Arby
It was an edit war in the making, it was an edit disagreement- the original intended role of arbitration. Their attempts to settle it on the talkpage didn't work- as you'd see if you went to the talk pages of David Grohl, and Jack's Cold Sweat. Nalikill TALK E! W! M! USAI 23:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's not about what was on the Team Zombie Hardcore page- it was about what was on suburb pages, about whether TZH should be listed as a Hostile or Survivor group- due to their enthusiastic "eye for an eye" policy. Nalikill TALK E! W! M! USAI 23:29, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Arby's
Thanks for the support. Feel free to join the case, though you'll probably have to be happy with Seventythree as arbitrator. --Cyberbob DORIS CGR U! 03:07, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Arby's II
No problem Cheese, thanks for the tip and the move. I will keep it to the talk pages.--Dhavid Grohl 02:08, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Withdrawn
When withdrawing a suggestion, you must not remove the {{SugVoteBox}} and {{Suggestion Navigation}} templates. SugVoteBox is essential as it categorizes the page and Suggestion Navigation is still handy, even when the suggestion is closed. The exact instructions can be found here. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 00:11, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Cheers dude. :) I'm still getting used to this new suggestion format. I'm one of the Wiki Veterans from when it was all on the same page. Then I took a break for a while and came back to find it all changed. -- Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 14:25, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, I already told you about this once, try to remember it! Well, at least you didn't remove the navigation this time... --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 10:29, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- I followed the instructions though. :( What did I forget? -- Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 10:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- {{SugVoteBox}}. Don't remove it. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 10:40, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Shit...meh, close enough. :P -- Cheeseman W!RandomTalk 10:41, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Apology
- Apology?? What the fuck is this shit?? I totally agree with the last two points but this is something I'll never do--Finis Valorum
I'm with finis on that one. In the mean time i will remove the news post on the Dakerstown page. While I will refrain posting anything on the news section that other groups could find insulting, I don't see why i should no longer post in a POV format when the only person who has mentioned having a problem with that is Finis. If i was approached by a member of the Daker's community i would be more then willing to change stop making POV edits. --Jed 03:27, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Step 2
Hey, I think Finis' actions on the Santlerville page are a violation of the step 2 set out in your ruling. I have obliged step 3 however he is continuous reverting news posted by a member of my group. Several members of the Santlerville community have reverted his post, members of my group (The Dribbling Beavers) have attempted contact with him and Suicidal Angel has stepped in and told him his actions are inappropriate. So i'm wondering if arbitration is at all binding?--Jed 23:36, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Images with stupidly long filename
About this, don't just label the problem fix it. Reupload the images with shorter files names and have the long ones deleted under Crit 1 for pointless duplication.
If there are too many to get to then just categorize them and fix the ones you can I can take care of the rest later on. Remember to update wherever the image is being used with the new file name to avoid breaking anyones page- Vantar 17:44, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Neither Criticism or Praise, but Curiosity
Aside from spamming the changes page and generally bizarre content, might not some of the images being used by User:Xela798 constitute copyright infringement? For instance, I doubt that American Express sanctioned Westward_Financial --Bette Noir 02:52, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

I might be able to help, but I'd have to see the code first. But yah, if you can give me a link, I'll have a look. I'm not the best editor though, so I might not be able to help!--SeventythreeTalk 10:06, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I can't see any problems with the code. The only thing I can think of is you might have linked up the wrong page in your preferances. By all rights the Nickname box should read {{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Krazy_Monkey/sig}} If that doesn't work, then I'll have to take a look at some other stuff.--SeventythreeTalk 14:38, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Mall Tunes
You, Iscariot, and Suicideangle are the only one's who seem to have a problem with the mall tunes, there are over a dozen people who have contributed to the mall tunes over the last 6 MONTHS its been up. It was neutral until you assclowns starting taking it down. Its good fun by those how ARE ACTUALLY IN GIDDINGS MALL and god forbid the players have fun and roleplay the f-ing game.--Happykook 23:46, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- The one's who keep jacking it up are ALL ARBITERS, how fair is that??? The mall tunes was up for over 6 MONTHS!!! but all of a sudden last f-ing week its a big problem? You want to lock it fine, how about locking it the way its been for the last 6 months untill these jackholes started the fuss over NOTHING!!!--Happykook 23:51, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Great, now Iscariot is undoing all my wiki adds on other pages, you wanna tell him to quit jacking my stuff up???--Happykook 00:03, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
I acknowledge receipt of, understanding of and compliance with the esteemed sysop's decision regarding the 'Mall Tunes' section of the Giddings Mall page. -- Iscariot 00:08, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- I believe we edited at the same time. As above I respect and abide by your decision regarding the page to prevent an unnecessary edit conflict, however in the cases where I have edited after the user in question, one has been to fix the tabling, and the other was to remove a POV statement that was in contravention of the spirit of your ruling. -- Iscariot 00:11, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- In response to the defamatory statements below I'd like to point out that my edit history shows compliance with both the line and spirit of your ruling. I notice that the danger report has references to the music in it, but have not reverted it in compliance of the decision. -- Iscariot 00:18, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- yea, Iscariot is happy as hell, as your decision gives him EXACTLY what he, and his buddies wanted in the first place. For not taking sides you did. What would be neutral would be to list mall tunes but put music is on hold, that would be fair!
-Addition - Well he's still editing my posts acting like a sysop. Its nice to see that he gets away with anyting he feels like, and i get the shaft. Its nice to see how neutral things are around here--Happykook 00:09, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

The Next Giddings Mall Wiki War
Ok, i've abided by your decision, i left the mall tunes alone, as much as i didn't want to. Iscariot has, since your intervention, gone on a PKing spree harrassing my character in game (Happykook) and his group (Friends of Happykook) with his character Cliff Spab (check his page you'll see its his character). I have the screenshots to prove his harrassment.
Now he's unediting all my info on the Giddings Mall page in regards to the Second Big Bash, keeping it set to his POV, and claiming that his opinion is the only CORRECT OPINION and any other is a POV...
I was going to let the mall tunes thing fly (even though he got his damn way) but now he's harrasing me in game, and on the wiki in other areas, i'm getting pretty fucking sick and tired of getting shafted here while he sits back and laughs while you sysops get his back...--Happykook 23:31, 20 March 2008 (UTC)+
- How do i file an arbitration? I want a restraining order filed on Iscariot, so he cannot keep editing all my damn posts. This is f-ing dumb. I didn't pay kevan a good bit of money to have this game ruined by a sysop suckup (Iscariot) who's got nothing better to do than harrass me both in game, and the wiki!--Happykook 23:42, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- This page here. If Iscariot agrees, I will arbitrate. I know whats going on. -- Cheese 23:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- I filed for arbitration, i have no desire to exchange any communication with Iscariot, can you inform him a claim is filed and get the ball rolling?--Happykook 23:52, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- There is no definite, factual truth that the update won the siege and even if it did, that's not the proper way to word it. It makes it sound like someones POV. -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 23:38, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well than, explain to me how having the "BEACHEAD TACTIC" listed in there is OK, but mentioning the update is not, when it was the update that created the f-ing beachead tactic in the first place? How is it ok to mention the tactic used to take the mall (which came from the update) but not ok to mention the update?--Happykook 23:42, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

My Vandal Data
I believe I am more than deserved of a warning or something to be stricken from my record. The problem is, I don't understand how many strikes I am available for, as I know it has been two months since my last infraction, but I'm not sure on my number of edits. I do know that I am at least eligible for one. So if you could strike that for me, thatd be awesome.
Awesome having someone who is not so overbearing as a Sysop. So glad you got elected.--CyberRead240 07:41, 4 April 2008 (BST)
- you can only get one a time,so yeah read you qualify. go here to check your edits, make it viewable as 250 edits and you can match up if you've made enough. and you can go here to check when your last infraction was. Once this one gets struck you have to wait a month and 250 edits to get the next one done...i'm in the process of getting mine struck as we speak.--xoxo 07:47, 4 April 2008 (BST)

Time
Hey, my timestamps aren't showing my correct time. I'm not 100% sure but am fairly confident they used to. However we had a change with daylight savings so i adjusted the time in my prefs one hour and now the timestamp is 13 hours off...any clues? Thanks.--xoxo 07:00, 9 April 2008 (BST)
- Time zone? The server is currently running on British Summer Time and is timestamping in that for people who haven't changed the default. Normally they use UTC until BST comes around but, I kinda doubt they were ever right for you though.--Karekmaps?! 12:08, 9 April 2008 (BST)

Bannings
Would I have a case against ScoobyDooDoobie for a wiki banning since his account was clearly made in poor faith to troll and grief anyone not a member of his group? If you view his history here ( http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&limit=500&target=ScoobyDooDoobie ) and just click on any number of (diff) links, his comments are nothing more than insulting and condecending. Peer Review question
Hi Cheeseman, could you please tell me how long it generally takes for a suggestion to get moved into peer reviewed (assuming it has enough keeps vs kills)? Thanks in advance for the answer. --Tselita 20:07, 11 April 2008 (BST)
- Are you talking about a particular suggestion? Or just suggestions in general? -- Cheese 20:08, 11 April 2008 (BST)
- Well I'm mainly asking because I have a couple of suggestions up for votes, and one's been up for 5 1/2 days now (the other's only been up for 1 1/2 days). Both have a lot of keeps and not many kills, and Karek had been sort of ranting to me in a discussion on one about how the first suggestion (Sledge Hammer) was going to go to peer review. So then I started wondering how long that actually does take. On a related note I wanted to know how long it takes for Talk:Discussion subjects to go into archives (I've had some in there for almost a week without having made an update on it, others i've abandonned, and still others which have already gone through the voting process). I'm still sort of new to all this and have only been doing this for a couple of weeks. --Tselita 20:13, 11 April 2008 (BST)
- It's ok. :) Suggestions stay up on voting for 14 days (2 weeks) so everyone can have a say. Discussions don't get tidied very often, however I'm going to do a bit of cleaning of the old ones in a few minutes. -- Cheese 20:15, 11 April 2008 (BST)
- Tidying? Yes you are...Especially since I was planning on doing the cycling. Ah well. I'll get it before you next time. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 20:17, 11 April 2008 (BST)
- Two weeks? Okay thanks. It was beginning to get hard to remember which suggestions I've made since I've made a lot in the last couple of weeks. My characters are in red zones surrounded by red zones, on both ends of the map, and so I'm sort of bored, and when I get bored I get creative. Verbosely creative. Oh Hi Axe. The mudkips army has been fed by the way.--Tselita 20:19, 11 April 2008 (BST)
Problem in Talk:Discussion

What's the rules for moving something from Talk:Discussion into the Overflow? I have 4 suggestions in talk:discussion which don't need to be there anymore - 3 have already gone to voting and 1 I already abandonned. All have been unchanged for over 6 days and it hasn't been moved. Am I supposed to move them or is someone else, or is it automatic after a certain amount of time? I'm only asking because I'd like to reduce the size in talk:discussion to prevent more template breakage. Thank you. --Tselita 16:08, 15 April 2008 (BST)

Sledgehammer Suggestion
It's been 15 days since I first put it up to vote. Should it be going to Peer Reviewed now? --Tselita 00:23, 22 April 2008 (BST)
Well as you may know, in the past there have been several run ins with this user, however as I was reading over her contributions I couldn't help but notice the utter rubbish which they put up on the wiki regarding their group Sinclair Hotels. From what I have seen almost every single one of their contributions is linked to the group. However their wiki skills do not seem to be improving, at all. For instance they still had to have their contrib to Kempsterbank removed for putting it in the main suburb part without NPOV. Their contrib to Krinks power station was removed (by yourself if I am not mistaken) and they still can't format wiki pages correctly, as seen with Byewell Bank and it's picture of 'a bank'. I'm also failing to see the point behind the various sub-groups as put in the current branches. I know this may be kind of 'wrong' seen as you would be signing off your own work on it, but from what I know of the group there is no way in hell that a group of that size could contribute so much to the game, nor the wiki. Also there is blatent overuse of categories on pretty much all of the sub-group pages, let's just take the Main Page as an example. On there I am seeing a fair few conflicting categories for a start and I can guarantee that it continues. So after all this, I come to you, asking for advice. I would like to take them to arbitration to get them to use the wiki correctly and to stop making pointless extra groups and for them to do something constructive to the overall wiki, however I'm not sure if the reasoning behind it is good enough to warrant a case. So yes if you could advise me what to do or point me in the right direction it would be much obliged. Thank you. Acoustic Pie 00:54, 24 April 2008 (BST)
- Okay thank you for your input, I'll go around and ask SeventyThree if he'd be interested first as I don't believe he has had a case with her yet. Once I have a reply I'll either get started or have to ask someone else. So thank you once again. Acoustic Pie 18:31, 24 April 2008 (BST)
- Well, as you saw on the deletions queue I managed to sway them towards removing them from the wiki. However seen as they were requested by the user should I just move the whole thing (votes and all) to the speedy deletion queue? Or should I get Xela's vote on it first? Hopefully I can manage it so it won't result in an Arbitration case, and I have given them a target to reach by the end of may. If this is reached then it'll mean that they will be a decent contributor to the wiki community (who can remember to sign their damn posts!), but if not then it's off to Arby. Either way it should be interesting to see what happens. Thanks again for your help with what to do regarding all this, but it's nice to see the pages being deleted as a start :D Acoustic Pie 21:37, 30 April 2008 (BST)
- It should have been speedy deleted by the SysOp who made the third SD vote, I'll check it again and delete it.--Karekmaps?! 05:37, 1 May 2008 (BST)
Hello there, me again. Quick question, just out of personal curiosity could you please run an IP check on User:Parisish0t, User:BRE123 and User:Xela798 for me please? I was just adding more stuff for her to do so I don't have to take her to Arby and saw Meritz Hotels and Stratuphere Hotels, both follow similar group box bits and haven't done anything else besides work on the Hotel pages. Heh, I think you had a word with Parisish0t about it, but it this whole thing just got me wondering about the IPs. Still, I hope all is well with you, I'm currently around a busy point in my life, hence why you may not have seen me very active recently. Thanks and have a nice evening. Acoustic Pie 15:19, 20 May 2008 (BST)
- I can't check that far back unfortunately. Checkuser has it's limits. I think you could get away with putting the pages up for deletion though as there doesn't appear to have been any work on them for a while. -- Cheese 16:12, 20 May 2008 (BST)

Hey dude, understood loud and clear on why you shouldn't promote your own character on the wiki. I wasn't promoting my own character though, or even a friends character for that matter. The character i spoke about in my edit is a character in game who stays in that factory, tags the factory as being his, tags the surrounding area directing players to his factory, and for all intents and purposes has developed a backstory to what is just a factory at the edge of the map. It's probably a moot point since I'm making Nailgun v2.0, but I'd rather not have the non-sock-puppet people who did legitimately vote keep have their votes not count. We're not Florida after all. :) Sorry needed to joke, I'm very frustrated that this happened hours before it was going to end, and I'd like to at least know that it will have a possibility of being -seen- by kevan which, if it's sent into the ether, it never would be, thanks to the stupid sockpuppetry --Tselita 16:11, 19 May 2008 (BST)
- I think it would have been Undecided even without all the socks. Which is actually not too bad. -- Cheese 19:14, 19 May 2008 (BST)
- I know. So could we put it up as Undecided then, and I'm still putting forth Nailgun v2.0 to try to improve on it? Just in case Kevan bothers to read undecided suggestions, since it was pulled like an hour or 2 from the end? And I would like people to be able to see the v1.0 and v2.0 with an easy search. Unless there was a major sock puppet revival in the other direction in the last 2 hours (which would also be struck), that's where it would have been going anyway, because I was just checking. After striking the morons who were sock puppeting, there are still 59 keeps. Compare that to 24 Kills (many of which were from one group) and 10 spams (some from the aforementioned group) - it seems that there was a more varied response for keep than kill. There were sock puppets from apparently around 5 people on one side (running 2 or 3 accounts each, from what I read in Grimch's comment), and uniform group-speak of one group from the other side. Especially since the only reason I pulled it was I thought Grimch was saying I had to pull it, then I read his later comment which said I didn't have to, but I had already sent the message to you by then. --Tselita 19:24, 19 May 2008 (BST)
- I don't know. :/ I'm not sure I would be allowed to as there could have been more votes in that space of time which could have swung it either way. Also, if we put this in Undecided then folk are just going to Dupe vote the new one as it would be about the same. -- Cheese 16:18, 20 May 2008 (BST)
- Cheese, 2 things - 1) The only way it would have gone from Undecided to Rejected would be if in the last couple of hours there was a sudden influx of 27 kill and spam votes. Which would probably be more sock puppetry. 2) How would it be a dupe if they're both my suggestions and one is just an updated version of the first one? Could you please put it into Undecided so it'll at least be seen? I'd really like to not reward sock puppetry and had I known that it DIDN'T have to be removed, based on what Grim was telling me at first, I would never have asked. Thank you. --Tselita 18:53, 20 May 2008 (BST)
- Ok. I shall move it to undecided. You've twisted my arm. :P -- Cheese 21:53, 22 May 2008 (BST)

- Undecided is pretty good, considering what you suggested. -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 22:52, 22 May 2008 (BST)
- Thanks :) But it's more like Pretty good, considering ow there was an entire group dedicated to trying to kill it by voting en masse as a collective block. If they hadn't done that, would have definitely been peer reviewed. Still going to do Nailgun v2.0 though - I won't turn them, but some of the others may be willing to cross over with the new modifications --Tselita 23:05, 22 May 2008 (BST)

Nailgun v1.0
For some reason, Nubis took Nailgun v1.0 out of Undecided becuse of the sock puppets. Can you please put it back in Undecided and explain the reasoning for why it should be kept as undecided despite the 11 sock puppets? Thank you. --Tselita 15:40, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- How did I know you would come whining here about this even after I clearly explained my reasons: Due to the sudden appearance of 11 sock puppets which make a total sham of my suggestion, I'm closing this and making Nailgun v2.0 - please check in Talk:Suggestions for details - thank you. --Tselita 06:40, 19 May 2008 (BST)

Category:Removed Suggestions
A page that makes it easy for authors (and others) to find suggestions that they (or others) remove from voting, in case they want to discuss, reference, or revise them.
Hopefully Cheese understands if he moves this from the proper category there is a case for vandalism for a bad faith edit. Or more likely Misconduct. Why not just let Nailgun V 2.0 run its' entire course during voting and not remove it to give it a fair chance. You already know that it will be watched for sock puppets.
You can't request a suggestion be placed in a category it doesn't belong in when you close it. --– Nubis 06:23, 26 May 2008 (BST)
- As is often the case these days, Nubis is entirely correct. Since you removed the suggestion, it goes in removed suggestions, not undecided. I told you repeatedly that you didnt have to remove it and you did. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 10:41, 26 May 2008 (BST)
- Yeah but I made the suggestion when the survivor/zombie ratio was quite different than it is now and I'm not so sure I want to bother to pursue it now. So now if I don't, a ton of votes go wasted just because a few (or maybe 1) shmucks sock-puppeted. And back then Grim_S, I took your suggestions more seriously before the harassment stuff, since they were coming from a sysop. --Tselita 15:13, 27 May 2008 (BST)

Tselita's Talk
Learn to understand before throwing idiotic accusations around, I wasn't making the comment to troll her I was making it to make a very clear and obvious point, every single word in that comment has purpose and meaning.--Karekmaps?! 17:49, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- 3000 characters of TEXT repeated ad nauseum. Only purposeful and meaningful if you are Real Gamerz. --Tselita 17:52, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- Man you're dense.--Karekmaps?! 17:53, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- Aye, coz the word "TEXT" repeated 650 times makes a lot of difference to a discussion doesn't it? All that is, is trolling and inflames the situation further. Which is a bad faith edit and therefore by extension, since it's the spamming of a page in bad faith (we've banned people for less), is vandalism. Regardless of whether there was an intended point, it just makes you look like a moron. -- Cheese 17:57, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- Grow up, there's no bad faith about it and the fact that you can't see that there is an obvious point behind it makes you look like a moron. Read through the reply chain, I even go into the point a bit, the fact that TEXT repeats itself enough to for a literal wall also has to do with the meaning behind the comment. If a report is filed it would be a petty report simply because she doesn't like the commenter and would prefer to be a vindictive bitch instead of simply doing the grown up thing and removing it. Ruling vandalism would be incompetence in the extreme, claiming it's bad faith just shows you don't understand what is meant by bad faith, her not understanding the message and not liking the poster does not make it bad faith.--Karekmaps?! 18:03, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- Grow Up <-- I'm not the one who had to resort to repeating the word TEXT repeatedly to make a point. -- Cheese 18:08, 25 May 2008 (BST)

- I am doing my job right. What is it with you and Grim and calling folk inept? Imma go help Gnome with the Speedies instead. At least that way I'm doing something useful. -- Cheese 18:17, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- Your comment on my faith makes it very clear that you aren't. I call people inept when they do something that I think reeks of not knowing their job, you did it by assuming bad faith and so I replied by calling you inept for calling me a vandal.--Karekmaps?! 18:21, 25 May 2008 (BST)

- He's doing it to be a trolling shmuck. And cheeseman can you give me a link to do that? I've never used VB before. --Tselita 18:16, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- yes you have ignoramus --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 18:18, 25 May 2008 (BST)

Oh and since you needed to call me a name after the word 'have'.... you're a putz. --Tselita 18:34, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- And to think you would have done something, like maybe notice that it was vandal banning because you were accused of vandalism and people were ruling both vandalism and not vandalism and vandal banning was in the pages title and vandal banningwas in your task bar and when you were editing it would be saying Editing UDWiki:Administration/Vandal Banning (Section). With all these clues even the dimmest dullard would figure it out. I have to say this is the clearest evidence we yet have of you being completely incapable of taking a hint. --The Grimch U! E! Damn man. Funt is good at this dupe finding stuff.
Aye, well - I wrote the Fallback suggestion, so that one was easy. Under the old suggestion system, I used to cycle the suggestions on a daily basis, and I reorganised the whole Peer Reviewed page. That stuff's ingrained in me, for better or for worse. --Funt Solo QT 15:14, 3 June 2008 (BST)

Mock Suggestions
Is there something you can do about DrPain, Gardenator and Zaphod Beeblebrox with the mock suggestions? Please do not tell me that any of their suggestions or comments are legitimate. DrPain with his antisemitic remarks, Gardenator making two talk:discussion suggestions obvious to try to bully me, and Zaphod Beeblebrox making one to bully DrPain (and I do feel he deserves it but the Talk:Suggestions place isn't the place for it - it's going to spam up the whole page at this rate)
Can you either delete those three, put it in overflow or maybe have a section for humorous talk:discussion suggestions? And in case anyone says Windex should be a humorous suggestion, I legitimately suggested both of them (and one of which was almost the same as Pruning). I'm probably not going through with Windex only because it's so similar to Pruning, and I'm on the fence about the Decorations one. Neither of those suggestions have been made to MOCK another user though, unlike Gardenator's (and Zaphod Beeblebrox's)
In addition, I've been having to deal with DrPain continually commenting on even my votes, even on other people's suggestions, where it's not HIS suggestion that he's re'ing too. I'd really like someone to finally do something about it because sysops like Nubis clearly won't (being a self-declared Goon himself) This behavior is becoming more and more infantile. --Tselita 18:29, 3 June 2008 (BST)

Hi KM/Cheese. I just wanted to draw your attention to item 4 of the Spam removal guidelines, where it requests that you "be Polite and make no additional comments". I noticed in your removal of a recent suggestion that you said "Nuked!" as the edit text and "lots of loverly tasty spam votes" in the Spam template.
Please, don't do that kind of thing: it's bad enough all the comments that get made in Spam votes, and bad enough that someone has their suggestion shot down, without the removal edits also adding insult to injury. I'd be happy to ignore him, if he'd stop respond-posting on every single post I make anywhere on the wiki. What did I say on Kevan's page that merited his response like that anyway? --Tselita 01:18, 24 June 2008 (BST)
- You don't need to respond back though do you? Just ignore him completely. The reason they are making posts like that is because you're rising to their bait. Just completely ignore it. Don't respond to it in anyway. They'll get bored eventually and move on. -- Cheese 01:21, 24 June 2008 (BST)
- It doesn't work. For the last week I hadn't been responding to anything they said, and it didn't deter them, it just means they increases the amount of harassment done. Seriously, what did I write on Kevan's page worth his making the snippy retort? That I fixed a building for 20AP? And I responded by saying WHY I was fixing it for 20AP, for several good reasons. --Tselita 01:25, 24 June 2008 (BST)

- It really does. I don't think it helps that you, Nick and Jed are all from Oz. As a result, you guys all see things in your version of English. Therefore, there are differences between what might seem funny to you guys and what might seem funny to other English speakers from the US or from the UK in my case. So to get the list to seem a useful and amusing part of the wiki, you need to have folk from different places giving their input. That why you get an overall funniness rather than just funny to one particular area.
- I'm not saying what you've got so far is bad, far from it. Quite a lot of it is very good. It is Nick and Jed who really run the show, I merely do schooling with Nick so I feel somewhat compelled to contribute. Maybe a little bit of collaboration with them could bring out the true potential. They are surprisingly creative people, in comparison to what you saw tonight.hahaha.--CyberRead240 16:51, 24 June 2008 (BST)

This little zerg group of pkers http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Shiro_Tagachi made up a page for a new group that is allied with The RA just to slam them. http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/57th_ADMI This group has also altered the Regulators Alliance front page as well. Page moves
Yes, but I don't see the same thing happening to groups like RRF.
Plus, TFN is not news about only the fortress. We mainly do malton and other news, while keeping one article about each squad that gets replaced every 2 months or so. So putting the name as The Fortress/News isn't what is applicable.
- Looks like the solution Cheese found works for everyone? Most groups actually do have their pages either start as Group Name/Page name, or get moved there. I've been working my way through the ones that don't, but it takes time. --PdeqTalk* 01:45, 16 July 2008 (BST)

Warning?
Was that an official warning you put on our talk page? For changing a heading on a discussion on our own talk page? Especially since the section is a discourse, we suspect we have the right to redefine it on our own talkpage anyway we like, surely? It's not as if anyone would think Blackboard would put that heading on themselves.... we'd like to argue for a removal of this warning, if it is of an official nature. Especially in the light of the editor you are defending adding their own insulting heading to our entry on their talk page, (which, admitedly, we changed) and the whole discussion centering around the user in question and their abuse of the location of the group we represent on the West Boundwood listing --Crabappleslegalteam 01:27, 1 August 2008 (BST)
- It is an official warning. And yes for changing the header on your own page. Precedent rules in this case as it has happened before several times. The warning stands I'm afraid. And if you provide a diff link for this other editor doing the same I will quite happily pursue the matter further in their case. -- Cheese 01:30, 1 August 2008 (BST)
- Alternatively, you could look through diffs and contribution histories so you know what's actually happening before warning. This would be the link he's referencing I think(notable as it happened before Crapbapplegate's edit).--Karekmaps?! 01:49, 1 August 2008 (BST)
- As a word of explanation... the first post ever on my Talk page was from Crabappleslegalteam and was utterly header-less. In the interest of fairness, I didn't specify any guidelines for posting there, but I thought it was reasonable to label and organize it at my discretion. It was not meant to be specifically pejorative; we were engaging in mutual whingy nonsense. If that warrants a warning, that's fine; new or not, it's my responsibility to act according to guidelines. I do, however, feel it was inappropriate for Crabappleslegalteam to change not only the original header I had on their page, but ALSO the header I put on MY page. Can I change it back without being penalized, or is there a formal process I have to follow? Or, if it was illegal in the first place, could I put some sort of neutral formatting in the interest of organization? Thanks! Blackboard 03:14, 1 August 2008 (BST)
- As you can see, even the so-called 'wronged party' appears to be surprised by your judgement. Is there literally a rule in which no-one is allowed to change a heading created by anyone else? This was a heading over a discussion on our user page - henceforth, it was no longer the representation of anybodies thoughts. As admitted, it was in retaliation for our own statement being attributed a similar heading on the other users page..... creating a heading and editing a heading above a discussion started by whoever is to do the same thing. Furthermore, anybody looking into the situation can see that these discussions revolve around Blackboard moving a group heading from survivor heading to Pker heading, therefore changing the representation of a group in a very public space against that groups will, and against evidence, and ignoring our own warning regarding report of group listing misuse. That we duly reported such gross misconduct, and that a warning was still withheld in the hope the situation resolves itself, and yet that we recieve an official warning over casual interpretation of rules, is galling. Official warnings should not be thrown around so arbitrarily, especially when there is no conflict regarding such headings, and especially when there is no attempt at subterfuge - in the end, we consider this an unjust ruling, and appeal that the sentence be revoked, your honour--Crabappleslegalteam 00:05, 2 August 2008 (BST)
- Actually, didn't Blackboard amend it again, to which we did nothing? If that's so, this mark on our record is therefore even more unjust!--Crabappleslegalteam 00:10, 2 August 2008 (BST)
- The issue is one of attributing commentary to a user falsely, the header issue comes up because headers are usually made by the commenting user and often are part of or related to the comments being made(for example if I made a header called "X user bitching" it provides different meaning than if x user made that header.) That being said it's not a common type of case and isn't so straight forward. You might be best off trying to talk it out with Cheeseman and/or Blackboard and try to work out some sort of agreement or compromise, the fact that neither one of you were the ones reporting it might help the your case if neither one of you really mind the changes made by the other one.--Karekmaps?! 09:25, 2 August 2008 (BST)
- Well, to be honest, it's all just a bit of fun for me. When it stopped being fun, I basically said "Let's just drop it" and Crabapple seemed to be in agreement. I thought the
line through the heading was adequate, as it showed a sort of mutual vandalism - and really, who else is going to read it but us? And for the record Crabs, you're right - I didn't complain about it. In the immortal words of The Dude - "You're not wrong, Walter, you're not WRONG..." and I prefer to resolve things on my own. And, we did. Basically, all I want to know is whether or not I can change the header on my page. Crabs, any opinions on this? And remember, the rug (er, the warning you received) is not this issue here, dude. Blackboard 15:09, 2 August 2008 (BST)
- As far as we can remember, in the past people used to have far more control over their own user talk pages than this - anyway, the heading changing is, forgive the pun, small change compared to the initial issue, or any other issue that actually does warrant something as serious as an official warning - Blackboards not bothered, we're not bothered (incientally, Blackboard, on top of everything else, you've just used 2 terms for us which mark you as a likely proxy for a member of MAF, on top of everything else.... and we're not the Crabapples - we're their lawyers!). And ironically, cheeseguy, doesn't your disclaimer ironically proclaim you reserve the right for yourself on your own talk page for which you gave us an official warning for doing? Not to call you a hypocrite or anything....--Crabappleslegalteam 00:45, 3 August 2008 (BST)
- Wait, the MAF are the only people who abbreviate? Come on now. Maybe we're ALL members, just sitting at home, twisting our mustaches and plotting your demise. Blackboard 01:25, 3 August 2008 (BST)
- It's just those coinciences keep mounting.... anyway, we know you're a MAF proxy - it's even you who put the MAF back on the West Boundwood listings, isn't it? of course, we realised you may be too embarrassed to be a member of the biggest bunch of propagandists and slanderers in game and on the wiki...--Crabappleslegalteam 00:19, 4 August 2008 (BST)
- Ugh. My apologies, Krazy Monkey. Crabbie-poo, why do you think I noticed you moved them in the first place? I was, however, acting independently, in the interest of having an impartial page (if you know what impartial means). And like I said, and will repeat, it's not the issue here. Now take a deep breath, and try to think back to a time before you sat on that icicle and actually enjoyed life from time to time - and be glad there isn't a group category for humorless, anal-retentive Boyscout weirdos. Krazy, again, I'm sorry - you won't hear any more from me on here. Blackboard 03:56, 4 August 2008 (BST)
- God, we wished he'd propaganda him/her/itself into their own game to talk rubbish in..... it would be interesting to know if anyone believes him/her/it...anyway, we've got what we want, we're off. Tatty bye!--Crabappleslegalteam 00:41, 5 August 2008 (BST)

- I had made the requirements back in June/July before I took my unannounced break from the wiki Axe. And I'm not pushing - I'm just letting them know since the A/VB page states that I should ask them to remove it when the qualifications are met. Lets face it - after I had gotten the vandal warning and before i took my break I was posting a ton. The only thing that hadn't been met yet was the time limit, which has now definitely been met. ;) Nice to talk to you again btw Axe. Missed ya. Work's still busy though. Master Template PoN
From my talk page:
Here's what I've come up with: Template:PlayOnName. All you need to do is replace the bits in bold with the bits you've got. -- Cheese 21:48, 10 July 2008 (BST)
- Is it okay if, since you designed that for me to help in giving out Play On Name templates to the adoring and not-so-adoring masses, I edit it a bit to look more like the rest of the template's formats? (I like the whole red on black look - don't want to get accused of plagerizing again or anything like that) And is there an easy way to alter the size of each PoN template in the master template you made? I tend to vary the sizes of the templates in relation to the shape of the picture. Thanks --Tselita 17:40, 17 September 2008 (BST)

PS - of which do you consider yourself to be on the side? Jesus hates zombies? Or Jesus IS a zombie? It's for an informal poll I'm taking. --Tselita 14:28, 20 September 2008 (BST)
- Sorted. :) You can now manually set the colours using the variables: headercolor (the colour of the header text) and maincolor (the colour of the main text). On the Jesus question. He is in a state where is he is both and at the same time, neither. Like a dual naturist. But more complicated and holy. And he has a nice beard. -- Cheese 18:16, 20 September 2008 (BST)

Hi Krazy, I created that as I intend to replace the current UZM page with it as soon as it can be redirected, not to circumvent anything. Proof of bias
You bitch at me, and in the same breath again condem him for being the douchebag that you know he is, you condemn me for not standing up to him, when he had all you sysops backin him, and you call me a fuckhead for not fighting hard enough against him??? I backed out because YOU all had his back, he fucked with me in game, and in wiki, he accused my friends of being zerg accounts of mine, you even told him to back off because you knew he was full of it, but you DID NOTHING!!! Now you want to blame me saying that you can't man up and deal with his shit because i walked away??? What kind of a cop out is that??? You all fucked me from all ends, and then call me the bitch because I didn't give you the reason you needed to put a stop to his shit? The worst is that you lash out at me, then delete it and hope it fades away in your history...
Again i say its nice to see sysops are spineless cowards how allow assholes to bully the wiki when they are unwilling to do shit about it, but rant on those few who are victims... Thanks for doing your job, i hope Kevan is proud of you.--Happykook 05:54, 25 October 2008 (BST)

- Looking at his last bid, he received a lot of vouches, but I'm noticing some of those vouchers that time around are now voting against. And on top of that, people who vouched initially seem to be changing their mind and there isn't very many strong yes' going for him (although he has been a long time sysop, so that counts). His policies were sloppy, but well intended I think. I agree though, his inactivity is a worry. Either he doesn't care enough to check, (or thinks because he was a sysop once before, he wouldn't have to bother) or there is some conflict IRL preventing him from wikiing. Either way, it doesn't look too good. -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 22:01, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah. I noticed that. It's mostly the folk who are changing their minds that are making me lean towards saying no. There's 18 (not counting mine) outright vouches, 10 outright against, 2 abstain and 4 that have changed from vouch to against. He also hasn't done much (besides the policies) since he came back. =/ -- Cheese 22:14, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- He does have a point about it, though. It wouldn't hurt to have the sysop team review the permabanned users and apply the current vandal banning rules to them and give them the due process of a sysop team vote. They are permabanned, so it is not like they are going anywhere, so the sysop team can take a little bit of time (say a month) to go over the cases and make a ruling. Most will be upheld (the one-shots and impersonators), but some might be able to get a second chance. Two Things
Its regarding that arbitration case, need ya before it gets nasty.
First, this: http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Template:Ridleybankgroups
Look at the history. Now, in some suburbs where Umbrella is active, one or two of our subgroups is active too so we place them under our name in the active group list as seen in Ridleybank (or Shearbank among others). We have been doing that for a long time now, long before any arb case. Since haliman uses the same acronym, UBCS, and even the same emblem he seems to want to separate that. I disagree. We are not going to adapt our subgroup list just because he is such a copying *******. If he wants to list his group so badly in Ridleybank then he will just have to place above or below ours. And then there will be two UBCS's listed in Ridleybank but he stays away from ours.
Second, at his group page it still says (under "Announcements") * Haliman has taken Airheadoh up on his offer and has taken over the UBCS. This is not hostile, as Haliman had the consent of Airheadoh. Sept. 27
The arb case proved that this is not true so I dont see any reason why it needs to stay.
I hope you want to help with this, I thank you for you time in advance.--Thadeous Oakley 09:11, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- If he wants to add his group to that page, he should do so without interfering with yours (or at the very least get his own emblem). On the second point, it's up to him what he puts on his page, but I will talk to him later on about it and ask that he changes that particular statement. -- Cheese 17:05, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
I had no idea you felt that way... ;) --xoxo 13:06, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism?
This guy has one of those annoying fake orange message bars on the top of his page. When someone clicks on it, they're logged out of the wiki, and this can be quite annoying when you're working on something in a different tab. Would I be justified in making a vandal report, since he doesn't seem to have been around since January? Is there a policy on malicious links anywhere? Thanks, --Pestolence(talk) 18:52, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- There is a malicious links policy but, this isn't normally considered covered under it.--Karekmaps?! 19:08, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- I see. I've had a look at the policy pages and the only one that seems to prohibit malicious links is the one against malicious links in sigs. Could you direct me to the malicious links policy? or were you referring to the malicious signature policy? --Pestolence(talk) 19:53, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Wasn't Finis or somebody warned way back when cause he had one of those? Or am I not thinking right...--/~Rakuen~\Talk I Still Love Grim 20:07, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- That would be it I think, anything else is considered vandalism under bad faith. However we generally only consider malicious sites or links that crash the wiki vandalism. I know this specific thing has come up a few times in Vandal Banning and has always been ruled not vandalism, although it's annoying it's not really harmful.--Karekmaps?! 20:15, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Not vandalism? Er, I know for a fact that
Special:Userlogout links in those orange bars have always been considered vandalism. --HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS 23:00, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Images
Hey, Cheese, I know there isn't a policy and radda radda, but when I go through the unused images I usually don't delete the "alternate" images for malls just in case they are actually used when the mall is taken. I also leave images that are just a month old alone just in case. There are always plenty after the deadline anyway that need to go. It's always so tempting to make an image ark when I go through them! --– Nubis NWO 03:44, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

- Well we have a community page of it now, and it's happened before (with the jpg version) so yeah.--xoxo 00:06, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

- 11/22/08: I have scraped the Z.E.M.A. Profile one for deletion because the name is too big to fit onto Graffiti in Urban Dead. I have made the ZEMA Profile one because the name is more smaller. Your supposed to delete the other one, not this one! -- 01:41, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
P.S. The plan was to create an article for Advertizement and User Profile uses so I created the ZEMA Profile one. The other one you have merged was auctully scrapped for deletion. And once I made the ZEMA Profile page, it then gets moved to Zombie Emergency Management Agency/Profile and I could still use the origonal name for it to all work. That was the plan! And you deleted the Z.E.M.A. Profile one but you duplicated it to make the Zombie Emergency Management Agency/Profile and sent the ZEMA Profile one for deletion which is the opposite. If this dosen't make sence then just delete both the Zombie Emergency Management Agency/Profile and the ZEMA Profile and then I will go back to Square One.

Vandalism (2)
Hi I would like to bring your attention on the SOS thread my post was considered as vandalism, as I when I saw the CZLG (Carreer Zombies Lobby Group(s)) completly flood the SOS page I saw them overload with trolling I saw they could keep put their post even above Table Of Contents during so long without anyone saying anything about it... then I didnt erase anything and only moved the pair of mock comments that were above the TOC at the bottom of the page with their other similar comments that they spammed several times then I put a comment that all that was the same and it was cancelled... ok fine its vandalism so be it... but look: I added a note with explanations about why their arguments were wrong and insights about the situation with a link to my opininon to not overload the page like the CZLG enjoyed to do with same arguments repeated over and over and that comment was allowed to stay But even that was removed afterwards by the CZLG ! They have several wiki members that are very active and they felt like they could completely wipe out anything that doesnt please them and remove any traces of other's right of expression ! Here is what I am talking about : http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Talk:S.O.S. and they keep putting their mock comments again above Table Of Contents: rather than dealing with my opinion which I thought was demonstrating the flaws of their reasoning. Instead of debating, they just removed it completely with "00:22, 20 December 2008 The Hierophant (Talk | contribs) (Undo revision 1341004 by Special:Contributions/Sarkomance (User talk:Sarkomance) Vandalism mised in with retarded opinions.)" <- this user considers I dont even have the right to express myself, because he qualifies my opinions as "retarded" just because I dont think like him, is that a sign of his intelligence? Its the abuse I was denouncing ! They can blatantly flood with insulting comments or wipe out completely the others opinions and they silence the wiki minority groups or users. Is it fair in anyway?--Sarkomance 00:47, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- The reason you got reported for vandalism is because you moved the comments and attempted to place them under a new heading labelled retarded trolling or something to that effect. However you didn't format it correctly and made it seem as though Boxy had said that. That is seen as impersonation --> vandalism. However, you haven't been officially warned so don't worry too much about it. Just take care when moving stuff in future. That's all. -- Cheese 01:17, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about that :) Thanks for moving/deleting those pages. I was wondering about Category:Blane Tracker. Should this and its subpages be moved to Blane's subspace? The template makes me confused..
Oh, feel free to send me to hell if I'm bothering you too much :) --Janus talk 21:20, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
- It's cool =p I'll figure this out. -- Cheese 21:30, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Could I erase the content of this page (since it's a dupe) and turn it into a redirect? --Janus talk 15:43, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yup. =) Go ahead. -- Cheese 15:44, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks! --Janus talk 15:47, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Speedy delete
Cheers! Also, that's what Malton needs, Dinosaurs? Also, for the cutting board, The Six Weapons of Power. ■■ 03:10, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Ur doing it wrong
I mispelt the RRF's name, so all those page's you just moved are now in the wrong namespace. Sorry, I shouldn't be up this late :(. Anyway, the corrected links are now at A/MR. Sorry! Linkthewindow Talk 13:30, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. =p I'm doing this half asleep myself. And its half 1 in the afternoon here. -- Cheese 13:31, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- Lol :). Thanks! It's half past the other twelve here :P. Linkthewindow Talk 13:32, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Blast. I did a mistake too :( Journal_of_Federationtrooper should have been moved to Journal:Federationtrooper, not to Journal:Coolpikaaa/Federationtrooper.
However, that user already created a new page under the right name, so I'm placing both on A/SD.
Sorry again :| --Janus talk 13:45, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Please sign the move thing, I was gonna move it myself but I didn't make a comment on it. Probably also best to keep the commentary down to a non-existant minimum when doing something like that.--Karekmaps?! 14:16, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- Done. =) -- Cheese 14:18, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
You changed several links without notice on my group's wiki
Short version, you moved our PKer list and rules page without notification and screwed up several links in the process. Please let me know in the future when you do something like that or at the least update everything relevant instead of leaving me with the dirty surprise of multiple dead links.--Garviel LokenNo Pity! No Remorse! No Fear! Talk17:15, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry. I thought I'd got them all. =/ Must have missed a couple. -- Cheese 17:28, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
