- Rules for starting an election.
- When a Bureaucrat resigns, or loses his status due to demotion or inactivity an election is started immediately.
- A Bureaucrat that hasn't made a single edit in one month is considered to be inactive and forfeits their status as bureaucrat.
- After 3 months with no elections on a bureaucrat position, an election is called for the bureaucrat position longest without an election.
- If, for any reason, an individual Bureaucrat position hasn't faced an election after 12 months, then an election is called after that period.
- The election ends after two weeks wiki time counting from the when the election is started.
- The candidate with the most votes wins the election.
- In the event of a tied vote the remaining bureaucrats will decide between the tied candidates.
- Rules concerning candidates
- All active users with the sysops status are automatically declared candidates for any vacant Bureaucrat positions.
- Users with at least 12 edits in the 30 days before the election are considered "active" for purposes of the election.
- The Bureaucrat whose position comes up for election if said election is started under rule 2 of Rules for starting an election is automatically declared a candidate.
- Unless said otherwise, a bureaucrat who lost its powers through demotion cannot run for bureaucrat on the election that will fill its position
- A candidate can retract his own candidacy at any time.
- Rules concerning voting.
- All users have only one vote per bureaucrat position to be filled.
- Users vote for a candidate by signing under the preferred candidates name.
- Users can't cast more than one vote per candidate.
- Users may change their votes for a candidate as long as the election has not ended.
- Multiple votes at the same time will be struck.
- Sockpuppetry is considered vandalism.

Eligible Candidates
DanceDanceRevolution
- By far the best option. It's time to get DDR back where he belongs.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 22:34, 3 October 2010 (BST)
- Tough choice to make here. It was either this or Yonnua. But I think DDR has one very important thing going on, and that's experience. More then anyone else here. I also picture him to be a good partner to Rosslessness. Fit for the job, even if he isn't as active as in the past. (don't pull out saying you don't have the time, like the last crat election!) --Thadeous Oakley 22:35, 3 October 2010 (BST)
- I'd like to vote in favor of DDR. He has been a major help to me, and I really feel he should be given promotion. He and Yonnua are the most active in terms of community involvement (I've barely heard of Misanthropy, and hadn't heard of Red Hawk until a few days ago), But I really feel that DDR should definitely have the position. -Dezonus- (talk) 00:08, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- i can has cast vote !!! --People's Commissar Hagnat [talk] [wcdz] 00:21, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- I want to make it clear there is NO PRIZE for the best picture of DDR "partnering" me. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 00:30, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- But, a butt... 01:39, 4 October 2010 (BST)
RosslessnessThe wiki needs a caring and tenderpartnerlover during these dark times.-MHSstaff 01:18, 4 October 2010 (BST)- User:Whitehouse 12:33, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- This is a tough one, and I wish I could split my vote 2 ways, but I think I'll go with DDR this time around. Asheets 20:00, 4 October 2010 (BST)

- DDR is a great candidate. G F J 14:24, 6 October 2010 (BST)
- Dance2R has been very consistent in the past about sticking to his principles on official matters. I trust him to do what he thinks is right.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 08:55, 7 October 2010 (BST)
- Yaaaaaaaaarp. -- Cheese 16:10, 8 October 2010 (BST)

Misanthropy
- Misanthropy (talk | contribs)
- I'll start with the shortsighted mudslinging and then move on to the praise.
- DDR may have seniority, but he's far too impulsive, and I don't trust him to be an impartial counter-puppet in crat elections. Rather flammable.
- Red is easily the most trustworthy sop eligible, but his activity levels are inadequate: 500 edits in 3 months.
- Yon does have decent levels of activity and my trust, but he doesn't seem to be very interested in the wiki itself, but rather the community using it. Rarely corrects typos, elaborates on things, or any of the other things that make the wiki a better reference. He just chills here.
- Mis has long been active as fluck, has hosted an almost excessive amount of events, and has never challenged community consensus. I trust him more than any other candidate to act in the interest of Kevan, the community, and the encyclopedia that is this wiki. --VVV RPMBG 22:57, 3 October 2010 (BST)
- Red is too inactive recently. I still don't know enough of Yon to trust the crat buttons to him. So, it boils down to Mis vs DDR for me. In VB cases, Mis has been more heavily leaning towards enforcing the rules impartially (most blatantly in the Cornholioo cases), so I trust rather him to make good and fair use of the crat buttons. -- Spiderzed▋ 17:40, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- Mis seems to be the most reasonable candidate. He has the ability to act impartially which is sorely needed here on the Wiki. --Lois talk 10MFH 17:42, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- best out of what's left. seems very level headed and is a terrible columbine kid.----sexualharrison ¯\()/¯ 18:27, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- I think Misanthropy has shown exceptional dysfunctional administrative behaviors and he should rise to the level of his incompetence and be elected as a 'crat. Petite Fille 22:23, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- I don't know Red Hawk One, but out of the other three candidates Mis is the only one who's not a power hungry twat. - Goribus 23:14, 4 October 2010 (BST)
- Doesn't change rules--THE Godfather of Яesensitized, Anime Sucks Yalk | W! U! WMM| CC CPFOAS LOE ZHU | Яezzens 01:26, 5 October 2010 (BST)
- Bad for Columbine, good for the wiki. A pox and a promotion upon him! --Papa Moloch 03:05, 5 October 2010 (BST)
- He gave me a drink. Got my vote! --Akule Maker of fine, hand-crafted UDWiki sass since 2006 -- Akule School's back in session™ 23:42, 5 October 2010 (BST)
- After much dithering, I've decided to chuck my hat into this ring. I think overall Mis would make the best crat. ~~ Chief Seagull ~~ talk 09:29, 6 October 2010 (BST)
- While I heart DDR, Mis' considerations (below) made me laugh. A lot. --Karloth Vois ¯\(°_o)/¯ 16:54, 14 October 2010 (BST)
- The lesser of two evils.--T | BALLS! | 16:58 14 October 2010(UTC) |
- I vote for this gai --Suburban Ed 17:05, 14 October 2010 (BST)
- *stamps a seal of approval on misanthropy's forehead* --Banana reads Scoundrell for all of Yesterday's News, Today! 17:07, 14 October 2010 (BST)

I do not wish to be considered for promotion. —Aichon— 22:15, 3 October 2010 (BST)
- Too late, I already considered you. 22:19, 3 October 2010 (BST)
- Ahh man, you were one of my favorites D: --Thadeous Oakley 22:24, 3 October 2010 (BST)
- Also, to be clear, the reason is because you don't want the extra work and responsibility that comes with the position? Because I kinda imagine that sort of reasoning. --Thadeous Oakley 22:30, 3 October 2010 (BST)
- The old reasons still hold. Also, I'm actually contemplating cutting back on my time here in the near future. Extra obligations would get in the way of that. —Aichon— 23:10, 3 October 2010 (BST)

Yonnua Koponen
- Yonnua Koponen (talk | contribs)
- I'm pulling out to support DDR. In my opinion, he's the best candidate by a mile, and pretty much the only decent one (Red is unfortunately not going to make it for now). I strongly advise anyone who would have voted for me, or who was intending to to support DDR instead. I would have done this earlier, but I'd been convinced to give people as much choice as possible. Right now though, the only choice is DDR.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 15:00, 15 October 2010 (BST)
