The Black Berets - New Forum
Hello, this is Iluliaq from the Black Berets. Our forum is currently experiencing technical difficulties, so we've shifted to a new temporary forum: http://s14.invisionfree.com/ghdu If your representative registers under the same username, they will be added shortly. Thanks for your patience. 25.March.2006
Alliance of Giddings
Hello, my name is Saromu. I'm co-founder of the Alliance of Giddings and we were wondering if your group and Shackleville would be interested in joining us. You can contact me on my talk page. Thank you. Saromu 02:04, 26 March 2006 (BST)
- Hey again. Want to also ask if you're interested in joining with Fryerbank since you're a big group there. We're interested in securing Joachim Mall and part of it is in Fryerbank. So contact me if you can. Saromu 01:57, 1 April 2006 (BST)
Remember, remember the 5th of November
You are all urged to storm the infected heart of our fair city of Malton on the 5th of November. We shall not lie down, we shall take back what is ours! Codename V 14:46, 4 April 2006 (BST)
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
After your little in-game rant at one of our temporarily harman members it gives me GREAT pleasure to learn of your death at the hands, err claws, of United Ferals. Whilst I am sure the member in question was hurt by your rude manner, it probably didn't hurt as much as the zombies now munching on your corpse. Thank you SO MUCH for helping us choose todays target, we were torn between a few buildings but decided that your trenchcoat ways meant you deserved to die most.
I do hope you get revived soon, as I suspect that we shall probably be killing you over and over. See you again soon! Mr L 01:46, 26 April 2006 (BST)
Trenchies? we HATE trenchies. we like to think of ourselves as well organised groups working to restore maltons human population. Trenchies just run around, kill zombies and act like 12 year old chronic counter-strike players with serious problems. we care, we really do. unless your a trenchie. GAH! Stupid trenchies!--Doctorgun 10:35, 13 October 2008 (BST)
Code red? Oops.
Drat that cat, submitting this for me early.
Well, all dignity gone, hello from the happy mob of party zombies that, well, you know. Kind of trashed your place. Set fire to the sofa, that sort of thing. Ate everyone. Hope you're not too miffed. Thought you might like to know that what took your Fortress 4 from EHB and looking rather safe and attractive to an empty gutted shell was, in fact, a party. The RRF EXCURSION shore-leave party. But the happy party zombies will be moving on, and I'm sure you can get Fortress 4 looking spiffy again in no time. I mention this because I know that with zombie anonymity, it's not always obvious who ate your brains.
Greetings from your accidental foes, the Ridleybank Resistance Front. Good luck with the after-party cleanup. --Fred Dullard 01:27, 29 April 2006 (BST)
Greetings from the RRF
We seem to be moving in the same area, and thus far our ops units and intelligence people have been fairly impressed with your level of organization and smart style of play. BARHAH to our worthy harman foes. Petrosjko 00:40, 30 April 2006 (BST)
- Again, Greetings. Somewhat recently, a few of your members [posted on our forums]. Personally I enjoyed the diversion from what sadly seems to be standard survivor behavior of yelling crude insults. I am curious to learn more about you guys, as I see your tags all over. If you have IRC or a forum, I am interested in taking part in any public discussions. Contact me here or my talk page with your thoughts and concerns. Greetings from the Undeadites
This is in response to the rather polite killing I received from Travis MK1. I bear no ill will or hostilities for the PKing. I was revived by an unwitting survivor after attacking a powered Necrotech. While I carry no vandetta I look forward to meeting Travis and the rest of the Fortress on the field of battle. - ZombieMcAllen of the Undeadites May 12, 17:40 (-5 GMT)
Malton Hospitals Group
Attention usergroup, Malton Hospitals Group needs your help. If you're running a hospital, please notify us as soon as it's on our list of hospitals. 04:55, 16 May 2006 (BST)
Greetings from Ferals United
As a response to the message from Travis MK1, I am here to represent our little group. We're not evil, we're not irresponsible - we just love the smell of trenchcoats in the morning. Please don't think badly of us, we are merely feeding our hunger. Unanimously, we have chosen Fortress members as our tastiest meal - with some claiming that your group is 25% lip-smackingly delicious than neighbouring groups. I, for one, particularly enjoy the Ears. --Creeping Flesh 22:50, 26 May 2006 (BST)
Greetings from the Drunken Dead
I was giving a Social Studies lesson and the members of this group ran away. Don't think you've got away without doing your homework! And really, do you need all those miltary titles? Anyway, interrupted our pub crawl to give some quick lessons. Hope you enjoyed! -- Edith Bauer 20 July 2006 0:22 GMT
- • It was so kind of you to provide that invaluable lesson to Studz on scent trails! I believe all the recruits have been able to learn from it. I hope you enjoyed your stay in our school. I'm so sorry we couldn't stick around and provide you with more entertainment but there are always more lessons to learn, you know! You were given little resistence this time because one of our own invited you, but don't feel free to stop in again. Next time the lesson will be taught to you, not by you. -- Drill Sergeant KsTxGirl 16:35, 20 July 2006 (BST)
Your Attention is Requested
Would your group be interested in a relationship with FedCom: Urban Dead?
We seek to unite the South-East corner of the city, so that together we stand as a stronger force against the zombie threat and their PKer servants.
If so, please send a representative to discuss the future on our diplomatic forum.
We look forward to meeting you.

Dear Jensonson, Please be aware that the Broadway Zombies find the conditions for appearance at your party to be unacceptable. It has come to our attention that we will not be performing at the main party location. We are not the Off-Broadway Zombies. We do not do school plays.
If you choose to rectify this condition, please notify us immediately, as we are having great fun at the Zoo. Please be aware of the conditions set forth in our tour rider.--Snarfo 18:55, 16 September 2006 (BST)

Request
Dragonhead request that all Fortress members currently residing in Fryerbank at The Noonan Building and The Lintell Building do not revive any listed members of Zog of Marrinium on our wiki page. They have left atl characters in Fryerbank to spy on our members locations to help with their anti-social behaviour. This group has no intention of co-existing with other survivor groups within Fryerbank and helping to fend off the zombie scourge. Therefore your assistance (Not if killing them, as don't want get your group dragged into their pathetic pettiness) but in not reviving or healing their members would be much appreciated. Dragonhead have had a good standing relationship with The Fortress over the last 12 months in Fryerbank and have worked well together to maintain it as a safe place for all survivors, so would appreciate your co-operation on this issue. Homuncubish 15:48, 3 April 2007 (BST)
The MIGHTY Zog of Marrinium have no argument with The Fortress. Zombiek 15:53, 3 April 2007 (BST)
The Zog of Marrinium are no more. We have had enough of the incestuousness of Dragonhead, therefore have temporarily disbanded as a group. However, we intend bloody and spiteful revenge at some point in the future. I suggest that The Fortress be wary of the petty and tedious Dragonhead treachery, they are trying to draw you in. What other group has EVER asked you to fight their battles for them? (or at least to make them easier. They are weasles and have tried this before, - see the pages of The Soft Parade) Amiasheep 17:01, 3 April 2007 (BST) Amiasheep 3/4/07
We have not requested The Fortress to help fight our silly childish fight with your pathetic group that your member nuclear jamjar started. We have requested that they do not heal or revive you if find your members in Fryerbank, your group has shown consistantly from grief of our group at start of this year and DK13 last year so show no intention of co-operating with other survivor groups to maintain a secure Fryerbank. You prefer to spam airways with childish drivel, spray over other groups turf paint and barricade entry points, and instead of killing zeds prefer to attack other survivor groups.
Slight difference between our request of not assisting you by healing or reviving, and one of asking them to join fight against you. Bit like your request to Soft Parade to devive our members. Our message to Soft Parade was to pass on information on your whereabouts as you deemed it fit to PK that group as well as ours, it only made sense to co-operate.
To The Fortress sorry for this dirty laundry getting aired above, feel free to delete what you deem inappropriate for your discussion page. Myself I had to setup an special page just for ZOM drivel as it became constant pain flooding our pages. Homuncubish 21:30, 3 April 2007 (BST)
That's simply not the case. Stop trolling for an argument, homuncubish. You and your group are griefers and pkers, and now you're trying to get others to join in. That's bullying. Just to reiterate, we have no issues with The Fortress. Zombiek 21:38, 3 April 2007 (BST)
Only griefers and PKers in Fryerbank is ZOM and that has been pretty obvious to all other parties residing in the suburb. Dragonhead members have never actively sought out to PK other survivors unlike ZOM members, the only players we have killed have been in revenge kills for unprovoked PKing of our members (We still owe ZOM quite a few revenge kills, but as your are not to be found in Fryerbank and we do not actively chase outside Fryerbank to exact the revenge kills they are outstanding. We have more important issues of maintaining a secure Fryerbank than wasting our AP running around after your group Homuncubish 21:57, 3 April 2007 (BST)
Just count up the volume of the inane ramblings from Homuncubish and his fellows. Compare them to ours. Make your own mind up who are the wierdo's. I shall not be replying to any Dragonhead slurs on these pages again. Thank you The Fortress, for your tolerance. --Amiasheep 11:46, 4 April 2007 (BST)

lolz that comment coming from you. Talk about calling the kettle black. Homuncubish
ZOM have reformed as PKing group Bigger Mortice, as requested with ZOM, The Fortress members residing in Fryerbank please do not revive or heal these anti-survivor players. Homuncubish 16:44, 9 April 2007 (BST)

Illumination is the rarest of gifts. Nothing travels faster than light, nothing burns brighter…infuse a light with truth, and it will outrun, and outshine any lie you pit against it.
One year ago, a band of brave heroes brought a new kind of light to Malton. Some of you remember it, some of you have since heard, others of you were there, beside me, as we turned over the world and transform night into day. Now, I seek to do it again.
I have called you, brothers in arms, because of your rare devotion to the survivor cause. In times to come, many will hear of this event, and will claim to have kindled the light of a new age, but you will stand among the first to renew the light of Malton…the Extravaganza has come again.

Greetings From Stickling!
Yo ho Annun here!
Well I hear some of your lads have been around Shearbank of late, so I was wondering If I could lend a hand in any way to help clear out some of those D.A.R.I.S. members that have been causing problems of late, I have been doing my fair share to keep em down already, heh heh, but a bit of organization would help. So If you want to have a wee chat about the problems in Shearbank and how to deal with them, let me know aye? I would be happy to lend a hand.
Ohh, and this may help a bit KOS
The Headbangers of Malton
We've been working along side your group for some time now in an effort to clear out an area that has become increasingly infested. I have a feeling things are only going to get worse if we don't up our level of coordination. Are you still in the same suburb? After the last devastating break-in I can't find most of the survivors, other than those from my group. We have a secure forum for allied comms if you want to use that, or I can get an account on your forum. Check out The Headbangers of Malton for a link to the HoM message board. We also need to think about getting other groups involved. This back and forth shit is getting us nowhere. --Stickman 15:32, 19 August 2007 (BST)
Ft. Perryn
Greetings from the Cannonball Crew. I noticed on the Fort Perryn page you have listed yourselves as present in the fort. I've certainly noticed your presence over the last couple weeks, and believe me the rest of us survivors are glad you're here. However, my understanding of wiki rules is that you're only supposed to list yourselves if you'll be there permanently. I got in a big fight with the head of the RRF last year because I claimed my group was "present" in Riddleybank; we were present, but only for a mission, and then we left again, so we didn't deserve to have ourselves listed on the "known groups in this suburb" section.
If you do plan on making a permanent presence at Ft. Perryn, we should coordinate our efforts. The Fort Perryn Defense Force has already merged with us, and we have top-level contacts with the CDF and the Rangers. Please contact us through the Open Diplomacy section of our forum. --Koppie 19:37, 31 August 2007 (BST)
- Hi Koppie. I wasn't aware of that ruling and as The Fortress is not remaining at Fort Perryn for much longer I will personally make sure to remove our tag upon departure. Thanks for the heads up and look forward to working with you again in the future. Stay Vigilant! Jensonson 01:16, 6 September 2007 (BST)

It's a date
Dear Tommy Crowbar,
Thank you for your kind offer of a nice evening out on the town. I'd like to take you up on that. Dinner at the mall food court perhaps, followed by a movie at Vere? All I require to make this a reality is a little jab with your syringe. That's not so much to ask, and certainly cheaper than a dozen roses...though it may come at a higher cost later.
Sincerely yours,
--Goolina Gore Corps 13:31, 5 October 2007 (BST)
- Apologetic Belated Response
- Dearest Goolina,
- First of all I would like to apologize for not seeing this until now. Apparently no one looks at this talk page as often as we should. I would still love to take you on a date but operations have taken me elsewhere since we last met. I'm sure our paths will cross again in the near future. I am hoping that you'll give me the honor of taking you for a night out when we meet again.

- Dear Mr. Crowbar,
- Imagine my surprise at seeing you in Ridleybank, and at the Blackmore NT of all places! Despite the jealousy of Miss Elainious and her attempts at blocking your flirtatious advances, I did in fact see your kind words. If, perchance, fate deals us both a kind hand after this siege, perhaps we could adjourn to one of the finer restaurants in Roftwood for a cozy meal. You know where to find me.

The Big Prick
Any Fortress members interested in joining / sending alts? Anything we should be aware of / can do to be nore helpful if we move into an area where you are?
- Although I understand your objective; to make Malton a safer place, The Fortress does not approve of combat reviving. We feel that it is a cheap and unethical tactic that is actually counter-productive to survivors in that it increases PKing, which in turn deters survivors from the game. Is it meant to say fourth year under the section about the Fortress in 2008? Urbandead is two, soon three, years old. - W 00:31, 5 June 2008 (BST)

Why.....So...Serious?.......
i want this put on the forum actualy seriously thanks. Seriously why is every so uptight now a days, from what i hear everyones givin the top guys crap because of this... u guys were all pretty cool people i've met during my playin this game an stuck with ya guys for almost 2 years but i never knew u'd all blow up and make such a big scene about this. seriously i think alot of u are taking this game way 2 serious, remember the Key Word Is GAME... somethin your supposed 2 have fun in an have a bit of a challenge along the way ya know...i know there are promotions and reporting and aba's an such but in the end its just a Game ya know. of all the people who called me a friend in the group i think basically i've got one possibly 2 who are not all up an raising hell an callin me down about this crap, thats pretty sad considering how many used 2 call me a friend. i went along with all this thinkin hmm maybe i'll have some fun with my ol friends in the fortress an jus chill, but seems everyone is acting all immature an stuff, kinda like the kid who gets beat in basketball an says he's goin home an taking his ball with him. well regardless ima continue what i'm doin an jus gon have fun along the way. to the people who actualy still have fun an want 2 chat hit me up on my email an i'll add ya 2 my messenger list 2 chat. ya guys all take care. peace. Blair Wells.
- Not everyone is "so uptight" just wondering why really. It's all part of the game, however their are some who thought you were better then this. Hit me up on my wiki talk page if you like to chat, seeing as you took me off your MSN list --General Patton II 07:07, 24 June 2008 (BST)

You've been around during campaign PKers and people that have let us down and you know it's never a fun experience to get through. I understand your purpose is to write some kind of roleplay for yourself - please can you do this without involving our characters as it's not for our benefit, it's for yours. ohh people responded...cool...i'll address GP2 first as he was the one who responded first, yes there were people who looked down on what i have done so far an like i said its pretty sad how serious it was taken, like i said i think its fun goin toe to toe with the top survivor group in the game with my ol friends, and yes i did delete all my urbandead contacts because of the negative feedback i knew i'd receive.and i did leave a message on your board asking how your doin :) u were always a good guy. and 2 J, isn't goin after the rrf or lue campaigning against a group???...its not much different for pk'ers if u looked at brainstock an im sure u do that pk'ers often challenge other groups, out of jus 2 have a challenge, its not personal i loved workin with the fortress an i thought it would b good for the fortress 2 be humbled a little ya know :) yes i remember hobokiller an how people reacted an some even believed that i was him for a time lol. 2 bad he came along b4 we all gave out our messenger addresses on the forum, it would b nice 2 have a lil assistance :P
- ) its been fun so far, i'm aware of the fortress law after a pk, its been like shooting fish in a barell so far, an whoever said that wasn't fun musta been high off something :P
well im off 2 recharge ap, remember nothing personal its just a game ;) peace. an take care. Blair Wells.

However this is against our rules and The Fortress Council is currently taking disciplinary action against Kilroy as a result. Refusing a live revive, WTF???
Take a look at your member's comments in this Iwitness:
http://iwrecords.urbandead.info/07-17-08_1600hrs_PRIVATE/IN_19-28__260-952-165.html
You might wish to discuss and re-evalute that approach amongst yourselves.... Reviving an active is an incredibly smart thing to do! Because I you get an instant defender ready to work on the cades, heal the injured, whatever. Not to mention an extra meatshield to slow down the chances of the corner getting ransacked.
No. Bad call to tell me -- an active online going Mrh? in the middle an assault!! -- to go to Salopia and wait for a revive. Instead of rezzing me right there, on the spot. I mean it's no big deal or anything... But... still.. bad call, IMO... --WanYao 17:00, 17 July 2008 (BST)
- I'd say that reviving an active zed is a good idea...as long as they want to be revived. Yes, a "Mrh" is a good sign that the zed is asking for a needle but it's always risky reviving a zed from a horde swarmed inside a mall. Anyway, perhaps Steve didn't have a needle or sufficient AP and was offering you better revive advice instead? :p Jensonson About Me The Fortress Talk BOOM TFN TV Promo Join 11:28, 20 July 2008 (BST)

My name is Daniel181, i am a member of The Fortress. I am writing to apologize for my actions a few days ago. I have recently returned to urban dead after being "on and off" for the past few months. My knowledge of who is doing what and whats going on where is very out of date.
I logged into UD and saw you as a survivor, you character is in my contacts list as a famous Zombie player. Not realizing you are now a survivor and also a member of The Kilt store i attacked and killed you. If i had known you were no longer with the RRF/ GORE I certainly would not have attacked you. Not only did i break one fortress rule i broke two.
I am so very sorry for my actions against you especially as i have given a bad representation of The Fortress to The Kilt Store. I really do hope you can forgive my actions against you, and The Fortress. It would mean more to me that you do forgive me and The Fortress. Even if The Fortress does not forgive me.

How're y'all doing? We're the Butthole Surfers, a drug addled ragtag motley crew of musicians and fans. We're true Texas wildcatters to the core and we're looking for a few good allies. If'n you want to you can send a representative to the Butthole Surfers hideout in Osmondville to hang out for a while and see how things are done over here on the brown side. We hunker down in Club Fortescue and we welcome strangers as long as they aren't looking to PK us (we get a lot of that, so we keep it dark at night.) we have taken all schools hostage
Shackleville members of Fortress were given an ultimatum. Leave all the schools in the area and make all hospitals no kill zone like St. Alexander's Hospital in Lockettside. Until the demands are met all survivors sleeping in schools in Shackleville and the surrounding suburbs are hostages. We can not force them to stay, but we can kill them if they do. This ultimatum was given to the group Fortress. They must remove their men from all schools in malton, and make all hospitals in their territory no kill zones. If you have a friend who sleeps in a school, and will not leave; help us to get fortress to obey. Kill them were you see them, and the name of the person you want safe will be put on the list. If you wish to do this go the the hitman discussion and put a name of a survivor and the names of those fortress members you killed to protect that person. Remember everyone in malton is a pker or was at one point, you were either cold blooded or you did it to survive, will you kill one to save others....no this is not a Jigsaw want to be. and this was started by the 2nd in command no me. - ...I think the Hitman must have his demands switched around. What he ought to be read as saying is that The Fortress must remove all its members from the Hospitals of Shackleville, and make all the Schools in its territory into MCM-esque 'No-Kill Zones'. Yes, I'm sure he meant that - and what a worthy goal it is!
- That's the only reasonable explaination - the alternative would be dangerous foolishness generated by an Ignorant mind, wouldn't you say? Because by targetting Schools, they'd be depriving many of Maltons unenlightened residents of a Good Education, and that would not sit well with some people at all. It might even upset someone.

Revive Points
Please dont attack zombies at revive points, it is not productive. Im Cheetara from the ThunderCats and its very nice to meet your group. We normally prowl around Buttonville but due to the overwhelming zeds down there I've ventured up into Dartside, working with our allies the Regulators Alliance and The Randoms. However, while waiting at a very known Revive point I was clawed by a zombie who happens to be part of your group, unless he is an imposter. Would you please let your group know not to attack zombies at revive points as they could very well be survivor groups working with you against the zeds? I would appreciate that... here's the iwitness report: http://iwrecords.urbandead.info/12-01-08_2000hrs_PRIVATE/OUT_36-82_zombie_attacked_f83-f55-dc9.html. - Hi there Lady Cheetara,
- Sorry to see that you were attacked by Van Warhawk, but although he is not an imposter exactly, he is no longer a part of our group. VW did try to join The Fortress (in August) but never qualified from our Boot Camp training facility, which teaches our members the importance of Malton etiquette as well as tactical coordination. It seems that Van Warhawk has never heeded that lesson but I have contacted him today to ask him to either make a return to Boot Camp training or to remove 'The Fortress' from his group profile.

- The Fortress has noted some suspicious zerg-like behaviour in Shore Hills since its arrival in early March and has drawn up reams of evidence of suspected zerging. It seems that one individual, or a small group of individuals, are controlling multiple UD zombies in the same area to achieve their own personal objective. Our results, drawn up in March, have corresponded with independent lists that were previously drawn up by two of our survivor allies, prior to our arrival.
- For a gentleman of your regard, my door is always open. Happy to chat here. That said, at the moment, I'm playing for the other team due to the difficulty in getting revived around here. Fair warning! --Thrownaway 03:18, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

- The Fortress cannot stand cheating and we have exposed mass-zergers before in UD, resulting in Kevan taking action against a culprit on one occassion, but always we have at least spread awareness among our extensive Chain of Allies, which includes every major survivor group in Urban Dead. It is important to us that people know when and where people are cheating in Urban Dead on the odd occassion that we experience it. We feel it is important to always try to find a way to talk to the culprit, to ensure they are aware of the rules of UD and that it is nothing more than a game for people to play; that cheating is obviously wrong. (It's strange how many people don't think of multi-account zerging as cheating!)
- Therefore we would be keen to know, with your knowledge of the Shore Hills area in the past six weeks, whether you and your UD character, presumably Thrownaway, has also experienced suspicious behaviour and what you might be able to tell us to assist in our investigation. In particular, suspicious events you may have experienced or a list of ID's of any zeds you may suspect as zergers.
- Thanks in advance for anything you can provide us. Jensonson 20:01, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- I haven't been doing screenshots or anything, but I think you're absolutely right in suspecting zerg activity in the Shore Hills area, on both the zombie and survivor sides. For the last couple months, ALL of the Necrotech buildings I've gone to in the area have had HUGE mobs of zombies in them (that don't seem to have any apparent group affiliation, so it seems unusual for so many zombies to be so religious about about staying in NTs all the time), and now that I've been Zed for awhile, I've seen more than one occasion where 3-4 zombies all ?rise within minutes of each other when I spend the night in an NT. On top of that, there are tons of level ones around, and the most obvious clue: I've seen a couple zombies named "ZergerXXX" (XXX=number). That's kind of hard to argue with.
- On the survivor side, I've also seen a whole lot (10-20) of level one scouts/firemen with recent creation dates that all share the same "real player" name (and universally stupid character names), but primarily in Havercroft during the mall siege. Haven't been over on that side of the border in a while now, though.
- As a solo player, it's been easy enough just to not overnight in those areas (unless I'm already dead). They way I see it, the best way to deal with them is the same way to deal with any other 13 y/o griefer: ignore them. They'll eventually get bored if and quit if they can't get a rise out of you. Good luck with the hunt, though. Would be interested to know if anything ever comes out of it. --Thrownaway 21:43, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hey Thrownaway, since we've noticed the activity back in early March, we've been collecting profiles and evidence of their actions. There is a critical amount we need to collect, however, for us to bring the matter before the higher powers. Until that time, we could use all the help we can get in collecting profiles and actions in unison. I'll see if we can get some members to go in there and scan as many as possible. If your character is sleeping in an NT, he might end up on the same list as these cheaters, so you might want to move him out or let us know so we don't get you lumped in there with the others. (as it looks like you might have started playing about the same time as the zerg) Good luck out there! ~ Prep Fortress - BS 22:22, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

- You guys let zergers join now? --Blanemcc 02:41, 17 April 2009 (BST)
- Not to my knowledge. Is he one? You have any proof? We're actually actively trying to oust zergers - see the Shore Hills thing above. --Bob Boberton TF / DW 05:20, 17 April 2009 (BST)
- He zerged while working with Dawn Patrol/Anti-Zombie Squad, is on the zerge list, and I have a list of the name of some of his newer zerg alts. He has, to my knowledge, around 7 zergs. --Blanemcc 11:30, 17 April 2009 (BST)
- He was on the Zerg Liste for having his characters LT Mesa and AlvaroMesa together in the same building. Both were with different groups at the time and I believe he was new to the game. Naturally, this is no excuse, but he made the effort to go Resens to get off the list, and since then I have seen no evidence of him multi-abusing. If you have any evidence suggesting recent multi-abuse, I suggest you take it to Resens. ~ Prep Fortress - BS14:22, 17 April 2009 (BST)
- I emailed the list of suspected zergs to Anne Tardew. --Blanemcc 14:45, 17 April 2009 (BST)
Are you guys still recruiting becuse i sent in an Application... how long does it take you guys to answer a message? I mean, besides an extra body for your group I can offer other stuff... I can actually get a message board and possible a chat room up for your group. --Ltpotter 18:28, 6 June 2009 (BST)
- We've received your application and are processing it. The whole process shouldn't take more than a week, tops. Thanks for the offer as well, but we already have a very large and well-established message board too. --Bob Boberton TF / DW 18:37, 6 June 2009 (BST)
I've sent a reply to your incory about the DHPD incident. --Ltpotter 15:18, 12 June 2009 (BST)
- Thanks. As a precaution, we're now going to ask DHPD about their side of things. Thank you for your continued patience. --Bob Boberton TF / DW 21:23, 12 June 2009 (BST)
- Well I can already tell you what they are gonna say, they think I'm lying and believe I'm a spy. Which considering the incidents I've been involved in they are free to think that. I have a questionable past and made deals with a lot of questionable people, this of course has resulted in a lot of people not trusting me. Truth be told the only thing i want to do is play this game without any of this crap going on around me, and the best thing to do is start on a clean slate. I mean, All i want to do is hunt zeds and help people. But everytime I try to do that something stupet happens and I get the raw end of the deal. But thankfully now I've got better security to prevent such things from happening again. But anyway... feel free to speak to the DHPD... but as I said they are going to call me a lire, a spy and more then likely a drama queen, which truth be told i hate drama. That's why i dropped of the wiki here for so long there was just way to much drama. Well anyway... --Ltpotter 23:57, 12 June 2009 (BST)
- Hello again, I have not received any notice for your group on the status of me requestment to join. I know for a fact that more then likely the DHPD decided to continue with the Zed spy route and no doubt mentioned me as being generally annoying. But let me state again that precautions have been made so that the one responsible for leaked information will not be a problem again (At least on my computer.) As for any general annoyance I have worked really hard to try and prevent spelling errors and such when I type. So all O ask is that you update me on my joining request is going. That's all.--Ltpotter 16:05, 19 June 2009 (BST)
- My apologies for the long wait. The DHPD has provided us with a lot to read and process. I'm afraid that as it stands things aren't looking good ... We're still talking it over, but what you told us cannot really be verified, which makes it difficult for us to discern what happened. We don't want to keep you from enjoying the game, so I think you throw your name out to other groups in case things don't work out. ~ Prep Fortress - BS 19:12, 19 June 2009 (BST)
- Well i can verify what i am saying. I can get someone else in my dorm online to confirm what i am saying is true... or better yet I can even send you a picture of my dorm room if you want. Just state what you need and I will try to provide it.--Ltpotter 02:46, 20 June 2009 (BST)
Anti-Zombie Squad
Hi. I'm Dark Butters from the Anti-Zombie Squad. We are a pro-survivor group settled in the suburb of West Grayside. We've been looking to gain some allies with our growing numbers, so wondered if you would be interested in joining up with us. So let me or one of the leaders let us know. Either message the forum http://antizombiesquad.forumup.it/index.php?mforum=antizombiesquad or visit the wiki Anti-zombie_squad.
Thanks again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dark Butters (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.

Building Information Center
Hello, I am here representing the Building Information Center. As one of the largest groups in the game, you are able to update the building status reports in your suburb and any other suburbs you visit. In essence, that is why I am here- to request that your group helps update the BIC.--~ Red Hawk One Talk | space for lease 01:04, 22 July 2009 (BST)
- Hi there Red Hawk One. The Fortress does have a large influence on UD and we do work to keep the Wiki updated where appropriate but due to secrecy of operations (and because TF can be seen by some as a large target) we are often unable to update the Wiki during live operations. We do, however, encourage all our members to take a strong interest in Urban Dead, and in particular keeping things up to date and lively. Still active in Gulsonside?
The Big Prick needs help clearing some rotters out of the mall. These bad boys have held the mall and the rest of the burb in thrall since May, and something needs to be done about it.
If you're interested, stock up with lots of ammo. Don't worry about finding a safehouse; shoot down to your last AP, and if you should die while dirt napping we will find and revive you. Asheets 23:50, 28 July 2009 (BST)
- Thanks for the invitation! I'll look into our various teams availability, but one team just finished up working at Mitchem Mall and decided to head out to another read burb. With Gulsonside listed as gray, I'm not sure if I will be able to convince anyone to go in, but again, thanks for keeping us informed. Good luck out there and Stay Vigilant! ~ Prep Fortress - BS 19:33, 30 July 2009 (BST)
- Gulsonside is yellow status now. We (TBP and some other allies) have cleared most of the 'burb, but the mall is still being held by rotters. Asheets 17:13, 6 August 2009 (BST)

Shackleville Barricade Plan
Hi there.
You are listed on the suburb page as being active in Shackleville (and I'm pretty sure I've seen some of you hange out in the Petting Zoo at one time or another).
I'm currently working on a revised Shackleville Barricade Plan, since the current one isn't adhered to. I hereby invite you to join me on the Shackleville talk page, and work together to make a new one, based on the policies most of us undoubtly already have in barricading our proud suburb. --Itsacon (Talk | Grungni | Ikhnaton) 10:13, 20 October 2009 (BST)

Advertising
We see that you have bought an ad. LOL. That is pretty funny. -- Creeping Crud U 00:11, 23 October 2009 (BST)
- Hi there C.C. We thought we'd give it a try and I'm pleased to say that the results have been fantastic on day one alone. We've had an instant increase in applications so we'd recommend it if you're looking to expand the fun and interest for others as we are. Keep an eye on the game stats to see if it really works or not! Jensonson About Me The Fortress Talk BOOM TFN TV Promo Join 18:44, 23 October 2009 (BST)
- Since the advert was taken out on the 22nd October we have received an impressive 16 applications, 7 of which quoted the advert directly as their route to our group. To put this in perspective, in the first twenty one days of October we made 15 applications, while in the next five days (after the ad was placed) we made 16 further applications. Our pre-advert average was 4.9 a week, while the pro-release advert average was 3.2 apps per day. Nearly a five times increase. And all this is based on just the initial effect only - many more would have seen the ad. and become aware of The Fortress, potentially to contact us in the future (probably during one of our frequent, blabbering recruitment drives).
- These results were based on 15,000 impressions and the ad was up in UD for the majority of two days as a result. If you are looking to expand your group numbers or find some new like-minded, UD-fanatic players (and I can gladly say that the new members seem to be very keen and impressive) then I highly recommend advertising. An Alliance
Talon Company would like to request an alliance with The Fortress. We are one of the few active groups in Shackleville. (I guess the zoo keepers don't really count cause of their member acceptances.
- Hello World 'globe, I'll PM you with our forum address. Then perhaps we can set something up. Good to hear for you and thanks for your interest! ~ Prep Fortress - BS22:54, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Zerging speech
It has come to the attention of The Fortress that a radio broadcast was made by persons unknown, apparently declaring the views of The Fortress. I can state that this was not authorised or broadcast by The Fortress powers that be, and therefore this message - whatever its intentions - is not supported by The Fortress.
For the record our group is fully against zerging in Urban Dead. Zerging is the only law of the game and we strongly oppose any that have been found to be committing zerging. This has included exposing mass-zergers on numerous occassions to Kevan, in order to have their IP's banned, and also the instant expulsion of a senior member, once of our own group, for his exposed zerging in other groups (and please note, not The Fortress).
To clarify, we are not tied with any groups, or players, that are known to be zerging against the rules of Urban Dead. If any allied group, or player is found to be zerging then we will immediately put a stop to it. We do not respect zerging behaviour whatsoever. Thank you for allowing me to reiterate our policy.
