Just a simple army helmet found in forts. We need more hats.--Leonidas 21:22, 6 June 2007 (BST)

- Classic. would make the soldiers feel more war-like Aznmonkeyass99 17:34, 6 June 2007 (BST)
- Make sure it's available in all the "military" colors (including camo). Oh, and MOAR HATZ! :D --Specialist290 ♠♥♣♦ 00:48, 7 June 2007 (BST)
- I'm surprised it's not already there. --Sgt Cannon 02:58, 7 June 2007 (BST)
- Yes, yes, and yes. Should be able to pick from the usual military colors IMO, including Camo :) --Brashnard 03:15, 7 June 2007 (BST)
- Wait does this include the full head gear option, like the lone-wolf stuff from Ghost Recon 2? If so that'd kick ass. A dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 09:46, 7 June 2007 (BST)

- Of course! Everyone loves the army helmets! --Secruss 18:39, 8 June 2007 (BST)
- There are so much soldier around...so its almost essential! --Skritz
- This would solve the problem of the only head wear in forts being Berets. I hope it comes in black.--Jim Vulcan 20:15, 12 June 2007 (BST)
- Yeees! I don't want a beret, give me a black helmet--Zyll GIFD 22:47, 21 July 2007 (BST)
- Totally! And a Black / Dark Blue option in PDs would be excellent, too. It would fit the whole SWAT Team aesthetic. --Johnny Guage 21:42, 17 August 2007 (BST)
- As Johnny Guage. --Hhal 21:14, 25 August 2007 (BST)
- Why wasn't this implemented earlier? We should have helmets with specific logos on it, such as green(camo) helmets in the fortresses and SWATish hats in the police departments. Of course, it shouldn't come with a defensive bonus or that would just be stupid. --FEAR Recon 10:28, 18 September 2007 (MST)

- You people are so hypocritical! You put down suggestions to do with protective looking clothing items, because you say people will think there is a ingame effect... yet you vote for a helmet? There is a possible defence bonus in-game affect for this, yet I see that many of the people who have killed other ideas for 'percieved ingame effects' are voting yes! This is a great idea, but sorry... NO --Mr Cane 19:48, 15 October 2007 (BST)

Wig
Comes in all colors. Found in Mansions and Malls. Takes up the hat slot. After death, the wig description would be changed to: A shredded, bloodstained wig. This is the perfect item for the eccentric Maltonians among us!

- a classic pom-pom touque.
- a touque with ear flap thingies, this type is seen often, too.
- a smaller, more stylish touque for women...also a very common style.

Rice Farmer's Hat
I don't know how large the Asian community is in Malton, but many metropolitan areas have a "China Town" tourist type of area where these are a dime a dozen. Therefore, you should find them in malls. If anything, it's just another cool hat. --Skitchipoo 00:33, 8 June 2007 (BST)

Pirate Hat
Specifically, the hat I want is a Tricorne, but I'm not too fussy... call it a "tricorne", "tricorn", "tri-cornered hat", "three-cornered hat" or just go for the non-specifically-lame but easy-to-recognise "pirate hat".
If you need a mental picture, think "CaptainJack Sparrow." (And please, no comments about the absence of a certain ethanol-based beverage)
Where to find one? Um... a costume shop I guess, so maybe the (a?) Mall, and some rich body might have kept an ancestor's hat in the attic of their Mansion – they were naval hats originally. —Revenant talk 17:12, 9 June 2007 (BST)
- Comment: If I can't get a tricorne, then I'll have to wear a top hat and call it a tricorne, and it just won't be the same. :( They are still worn by various groups and individuals today: The Lord Mayor of London wears one, as do fans of various revolutionary sports teams in the US. Wigs come in brown, blonde, and black. They're found in Mansions and Malls. A wig takes up the hat slot. After death, the wig description would be changed to: A bloody, tattered wig or something similar. Like other clothes, this could be discarded and/or swapped for a clean wig.

Peaked Caps for the Military
All right, we already have peaked caps for the Police, as well as for Zoos and Museums. However, there is one notable institution which uses them that doesn't have them in-game, and that is the military. Up until the beret was standardized (and I'm not sure how it works in the British Army now), peaked caps were the standard headgear for military formal wear, and I'm sure that even if the British Army has gone over to all-berets now, there would still be quite a few of these lying around in storage.
In brief, what I'm proposing is a "(color) peaked cap" for the headgear slot, findable in Forts in the standard military colors (tan, mustard yellow, green, dark green, khaki).

Slouch Hats
From wikipedia: "A slouch hat is a wide-brimmed felt hat with a chinstrap most commonly worn as part of a military uniform. It is a survivor of the felt hats worn by eighteenth century armies. The distinctive Australian slouch hat, sometimes called an Australian bush hat, has one side of the brim turned up or pinned to the side of the hat in order to allow a rifle to be slung over the shoulder."

Cricket Hats
Cricket bats are already in UD, why not add some cricket-related headgear to be found in malls? Cloth caps should be available in white, black, green, maroon, dark blue and light blue. Also, a cricket helmet which would come in the same colours. I know some players may possibly expect the helmet to have some protective properties, but hockey masks are already in the game and there doesn't seem to be a problem with them. Non-military, bike/sports helmets
Please forgive me if this has been suggested, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I'd like to see some black, white and primary colour motorcycle and bike/sports helmets (motorcycle and sports helmets = two different items). The latter would reprsent both these -- Dukes, which are very common and used not only by skaters and snowboarders but by cyclists and many others... or an aerodynamic cycling helmet... no distinction needs to be made between these kinds of bike helmets. A classic black motorcycle helmet with a spike on it would kinda cool, too. :)
Bike helmets would likely be found in Malls, and maybe Schools. Motorcycle helmets I would expect would be in Malls and maybe Auto Shops? but I am not sure...
I suppose there is an expected benefit to these, but how are they much different than a fireman's helmet? (Oh and I originally though military helmets were already in-game, I guess not... hence this edit, BEFORE anyone voted...) --WanYao 20:25, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Tiara
A tiara is like a crown, it's usually a semi-circular band of metal decorated with jewels and is worn on the head or the forehead on formal social occasions. Tiaras are frequently used to "crown" winners of beauty pageants. Brides often wear tiaras as part of their wedding costume. In keeping with ball gowns and diamond necklace.
Head slot.
Should be available as diamond, pearl, silver, jeweled tiaras etc.

Cheap Plastic Airsoft Helmet
This is a solution on to how to get a military helmet ingame without it being killed in voting "I hope". If anyone is familiar with airsoft and they have ever seen the helmets then they know that they look like. If you do not then here is a link to one [4] "Also don't vote no if you don't know what they are and your too stupid to go to the link". The helmet is usually cheaply made in real life and easily broken so if would carry no defensive value or any bonus and can actually be broken into pieces kinda like clothes being torn but when the helmet breaks, you have to get a new one if you want one again. They will be found in malls and junkyards.--Major Striker 03:16, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Ushanka/Shapka
Wha?
First off, I guess I should explain what exactly an 'ushanka' is. We generally call them shapkas here in the western world, but they're basically the Russian fur caps you see plastered all over movies and TV. They're usually used in the Russian police and military, but they're pretty common among civilians both Russian and Western.
Russian hats?! Here?!
Ushankas aren't just Russian these days! They're practical winter wear, and people love them. They're stylish, exotic and practical. Therefore, it makes sense that you'd find them in Malton.
I don't need that!
Ah, but think of those who do! Russian wannabes, casual survivors, maniacs, zombies... I'm sure there are plenty of people who will love the addition of ushankas to the game!
So how does that work?
Ushankas would go in the hat slot, and would probably come in black, brown and gray. As finding them goes, the hat store in Thompson mall would be ideal. I dunno, though, I guess they could go in PDs and forts, too. --Private McKinley 16:13, 30 April 2008 (BST)
