My plan therefore is to begin, on the 1st of January 2008, the Culture Tour 2008. A one man pilgrimage to all of the places in Malton that can be used in the furtherance of one's intellect.
The Rules:
- 1. A screen shot must be provided as proof.
- 2. The building must be in a condition to allow research and contemplation (i.e. not ruined or ransacked).
- 3. The screen shot must contain proof of intellectual betterment (i.e. the reading of a book, though not necessarily for XP gain).
- 4. I must be alive at the time of the screen shot
I will, therefore, attempt to visit every museum and library (including the libraries in mansions). Schools will not be visited, for every mind a teacher inspires, even more are lost to mediocrity due to the system. I believe this will showcase the intellectual side of the Philosophe Knights, revealing another of our facets to those who ignorantly believe we are just simple killers.
9/11/08 - Today is the end. The journey has taken 314 days and visited every one of Malton's one hundred suburbs. Over the year I remained at level 5, and amassed 731 experience points. The tour spanned the time before and after the ruin update that made it a considerably more daunting task. Today I visited one site, the final site, Malton College of Medicine and completed the suburb of Greentown as well as the city.
