If anyone sees this, we are quietly rebuilding in Pegton. We've got revive queues going, the mobile networks are up, and we occupy the majority of the buildings. There are virtually no zombies, as we are outside of the action. What we're planning is to completely rebuild this suburb and make it a staging point to start pushing back against The Dead. If we can hold this suburb and make life normal here (and we can! WE ARE!) then we can start to enjoy the game again on our own terms. The Dead are getting tired and restless and unorganized. They're starting to lose, as the survivor rates have turned around. We can hold fast here and rebuild our town. So say we all. -- User:Jean-Luc Picard 21:31, 19 May 2011

NecroWatch reported in from the Rowcliffe Building today. A recent NecroNet scan revealed that there were 40 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 5 zombies were at St. Matthew's Hospital, Parkhouse Towers, and a cemetery revive point, while 4 more zombies were at the Hunter Building over in Pitneybank. Zeds everywhere. Everywhere. Most of the buildings appear to be ransacked, and survivors coming through the area must tread with EXTREME caution.
From another perspective, those lonely, shambling creatures known as the undead have found a place of great peace and happiness here, with friends on every corner and a party on every block.

NT scan revealed c. 40 tagged zombies within 4 blocks of Rowcliffe Building, which is recaded and lit, as is the Cowing Way PD and several other buildings nearby. Few zombies have spread to the south of the suburb at this time, but zombie overspill from Pitneybank continues to be a concern for the breathing residents of Pegton.--Mallrat 15:38, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
March 8th
Pegton is once again under attack by RRF, along with a motley alliance of spies and murderers. The Rowcliffe Building NT centre has been breached by the zombies; whether they will be ejected is unclear at time of reporting. The number of zombies is up to several score, if not over a hundred, and many buildings bordering Fort Creedy and Pitneybank have been ruined. Suburb status should be changed back to Dangerous (orange).
Meanwhile, International Women's Day is being celebrated across the suburb, especially by fans of the local nurses.--Mallrat 18:04, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

It's safe here. Most buildings caded and lots also powered. Not even 5 ferals in my scout of the central half of the suburb. 6 waiting at the RP at 87,57. Northern and Central Pegton is seeing some focused zombie activity, with several buildings under attack including the NT. Infrastructure is generally intact and some power in the area. The local NT is under attack. St. Siricius's Hospital is currently out of action, though next door St. Matthew's Hospital is still standing at EHB. The local phone mast is safe but inactive. Changed danger level to Moderate from Very Dangerous, though possibly still Dangerous. -- RoosterDragon 21:56, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
February 23rd
Central and eastern Pegton is generally lit, caded, and well-defended by survivors. Some break-ins are occurring, but the danger level for survivors is certainly not at 'red' - a soothing hue of yellow would be more accurate.--Mallrat 15:00, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
February 20th
St Mathew's and St Siricius's hospitals are open and operational despite regular attacks by disgruntled, presumably uninsured zombies. The Rowcliffe NT's status varies daily but at time of writing was operational with plentiful syringes. Rotters and spies have been spotted at revive points so NecroTech employees are urged to practise safe revival. Rotters seeking life should follow Rotter's Revive protocol to avoid mishaps.--Mallrat 17:03, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

It seems that, despite the best efforts of many of the finest men and women in Malton, the RRF have destroyed a number of resource buildings, including the Cowing Way Police Department, the Rowcliffe Building, and both St. Matthew's and St. Siricius's Hospitals. Dinham PD is ruined with no hope of revival with these new rules. Evacuation, maybe to Vinetown, is suggested. -- Vandurn 02:08, 29 May 2008 (BST)

- May 15th, 2008: There has been multiple survivors sleeping outside, and subsequently get eaten by the one zombie patrolling the suburb.
- May 12th, 2008: There has been a break in at The Meatyard Building. Why a zombie would want to break into a building with such little strategic value is beyond me, but I was there firsthand when it happened. -- Wiiwantxbox 22:43, 12 May 2008 (BST)
April
- April 29th, 2008: Scouting around the suburb, the revive lines are empty and there isn't a ruined buildings in sight, a low zed population and all TRPs are poered, this suburb is safe. -- User:Pvt Hawkins 6:15 (GMT+10)

March
- March 23rd, 2008: With thew exception of a few pockets of resistance, Pegton is dead. Those military SOBs left not only us, but also their soldiers to die on this rotten town. Since the massive horde called The Dead striked the city with violence never seen before, trying to breach the border barriers seems to be a less horrible death. -- Janjones 19:06, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- March 18th, 2008: Human resistance help seems to be flowing in from Pitneybank up north. The Sellek Way and McDonald Drive Fire Stations have both been repaired and recaded to VSB+2. The Beagly and Chaning Auto Repair shops have both been repaired and sit at VSB+2. The Ludwig Building and surrounding buildings have been repaired at sit at EHB for free running survivors. No power has been restored to the area but a small pocket of survivors is working to help provide safety to the few left in Pegton. -- Zombiekord
- March 11th, 2008: Area is trashed. Almost no buildings intact. My character in this area has been waiting for a res for days. Gona try and shamble to another burbs res spot. Zeds are in almost every square, if in low numbers. Estimate total zeds in burb around 150+. Probably should be made a Danger suburb. -- MidniteScavenger
- March 5th, 2008: Center core is toast, area around the Rowcliffe NT is all ruined with mobs of 5-10 zombies at the resource buildings. Just further south the hospitals are under attack by mobs of 15+ with 2 of the 3 already down. Caded buildings are still around so it's not Red but it's getting close. -- Majmack - March 5, 2008 00:33 (EST)
- March 3rd, 2008: Most of the buildings in Pegton are ruined. No larger groups of zeds around. St. Brigitta's church is ruined (though doors are secured). 11 zeds outside of Dinham Alley Police Department, unknown number inside. Most resource buildings (police stations and hospitals) are under zeds', so move away from those buildings. I'm curently taking shelter in St. Brigitta's church, but will move on in couple hours.
edited: March 3rd, 2008, 8.00 pm: Whitlock Way Railway Station is secured (very heavily barricaded), also there are 5 bodies outside. -- Eisnhorn
February
- February 13th, 2008: North and Northeast Pegton are a mess. Everything is in ruins and I saw no lights on anywhere. A few groups ranging between 5-8 zombies on the streets. I came down from Starlingtown with the UDBrain tool active so barricade levels have been updated. Most everything is OPEN. Staggered up to St. Brigitta's as I ran out of APs. 1/2 hour later and Hoorah St. Birgitta's is VSB. I make it inside and hope for the best. Took 40 HPs waiting to earn that last AP. -- AleViola 05:13, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- February 11th, 2008: I set up a genny and a radio in the Bennett Building, though it needs fuel to power the phone mast. Any MalTel personnel or survivors in the area willing to keep the phone mast defended? Zombie presence in the are still significant, but rebuilding has begun. -- SupaJames 01:15, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- February 8th, 2008: Many of the Pegton buildings are ruined. Several buildings have 'cades up with zeds inside of them. A few RPs are still 'caded in accordance with the Pegton plans, but there does not seem to be a generator running anywhere in this part of Malton. Zeds are not thick on the ground, but there is still a significant presence, with roaming groups ranging in number from lone zeds to pack as large are seven or eight. -- Gaston Tanstaffl 22:52, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

However, survivors are cautioned not to stay here if the Big Bash breaks up or begins to move again. Upgrading to moderate. -- DaytonDead 05:40, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

- October 23rd, 2007: Although the edges of Pegton remain in constant turmoil the heart of the suburb is regaining its strength with key building such as the NT and main pd fully barricaded with strong survivor presence. The undead are slowly being driven from our boarders towards the West. -- DCLXVI 05:16, 24 October 2007 (BST)
- October 16th, 2007: Still large amounts of resistance. Non-resource buildings are being used as safehouses. Rowcliffe NT is still under heavy assault.
- October 15th, 2007: The resource buildings in Pegton are in a constant state of flux most of them are not making it through the night. Although the key locations are being attacked strong survivor resistance is still taking place in Pegton. -- DCLXVI 03:18, 16 October 2007 (BST)

September
- September 27th, 2007: Pegton is only a semi-dangerous place these days. The most dangerous area is about the three hospitals in the area. Though, surprisingly the Rowcliffe building is been, overall, very secure the past few days. The CDF are slowly moving into the area to help deal with the damage, though the Army Control Corps and Individual 11 has been doing a fantastic job with that. -- Carl Wolfhiem 17:39, 27 September 2007 (BST)
- September 25th, 2007: Current status of pegton can be described as moderate with break ins common place at the hospitals but not at the nts or pds. St Matts hospital is under attack an in a constant state of flux. -- Omen 17:39, 26 September 2007 (BST)

- September 10th, 2007: "feral" zeds have over taken the Rowcliffe building which now lies in ruin. It should be noted that the zed count in Pegton yesterday was low enough to classify it as a 'green' suburb, this blitzkrieg tactic has caught many off guard. -- Omen 04:28, 10 September 2007 (BST)

I had an alert for my group on the Pyke wall, then someone sprays over it with a tinyurl advertisement. That was my last spray can. Considering how few spray cans there are, and that the Tagging purchase is NOT on most people's to do list, something needs to be done to stop GSers. -- (Grafitti Spammers)

- July 8th, 2007: Just a thought here, I was thinking it might be useful for survivors in Pegton to update the status of each building on each building's wiki page. Just to say whether it's safe or not, but not going as far as saying if there are any survivors inside as this might be exploited by Zombie or PKer groups. If you are living in Pegton at this moment, I'd like everyone of you to respond to this idea. Thank you. -- Bono Landy 14:43, 8 July 2007 (BST)

- April 2nd, 2007: St. Matthew's Hospital Staff is the current organized hospital in the suburb. In addition to generalized healing, we offer revives by request on our talk page, Talk:St. Matthew's Hospital Staff. Please leave a revive request and come to a square near the hospital. DO NOT ENTER THE HOSPITAL SQUARE. Due to recent break in's, zeds are forbidden from getting too close. Revives are done on a first come first serve and are limited by AP and equipment. DNA extraction will be preformed on all zeds requesting healing. If you have been murdered in Edgecombe, we are opening our arms to you. As an additional bonus, our hospital has a club next door and an apartment building within lurching distance. Though there are two other hospitals in the suburb, our hospital is the only officially organized group. Please come for Revives, Healing, or Rest. -- Bathe| 10:23, 2 April 2007 (EST)

- October 19th, 2006: Radiofication of Pegton started. About 10 strategic points now have generators, radios, fuel and protection.

- UPDATE: Tilly Row PD has been breached again. We lost another survivor. Our cades have fallen and the doors are secure. If the zombies keep picking survivors off one by one, there won't be anyone left to defend Tilly Row PD.

June
- June 28th, 2006: Necrotech building and hospitals are safe for the time being, but the Cowing Way Police Department is under seige from a zombie mob of 15 with 24 dead bodies. Along with a few supporting zombies in adjacent blocks, barricades are very minimal and are routinely broken down but luckly no one is inside.
- June 12th, 2006: The Necrotech office in Pegton has been broken into and ransacked. 8 zombies and currently 2 survivors inside (won't last that long). Cowing Police Department is empty and no barricades.
- June 6th, 2006: Be aware, large mobs of zombies attacking the district, I saw 26 outside of St Siricius's with baracades low, though no survivors inside; about 8 infront of St Elisabeth's and another 6 outside of St Matthew's but their barracades are holding; and also a few zombies wandering arround near-by buildings. Be on your toes people.
- June 2nd, 2006: Be advised - Large number of zombies (15 at last count, plus 3 additional nearby) outside Cowing Way Police Department.
May
- May 31st, 2006: A few groups of at least 5 zombies roaming around. Not recommended for survivors finding a place to sleep, as there are very few at very strong level of barricades. Of those with very strongly barricades, nearly all of them have 4 or more survivors in them which means that one infected person, if not treated right away, can quickly spread the zombie menace to others. (See below for more information about the barricades).
- May 2nd, 2006: The Shining Ones arrive in Pegton to discover most of the town ransacked and devoid of life.
April
- April 30th, 2006: Zombie numbers in this suburb have increased after several successful zombie raids into buildings to the south of Pegton. Gangs of more than ten zombies are a frequent sight on the streets. Many are South Pegton survivors dragged into the ranks of the hungry dead in the last few days.
The Necrotech office in Pegton has been broken into and ransacked. With no re-vivification facilities in the suburb, it appears zombie numbers are set to increase.
- April 28th, 2006: The suburb is in the middle of a stuggle between the undead masses and the survivors. None of the critical buildings are safe for long, and the people are crying out for thier protectors to actually do something. The Pegton Heroes have been spotted in town since the recent chaos, but are still missing and assumed to be zombie fatalities.
