October

October 14th

Exhausted, Jimbo had fallen asleep in St Teresa's church. He slumbered still when the dead stormed the barricades and began to devour the inhabitants. By the time he awoke to the sharp sting of a Necrotech needle, he was lying outside of the church, which lay in ruins. The streets were crawling with the dead. In a blind panic, he turned and ran for a place to tend to his wounds. Somewhere, anywhere, but Shore Hills. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jimbo the Sly (talkcontribs) 09:10, 14 October 2011.

October 8th

Jimbo laughed nervously to himself as he skipped nervously from roof to roof. Everything seemed pretty safe. He found many good places to hide, and not a lot of zeds. It was one of the quietest days he'd had in a long time. Somehow, that made him nervous. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jimbo the Sly (talkcontribs) 04:03, 8 October 2011.

Can't get a rez to safe my life here. There's at least 20 people waiting between the two graveyards. 20 people ready to fight. Wondering if it's too much to ask not to be shot by a zombie hunter when I'm attacking the zombies trying to eat you idiots left :P Losing faith, hope, and my left sock.

NecroWatch reported in from the Poulter, the Pittman and the Brennand Building. The scan revealed 17 zombies within the scanning range of the facilities, after accounting for scan overlaps. It's really quiet in the Suburb. The only notable group were 5 zombies at the Jelley Museum over in Lerwill Heights. The remaining zombies were scattered across the area in numbers of 1 to 3.

April 17th

All quiet in Shore Hills. Suburb is almost entirely safe, after months in zombie hands, thanks largely to The Fortress. --Thrownaway 18:04, 17 April 2009 (BST)

April 8th

NecroWatch reported in from the Brennand Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 17 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 3 zombies were at both the Culverwell Building in Lerwill Heights and Club Hill in Lukinswood. The remaining detected zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, were scattered across the area. --Mobius 15:11, 9 April 2009 (BST)

March

March 21st

Not that bad for a RED burb. Some zombie sleepers and 19 in the Pittman NT, but lots of EHB cades around and some survivor clusters. Even some Police and Hospital buildings caded and lit. --Majmack 02:34, 21 March 2009 (EST)

March 20th

After the fall of Ackland Mall, the last safe point in this region of Malton, your intrepid reporter returns to Shore Hills. Little has changed in the intervening period. Cade-strafed buildings stand empty, and the barely-recognizable, violated corpses of The Fortress' Team Anaconda litter the streets. They, along with others, were warned. Survivors could do far more good in Havercroft reclaiming Ackland than showcasing their vanity in Shore Hills' lost cause. --Thrownaway 17:03, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

March 9th

Shore Hills returned to ashes. No buildings remain standing in the burb, and zombies rule the streets. Necrotech facilities have been ruined for so long that fungal blooms thrive within. Home, sweet home. --Thrownaway 01:23, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

March 6th

PK attacks and coordinated zombie break-ins see the survivor coalition in Shore Hills torn apart and devoured overnight, restoring its reputation as a deadly place. Your fearless correspondent blames The Fortress members for provoking the local PK element. Current status: waiting in revive queue (16). --Thrownaway 01:09, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

March 4th

Shore Hills has suddenly shifted one hundred eighty degrees from total deadzone with complete zombie dominance to a desperate battle between a few brave, totally isolated zombies and a slavering, innumerable horde of hungry survivors. The entire center of the suburb is now one giant safehouse, and estimates of survivor to zombie ratios are now running at approximately 3:1. When The Fortress moves in to town, Malton follows. --Thrownaway 05:24, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

These groups have been removed from Stanbury Village's group listing in accordance with the The Great Suburb Group Massacre

--YoHohoTalk 15:53, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

March 2nd

Much headway made overnight towards the restoration of Shore Hills. Mostly due to cooperative Cade strafing, but (unfortunately), it appears zerg activity by less scrupulous survivors is also playing a part. Between yesterday night and this morning, there are around ten new safehouses, and the suburb's danger level has dropped below critical. Lights were seen in a club to the south of the suburb, as well as in James General. --Thrownaway 18:47, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

March 1st

Situation remains hopeless in this devastated sector. It seems impossible to overnight in this suburb, as break-ins are almost guaranteed. The resident zombies appear to be leaking into neighboring areas to the east and south, as well. Advise sleeping over the border into a neighboring burb, if you intend to venture into Shore Hills during the day. --Thrownaway 16:16, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

February

February 27th

NecroWatch reported in from the Brennand Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were currently 53 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 7 zombies were at the Brennand facility itself, while 4 zombies were at the cemetery revive point and the Tennant Building in Lerwill Heights. In addition, 3 zombies were at both a nearby factory and a junkyard in Havercroft. The remaining zombies, who numbered in the 1's and 2's, appeared to be thinly scattered across the entire area, no doubt occupying ruined buildings like dutiful sentries. --Mobius 12:55, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

February 26th

This is oblivion2k, I managed to scrap together an EHB barricade in the Paull Building (32, 52). This is the only safehouse I've seen in this wasteland. I'm gonna take back Shore Hills by myself if I have to. --Oblivion2k 02:08, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

February 25rd

Total devastation. No safehouses remain in Shore Hills. Avoid. --Thrownaway 01:18, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

February 23rd

Nearly all buildings are in ruins, and the few remaining survivors speak only of evacuation to safer areas. It has been days since the last sighting of The Big Prick, and they are rumored to have been driven out, abandoning Shore Hills to a sad fate. --Thrownaway 02:34, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

February 20th

The Big Prick mounted a shockingly effective initial defense, but the Poulter Building finally fell as ferals were drawn to the siege by feeding groans. Current reporting indicates twelve zombies still inside. With the loss of Poulter, all NecroTech buildings in Shore Hills are now in zombie hands. --Thrownaway 04:00, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

February 19th

Situation in Shore Hills continues to degrade. The Poulter building was broken into overnight and is currently contested. The Brennand and Pittman buildings are both in ruins and occupied by multiple zombies, leaving the suburb without a safe point for procuring syringes. Zombie activity in the suburb continues to grow at a slow, but constant pace and coordination appears to be increasing. Survivors in the area are advised to either contribute to the immediate defense of key resource points or avoid staying in this suburb overnight. --Thrownaway 03:46, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

NecroWatch reported in from the Poulter and Brennand Buildings. A recent scan had revealed that there were now 134 zombies within scanning range of the two facilities, with no scan overlaps. Of these numbers, 11 zombies were at Burdekin Alley PD in Galbraith Hills, 9 zombies were at the Poulter facility itself, 9 more zombies were at St. Eutychian's Hospital over in Havercroft, 8 zombies were at Gwinn Bank, 6 zombies were at the Brennand facility itself and the Latchem Hotel in Galbraith Hills, while 5 zombies were at St. Teresa's Church and the Waddams Arms. The remaining zombies had gathered into mobs that were fewer in number than these and scattered themselves across the area. Survivors in the area are advised to remain on alert. --Mobius 02:28, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

February 18th

NecroWatch reported in from the Poulter Building today. A recent scan revealed that there were 53 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 7 zombies were at the Poulter facility itself, 4 zombies were at a warehouse and the Waddams Arms, while 4 more zombies could be found at both Burdekin Alley PD and the Latchem Hotel in Galbraith Hills. The remaining zombies were fewer in number than these zombies mobs and scattered across the area. --Mobius 13:04, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

February 17th

NecroWatch reported from the Pittman Building and scouted the Brennand Building. Scan from the Pittman revealed 60 zombies in the area. The Brennand Building is in ruins. The area is largely ruined, with 2 to 5 zeds inside each ruin. Roving small groups of zeds attacking buildings not already destroyed. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 07:13, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Update: NecroWatch reporting in with further scans. A recent scan from the Poulter Building revealed that there were currently 55 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 9 zombies were at the Poulter facility itself, 4 zombies were at the Waddams Arms, while 3 zombies were at Adney Towers and English Drive School, with both of those locations being in Galbraith Hills. The remaining zombies were fewer in number and scattered across a wide area... mostly on their own and occupying ruined buildings. --Mobius 13:24, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

February 14th

NecroWatch reported in from the Brennand Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 51 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 5 zombies were at the Horner Building, 4 zombies were at both the Lodge Motel and Bassence Row Fire Station, while 7 zombies were at St. Eutychian's Hospital over in nearby Havercroft. The remaining zombies mobs were composed of fewer numbers and scattered throughout the area. --Mobius 16:00, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

February 12th

NecroWatch reported again from the Pittman Building today. A more recent scan revealed that there were now 35 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 4 zombies were still at the Locock Building, while 3 zombies were at the Pittman facility, the Crofts Arms, and the local cemetery revive point. The remaining zombie mobs were fewer in number and scattered throughout the area, where they posed no apparent risk to any other locations. --Mobius 13:11, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Update: NecroWatch issued an updated report, stating that over the course of three hours the number of standing zombies at the Locock Building and the Crofts Arms were reduced by a zombie at both locations. The scan does not indicate whether the zombies were gunned down or had simply departed those locations. However, the overall number of zombies in the area has not diminished. --Mobius 17:18, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

February 11th

NecroWatch reported from the Pittman Building today. A new scan revealed that there were now 49 zombies within scanning range of the lone facility. Of these numbers, 7 zombies were at the local cemetery revive point, 5 zombies were at Tarasius General Hospital in Lerwill Heights, while 4 zombies were at the Locock Building, the Crofts Arms, and the Jelley Museum in Lerwill Heights. The remaining zombie mobs were fewer in number and scattered across the area. --Mobius 12:52, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

February 10th

NecroWatch reported again from the Poulter and Pittman Buildings today. A recent scan revealed that there were 124 zombies within scanning range of the facilities, after accounting for scan area overlaps. Of these numbers, 8 zombies were at the local cemetery revive point, 7 zombies were at the Clearey Drive revive point in Galbraith Hills, while 4 zombies were at the Crofts Arms, a factory, and another cemetery in Galbraith Hills. The remaining zombie mobs were fewer in number and scattered across the suburb. While no other locations appeared to be facing any significant threat at this time, the overall number of zombies does present obvious concerns. --Mobius 18:00, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

February 9th

The Big Prick is rumored to be moving to the suburb by end of week. --Asheets 20:26, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

February 6th

NecroWatch reported again from the Brennand Building today. A new scan revealed that there were now 60 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 9 zombies were at St. Eutychian's Hospital over in Havercroft, 5 zombies were outside the Brennand facility itself, and 4 zombies were at both the Horner Building and the factory next door. The remaining zombies were mostly scattered throughout the area in smaller numbers. --Mobius 13:01, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

February 5th

NecroWatch reported from the Brennand Building today. A recent scan revealed that there were 55 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 6 zombies were at Bassence Row Fire Station, 6 zombies were lined-up at the Ebsworth Row revive point in Lerwill Heights, while 4 more zombies were at the Reading Building. The remaining zombies... in fact a majority of them, were scattered across the suburb. Scientists took particular note in the troubling fact that there were sixteen individual cases where only one zombie, by itself, appeared to be occupying a building... almost as if guarding it. --Mobius 13:12, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

NecroWatch reported from the Poulter Building along the eastern edge of Shore Hills. A recent scan revealed that there were 47 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 6 zombies were at the Poulter facility itself, and 5 were at Teek Boulevard PD, while in Galbraith Hills there were 9 more zombies at Burdekin Alley PD and 4 zombies at a local junkyard. The remaining zombies were mostly scattered in groups of 1 or 2 zombies. --Mobius 22:15, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

No report during this month. The suburb was considered Dangerous during the time, with one powered building and one hundred zombies at their peak. Perhaps survivors were too busy trying to stay alive to report anything.

Conditions are still poor in the suburb. Large portions of the suburb are occupied by small groupings of zombies scattered through out the suburb. A majority of zombie activity appears to be in the eastern half of the suburb with a possible migration of activity to the south. Further intelligence is needed to confirm this report. The conditions of the suburb are slow to improve due to a low survivor population. Efforts are underway to improve conditions. Roger atthill 17:11, 26 August 2008 (BST)

The recent increase in zombie activity continues to cause problems for local survivors. Most Tactical Resource Points (TRPs) are under nearly constant pressure of zombie attack. Poulter NT and the surrounding buildings are hotly contested at this time. Many locations are changing hands frequently, forcing survivors to provide constant attention to barricade levels in order to maintain a secure location for any appreciable amount of time. Organized efforts continue in an attempt to improve the condition of the suburb and provide support at local revive points. Roger atthill 18:00, 5 August 2008 (BST)

A recent surge in zombie numbers in the northern half of the suburb has resulted in an increase in the number of ruined buildings present. June

June 25th, 2008 Reports are coming in of large groups of zombies heading southwest out of the suburb towards North Blythville. Rumor has it that the Militant Order of Barhah has decided to move on (concerned citizens can find more information at MOB Locator). With any luck, MOB will find new targets elsewhere and their groans will attract the remaining feral zombies in the area. This may be the chance that survivors have been waiting for to rebuild before squatters make Shore Hills a more permanent venue.--FLZombie 12:31, 25 June 2008 (BST)

June 23nd, 2008 What began as an organized assault on Shore Hills by the Militant Order of Barhah, taking the southeast half of the suburb by storm, has apparently snowballed into an eating frenzy involving many other unaffiliated zombies. These feral zombies have taken several buildings of their own as well, including Butson Boulevard School. Ferals have started to focus their attention in the northwest, ruining Bassence Row Fire Station as well, and their presence has also been noted in other areas of the suburb, from Rio Avenue Railway Station to Tyrrell Plaza School. Survivor presence seems to be waning at this time - from either attrition or evacuation. Several key structures have been ruined, including two out of three NecroTech Buildings centers, Police Departments, and the hospital. At this rate, the near total ruin of this suburb may happen soon.--FLZombie 05:33, 23 June 2008 (BST)

June 22nd, 2008 The last remaining vestige of "safety" near the Poulter NT -- a junkyard (39,56) -- was broken into by a small and radical sub-faction of the MOB operating independently of the main strike teams. With all remaining buildings in the immediate area -- including Teek Blvd Pd and James General Hospital -- also ruined and occupied by the living dead, this powered and barricaded junkyard stood out a little like... like... well, like a well-lit and barricaded junkyard in the midst of a sea of ruination. --WanYao 10:06, 22 June 2008 (BST)

June 20th, 2008 Despite the valiant efforts at dislodging the zombie occupiers from the Poulter Building NT and from Maul Row Police Department, survivors were unable to control the onslaught from the Militant Order of Barhah, which targeted the night life hot spots in the area, namely the Hardinge Arms, the Waddams Arms and Wadham Cinema. Survivors should resist the temptation of counterattacking the MOB at this time and consider evacuating the area, if only to regroup and counterattack later.--FLZombie 04:24, 20 June 2008 (BST)

June 18th, 2008 As survivors battle the LUE over the Pittman Building NT, the Militant Order of Barhah has entered the suburb from the Northeast, and ruined the Poulter Building. April 12th, 2008 Shore Hills is overrun. I searched and found no survivors. I'm currently holed up in a NecroTech building, not sure which one. I was looking for a safehouse before I passed out. I encountered at least 50 zombies in Shore Hills, including 15 in the cemetery. I'll take a look around once I get more action points, but it seems like I'm the only survivor here...--User:Lieutenant Watt 08:56, 12 April 2008 (BST)

Lieutenant Watt, and other survivors, get off this suburb, now. I searched him and found no survivors. You will only find death. The survivors are in minor number in Malton, and scattered all around. --Aldo dinho 19:45, 13 April 2008 (BST)

April 12th, 2008 The zombies take the Brennand Building. There are 31 zombies outside and a unknown number of them inside the building. I suspect that the Revive Point in the cemetery nearby is deactivated. The Maul Row Police Dept is empty, the zombies get in there, and the Teek Boulevard Police Dept too. The entire region seems to be invaded and clean by the zombies. Is anyone out in Shore Hills? We need mobilizate a defense for the Depts and other strategic points. I cant do all this alone, specially when I'm dead and the Shore Hills seems to be empty. --Aldo dinho 03:36, 12 April 2008 (BST)

March 4th, 2008 In an as yet unchecked orgy of violence the zombie horde that descended on the fair town of Shore Hills two days ago has systematically ransacked its way from the northern border to the south. Poulter NT has fallen to Extinction NT strike team "Shadow" assisted by elements of The Dead and a tidal wave of ferals. Residents are advised to seek revives further south until the storm passes.--Zeug 03:55, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

March 2nd, 2008 As predicted a zombie horde numbering 50 or more combined with Extinction's NT strike team "Shadow" descended on the Brennand NT today and tore it apart in their rather unsavoury hunt for brains. The town's northern defence was simply overwhelmed in the process and the survivors are believed to be regrouping as we speak. Fighting continues in South-east Shore Hills between zombies and survivors. Control of the Maul Row Police Department [36, 56] and Teek Boulevard Police Department [37, 57] has been going back and forth between the two sides. Tactical Resource Points (TRPs) continue to fluctuate between the zombies and survivors. If there is any collusion between survivors, it is happening in secret - possibly through groups - and is somewhat random. Gatherings of zombies seems to be somewhat planned, as the cycling of TRPs seems to prove. However, one cannot dismiss the possibility of pure coincidence. More support and organization is needed to help keep the suburb safe... or unsafe, depending on which side of the fence one is from. --Ryiis 17:01, 11 July 2007 (BST)

There seems to be a lot of back and forth when it comes to the PDs - and one can only assume for the other Tactical Resources Points in the suburb as well. Survivors get in, take over the R.P (Resource Point) and hold it for awhile. Then a small mass of zeds come over, tears everything down and ransacks the place before moving on again. I love them unsigned posts boasting somebody did something mighty big. The only problem is that they rarely have anything to do with the real situation. Brennand was under attack from The Laughing Dead for past 2 months and as of now it is still overrun and ransacked and I do not see how it was cleared. --JohnRubin 08:57, 4 June 2007 (BST)
The Fortress owns screenshot evidence of all 25 kills and will gladly share ;) --Jensonson 22:17, 19 July 2007 (BST)
That's your fault for hiding your tasty bodies inside the needle house! Of course, it IS fun when Food hides in the other places and we can play games! "Knock knock! I see you! Yum!" It's like opening the lids on a buffet! "What food will we find in here today? I hope its Russian!" --Ginormous 19:25, 4 June 2007 (BST)

May

Pretty clean really. Lots of caded buildings, no huge zombie mobs. I'd put it yellow except still some open buildings due to lack of survivors and some 5+ zombie groups making resting in res buildings a no no as they'll be cracked overnight. Tontoman May 24 11:26 EST.

Despite attempts by the Malton Defense Corporation, the burb remains a wasteland. Even after the buildings are barricaded, they are soon broken into due to no one to continually reinforce them. The MDC urges survivors to help maintain barricades in accordance to the uniform barricade plan. On another note, Maul Row PD has recently been retaken.--Master guns 06:21, 13 May 2007 (BST)

The A.Z.A.S. is back in controll of Maul Row P.D. We will be going on rounds to make the area safe for those wishing to stay and fight, and for those just looking for a place to sleep over night! Zeds be on the look out! You are being hunted by the best in the business!

It is still very dangerous to remain in the suburb. There are not too many zombies, but there are even less survivors. Barricades are quickly brought down so most buildings are wide open. --JohnRubin 07:27, 13 April 2007 (BST)

The Drama Club staged a performance of "Apocalypse Now" in Club Chalderwood as part of their Outward Spiral Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel in a counter-clockwise outward spiral from the center of the town to the outer edges with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the lone zombie there as part of this tour. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

The wonderful guys at Brennard NT are keeping a runninh revive point. Stop by if you happened to have died. Though the hospital nearby is constantly under siege, it's still in order, and keeping people alive. --Kamden 03:29, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

This is an official announcement from FER: We have moved from Kempsterbank to Shore Hills. We intend to keep a close watch on the NW of Shore Hills and keep the Brennand Building [30, 52] running. We run a revive-point at the cemetery [31, 54] --JohnRubin 18:45, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Shore Hills status report. Two of the three necrotechs are wide open and ransacked. The Brennand Building (30,52) and the Pittman Building (33,57) NT buildings need more survivor support. The only Hospital had one zombie inside, but also had two survivors and barricades. Otherwise, this suburb seemed fairly safe and secure. Leaving at Dangerous until the NT buildings are fixed up. --Pchem 14:49, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

2006

December

  • December 5, 2006 - This is just a reminder that "Mrh?" Is the international sign for "Please Revive!". If a zombie gets into a secured building, States that over and over again, and CLOSES THE DOORS BEHIND HIM-- He ISN'T a threat and should be revived!! Mr Chug: Watch out, I'm gunning for You.

November

  • November 29, 2006 - We are in need of help in the Poulter Building NT. Bring fuel, a generator, and radio transmitter if you have it. Also in need of more people to perform revives. Enter at the Wadham Cinema. Come with plenty of ammo and first-aid kits.
  • November 21, 2006 - (To The) Four Winds are reviving in SW cemetery [31,47] and in Havenhand Walk [35,50]. We are having delays these last days since we were all dead, but we are able to give a better service, since tonight. Please leave your revive requests at Our Forum| with a link to your profile. Gwyn de La Croix 17:28, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
  • November 1, 2006 - The Brennand Building was broken into and several people were killed (along with a generator) by a member of Zombie Zoo Animals and one of the RRF. Whether this indicates the presence of RRF activity in the area is yet to be seen. --Herman Messler 06:23, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Old Information Updates

This section is for old updates - 6 months or older - from the main Shore Hills page.

The AZAS

The Anti-Zombie Attack Squad

Sometime during the late summer months, a new group began to gather in South East Shore Hills. The call themselves AZAS. Whether or not this group will have the staying power to keep together amidst the chaos of Malton Center, only time will tell. A statement from one of the groups founding members, Eva Psychotic: "We saw Shore Hills and knew they needed our help, badly. *blam! blam!* Sorry about that. Anyway, we are always recruiting. The only requirements are that you are mostly alive, and have somewhat good intentions." Other founding members, Colt of the AZAS and Mike Zed Hunter have been involved in the recent Maul Row Massacre, when a wave of Zombies crushed South East Shore Hills. Miss Psychotic had something to say about this as well: "We did it to ourselves. We concentrated too seriously on only a few locations. Really we just let ourselves get soft. I pray that my compatriots found a safe place to hide out while we recover. Never again..." So, while the AZAS are still the new kids in Shore Hills, pulling their own weight doesn't seem to be a problem.--23:13, 17 Jan 2006 (PST)

After several rousing battles, AZAS is back in Shore Hills for good. Representative Molly Jonez had this to say: "For most of March, there was no one left in all of Shore Hills, all of us were off getting revived. When we returned we discovered a hidden resource that has been the key to our recent success and sticking power: The Descript Survivors. The DS are a small but powerful group of Whedonists and drunkards, maintaining more than a foot hold in South East Shore Hills." Miss Jonez also mentioned that the Deadites are still being 'nuisances' but they expect to route them with time. Even the Mall at Ackland seems to be holding up. Shore Hills is not safe by far, but is not lost by any measure. 23:32, 26 May 2006 (pst)

The LPD's Blockade

Los Pollos Diablos' Triumphant Blockade

As of 12/23/06, Apparently Los Pollos Diablos have survived! Currently plans are being laid for a massive uprising against the zombie opressors of Shore Hills. Los Pollos Diablos are currently calling upon any able bodied human in the area to aid in the effort.

Five days have passed since LPD's successful blockade of Shore Hills, effectively reclaiming their home territory. It was reported that the band of maraudering survivors broke through the small welcoming parties of undead just before midnight on November 21st "with cannons blazing," according to an eyewitness; the usage of said cannons still being debated at this time. Much rum was quaffed on that victorious night and the odd bawdy sea shanty or two rang out over the next few days of hotspot elimination and reconstruction.

"It's like we were never gone!" exclaims one particulary boistrous LPD member, "Yarr, we were blindsided by them cursed devils all right but we came back, by thunder! We came back and showed 'em what it meant to cross us pirates, yaharr! Now look at the place, it's safe again. Got the odd feral shamblin' about I'll grant ye, but s'nothin us crewmates can't weather; we can proudly call Shore Hills home again."

Given this information it is still evident that the undead still stalk the streets, but for now it is clear that the pirates have made themselves heard in this past week; the message being "We're back and we're here to stay". --23:22, 26 Nov 2005 (GMT)
